My father was watching "Law and Order" the other night and there was a kind of seminar for the priesthood and he was married. I know that "Law and Order is based on real cases it is, right?

Married men can be ordained, but ordained men can not marry, so no, priests can not marry, but it is possible for a married man who is studying for the priesthood. The Catholic Church has married priests in good condition (I'm not talking about those who left the clerical state for marriage), but before they were married priests became, like the man in the show.

    <<Are Allowing Catholic priests marry?>>
It is possible that a married man to become a priest, but one man can not marry if already ordained.

Maybe it was not a Catholic seminary Christian?
Or, as I said, married men can be ordained priests.
Furthermore, "based on" does not mean that writers do not take artistic license with the "factual" elements of the story.

no they are not allowed to marry, however …. if this man was older and already Episcopal, Lutheran and other "Catholic-lite" preacher / minister, etc., and married and then found that he wants to change the names …. Would be a married Catholic priest. (not shouting there is no option in bold:)

If the priest belongs to a different name and was a priest and married and then converted to Catholicism and then wants to be a priest in some cases are allowed to marry.

They should get married, God told them not to marry. The law that a priest should not marry a man in a law by the Catholic Church. It is unbiblical.
