No, it's Reconciliation with a priest in person. Even if an exception was made in line … ah, there was no place secure enough to protect them and the "confession" is sealed between God, you, and the priest.
I know it's hard because it feels like Judgment. It is part of the trial of God, too. Hear the words from the mouth to the priests is part of the process of reconciling. It helps you learn. Keep your shame, as it is part of a contrite heart (which is necessary for forgiveness).
After reconciliation and penance I suggest you replace the night of their prayer time to the "Law of contrition" prayer. This will not replace Reconcilliation but will help you get the strength to go to confession.

I am not a Christian, but I hate religious control, and that is part of PPL that make things even in your Bible.

That is one reason that pushed me away from Christianity.
I really do not mean any offense, but when it comes to confession and repentance, only to be "me and my God."

I was raised as a Catholic Christian and I am an adult with a relationship with Jesus, not a religion. According to the Bible, God's Holy Word, we can go straight to the throne of God and confess our sins, because Jesus died on the cross and the veil was torn in the Ark of the Covenant. This means that Jesus conquered death and since then we can talk directely to God through Jesus, without a priest to intercede for us. Jesus is the Way to the Father. No need to go through any man, including a priest. Read God's Word and decide for yourself, I did! I have a direct line to God and so do YOU.

here's the thing - you have to confess with your mouth …. I understand that you're coming from …. well I want to go to a church for different denominations - he was always good for them out of my heart and mind!

There confession online, but I do not think that's correct. I am Catholic and my last confession was around March for my confirmation. If you are a devotee then the confession is important, but if not then do not do it.
