What makes the Protestant fear / hate / mistrust of the Blessed Virgin even more ironic, given how deeply dedicated to the founder of Protestantism was with her.   Ah well, what can I say - I stopped trying to understand how Protestants think and reason long ago.   Edit:   Speaking of our Protestant brothers and sisters in Christ, are by their absence. Gee, I wonder if that's because it might have to rethink its approach to the Blessed Virgin in the light of the founder of the devotion to her?   No - that can not be it.
