hi. As a Catholic, I believe the confession is very important that it should receive the sacrament once or twice each year or as often as we need to be at peace with our Lord Jesus, God. you should go to church to confess their sins to a priest freely, not be embarrassed. As a matter of fact, let me share with you something that the father (priest) mirko told a Sunday while we were in church that day. said that when we go to confession should say freely all that we have sinned, because we have to be honest with Jesus, our sins and tell God that can free us from sin and brings us closer to him and help us to be holy. I understand that you are embarrassed to say some of his sins to a priest, but you just have to. you said "Is there some kind of confession in line so I can do from home." I would say no, because to me what he said is like going against what Jesus did for us and gave us. is like going against God. That is not going anywhere. Father says that you should read everything they have sin and the sins which embrassed to tell a priest to say in person that committed the sin that is ashamed to say father and I am very ashamed of all my sins and what I did. you have to let go to hell. he is making you shut up and let you all sins. When is in line with the confession that he is putting in his mouth a bandgage not to say that without shame or sin that you made. tries to enter through many doors (ears, mouth, etc) for that sin. father said that his only way out is through the mouth when they confess their sins, even those who are ashamed to say. because if you leave within it (the sin that has not confessed) after the confession is more likely to sin again. you have to go on his knees before the Lord and tell him his sins because he is full of tenderness and love that he forgive us our sins and His Holy Spirit to us and leads us to his house (after the confession, we feel like we are peacful in the sky), we are at peace with God. I hope this helps you think about what I say to you and do what I thought. you'll see that I am right. Please do not "go to confession online. Doing so is like rejecting the holy sacrament of confession.
The movie Dogma is one of the best lines about Catholicism that I have ever heard:
"You do not celebrate their faith, which is MOURN!
No, not fear - is an excellent practice true humility and forgiveness. If you are too embarrassed to confess, then you're not really sorry.
And no, you can do online.
No, it's Reconciliation with a priest in person. Even if an exception was made in line … ah, there was no place secure enough to protect them and the "confession" is sealed between God, you, and the priest.
I know it's hard because it feels like Judgment. It is part of the trial of God, too. Hear the words from the mouth to the priests is part of the process of reconciling. It helps you learn. Keep your shame, as it is part of a contrite heart (which is necessary for forgiveness).
After reconciliation and penance I suggest you replace the night of their prayer time to the "Law of contrition" prayer. This will not replace Reconcilliation but will help you get the strength to go to confession.
of course there is.
Post all your sins on YA R & S, and we will give you absolution.
So no, if the Bible does not say you have to confess your sins to a person?
I am not a Christian, but I hate religious control, and that is part of PPL that make things even in your Bible.
No, I'm going face to face.
No man u have to confess your sins to ur. The only God.Why to forgive or not to pray for forgiveness through Jesus.
That is one reason that pushed me away from Christianity.
I really do not mean any offense, but when it comes to confession and repentance, only to be "me and my God."
Peace.
I was raised as a Catholic Christian and I am an adult with a relationship with Jesus, not a religion. According to the Bible, God's Holy Word, we can go straight to the throne of God and confess our sins, because Jesus died on the cross and the veil was torn in the Ark of the Covenant. This means that Jesus conquered death and since then we can talk directely to God through Jesus, without a priest to intercede for us. Jesus is the Way to the Father. No need to go through any man, including a priest. Read God's Word and decide for yourself, I did! I have a direct line to God and so do YOU.
here's the thing - you have to confess with your mouth …. I understand that you're coming from …. well I want to go to a church for different denominations - he was always good for them out of my heart and mind!
There confession online, but I do not think that's correct. I am Catholic and my last confession was around March for my confirmation. If you are a devotee then the confession is important, but if not then do not do it.
i almost never do. Apart from that, I am a good Catholic. But still … anyway. I only hope that God understands.
I'm fine with it. When school began that anyone face to face and not the thing with the confessional. I did not like at all. I mean we knew he was the priest, and probably knew who I was, but anyway it was also the director. I saw a conflict of interest there. Oh, and I must confess that sometimes I have escaped to another parish to confess that some large I do not want my father to know immediately. The funny thing was that I did this time I felt comfortable talking to my father about.
Now my next question: What is the biggest punishment you received?
Wow these Catholics behaved quite well. I grew up once a week. Now to play once a month.
