Yes In late 1960, excommunicaton between the two churches were built. You can, if you understand the Eucharist to the Eucharist - the same processing / transubstantiation happening.

Not good, I'm not sure. I would say that Catholics should be able to, though.

Yes, and Orthodox Christians may receive Communion in a Catholic mass This is because the Greek Orthodox and other Orthodox churches have exactly the same beliefs about the real presence in the Eucharist that Catholics do. indeed, the Catholic and Orthodox doctrines are virtually identical. It is a different case with the Protestant churches, which have significant doctrinal differences with the Catholic Church - especially in relation to the Eucharist, which Protestants do not believe is the true Body and Blood of Christ.

In fact, a Catholic may receive Holy Eucharist for the whole Orthodox Church, where: (1) is a very serious (in most cases, the inability to receive Holy Communion in a Catholic parish - for example when you are in a country where it is almost impossible to have access to a Catholic Church), and (2), the bishop of the Orthodox Church, particularly given their permission. Orthodox sacraments are valid, but these sacraments are illegal. This is because these churches are not in full communion with the Vicar of Christ. It is wonderful to see that they have remained intact 7 sacraments (contrary to the Protestant communities), however, more is required: the presentation to the authority vested by Jesus Christ as Head of His Church here on earth. Pray for full union.

Thedifferences between Catholics and Greek Orthodox Church doesn't reside in the essence or nature of Christ, but in the power of the pope and the Virgin Mary. Both are Christians, so why not?

According to the 2005 Catholic News Service story, Catholics can not receive the Eucharist in an Orthodox church, or vice versa: http://www.americancatholic.org/News/Syn ... With love in Christ.
