About Catholic priests who abused boys …. I am very confused as to why they did. ignore what many people (and do not realize) is that there is evil in the church. these people (priests) were not followers of Jesus Christ, from day one. for some reason people do not think that evil can come into the church. soooo bad! I believe that Christ was referring to when he warned of false prophets, and so has been a growing attack of evil in the church in the last half century. so the whole world is losing faith … and now running scared.

Any time you have a large group of adults caring for a large number of children, mostly without parental oversight (s) that have problems like this. I think many of them are sexual predators who became priests because they specifically gave them the opportunity to spend a lot of time alone with children and (until recently) the protection of the church.
I am sure that there were issues that they refrain from sex in. does a healthy person wants to have sex with a young teenager.
