Hello, here is how it goes:
You'll have to get the timing and location of your local parish. Call the church office or check the church bulletin (which should be announced).
      - Before the confession, an examination of conscience contrite. I make a list of sins for which I remember and feel (must be both … sorry … contrite and resolved to avoid the same sin in the future to the best of their ability, otherwise no confession it works … however, understood that God is weak and may fail repeatedly in spite of our decision). You can have the list in the confessional with you if you think you have forgotten something in her. Therefore, if you forget something you did, if not honestly forgot and omitted intentionally as a sin of pride, then it is still included in his acquittal and the sin is forgiven anyway.
      - Go into the confessional and take a seat. Make the sign of the cross, remembering their baptism and devotion to God. Say "Excuse me father, for I have sinned it has been ____ (months, years, days, etc.) since my last confession."
    - At this point, the priest will ask you to confess your sins.
      - After his confession, the priest must, of course, the lawyer for his sins, on how to avoid them in the forgiveness of God and how to resolve dilemmas. If you have additional questions, you should be able to ask. Confession is a deeply personal experience and there is plenty of leeway for you to ask questions and seek the guidance of the priest.
      - Then the priest asked him to say an act of contrition. Words are like this: "Oh my God, I feel my heart for having offended thee and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishment, but mostly because offend thee, my God, that every good art and deserving of all my love. firmy I resolve, with the help of your grace, to sin no more and avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen. "(you can write or try to remember that early. Whenever the priest knows that I have trouble remembering it)
      - At this point, the priest, if you did not actually give him the penance … they are more likely to prayer and a recipe for a time of prayerful meditation of his sins and what they do to their lives and those of others. Moreover, the acquittal profession (something along the lines of "your sins are forgiven, go now in peace to love and serve the Lord."). Note that this can happen before he asks you to recite the act of contrition, and that sacramental reconciliation is not complete until you have completed your penance.
What you said in the confessional is strictly confidential. NEVER reveal the priests, and priests have gone to jail for refusing to disclose information confessional, even when calling witnesses. Many studies the priest to continue as a confessor and a good source of counsel for the needy. In my opinion, reconciliation is the sweetest of all the sacraments (and only to communion). treat it as the grace is that, instead of punishment for you, and you will find it much more attractive. Good luck and God bless.

must first make an "examination of conscience." Say a prayer to the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Virgin Mary to help you remember all the sins he has committed and the number of times (well, every day, few, etc..) Second, go to confess their sins priest. Call parish office during business hours of the confession. Third, do the penance the priest gives you, as special prayers recited after the confession. Finally, you should try their best by the grace of God and not sin. God bless and good luck!
"act of contrition "<—- should read this daily prayer / confession.
      Oh my God,
      I am wholeheartedly
      having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
because they fear the loss of heaven
      and the pains of hell;
      but mainly because
      that offend Thee, my God,
      Who are all good and
      deserves all my love.
      I firmly resolve,
with the help of your grace,
      to confess my sins,
      to do penance,
      and to amend my life.
      Amen.

These two links can help you. I found it really helpful when you return to the confession. To confess your sins and the priest gives him some advice about them, and an absolution of sins.
You can check your parish bulletin or website for confession times. Mine offered once a week, but some parishes offer more.

Reconciliation is a sacrament to be a healing encounter between God and the penitent, and there is no need to worry about what they say or do.
This is a way how to go to Confession
+ Get ready you make your examination of conscience.
Enter the confessional. You can choose to speak with the priest in front or behind a screen so anonymously.
+ After the priest greets you with the sign of the cross the sign of the cross and say: "Bless me Father for I have sinned. Was (ie how long) since my last confession. These are my sins … "
+ Tell your sins simply and honestly to the priest. Do not be embarrassed.
+ When the list of all your sins, please read "… Sorry for all these sins and the sins that I can not remember. "
+ Listen to the advice the priest gives you and accept the penance from him. Then make an act of contrition for sins:
      My God
Sorry for my sins with all my heart.
      In choosing to do evil
      And do not do well,
      I have sinned against you
whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help,
      to do penance,
      to sin no more,
and to avoid any leads me to sin.
      Amen.
+ The priest then conclude with the words: "Your sins are truly forgiven, go in peace." You answered: "Thank God."
+ Perform your penance as soon as possible.

    Hello!
To find Confession times, call a nearby Catholic parish and ask. Below is a link to many Catholic parishes in USA.http: / / http://www.masstimes.org/
For more information on the Sacrament of Confession and the way to go to confession (which we must say), please see these links: http://fisheaters.com/penance.htmlhttp://acatholiclife.blogspot. com/2006/0. ..
Above all, congratulations! Confession is the means instituted by Christ in which we are absolved of our sins. All this is possible thanks to his sacrifice of death on the Cross. In the Confession is not only completely forgiven your sins, you can also seek the advice of the priest.
      God bless

I know every church is different, but mine is just "fly" (the lack of a better name for it … maybe misselette) and tell us where is the confession, and adoration Chaple, when open, Children are the altar or the person reading the Bible. The other option is to get Ahold of premises destroyed by phone and only call someone. Regarding what you said … I have not been since I was a little … well, I remember something along the lines of "forgive me father for I have sinned, and I do not remember the rest. "You could see something like that. I think the advice is given on a more personal level you should be able to contact the priest for counseling. To my knowledge, we can not accept the blood and body of Christ if they are away from the church for a long time … I did not know this until you rebuked me for it some time ago. I sincerely feel that between me and God, but perhaps I am wrong … The church of God, not mine. I hope this helps at least some.

  7. Gabriela says:

Yes, you can seek advice and guidance. I say only because the previous responses to your first question answered pretty well. :]
      Good luck and God bless.

  8. Emily D says:

This is where you can confess all their sins. First go to church and the church are in these rooms. If your church is like mine you can go face to face or screen. When face to face you can see the priest and you can see you. If you screen, you are in a dark room and the priest and can not see each other, but we can each other through a screen on the wall.
Then make the sign of the cross and say Bless me Lord I have sinned. It has been … months since my last confession and here are the sins I remember … (in this case ie sins) … I feel sorry for these sins and the sins that I can not remember. (Then say something and then give him a couple of sentences you have to say afterwards. He then asks you to say the act of contrition. Then tell a few more things, then make the sign of the cross and say thank you father leave.)

  9. cvo says:

See the thing with the confession that I feel bad. If not, they never confess their sins. Over time, you end up forgetting things.
I confess to God every time you make a mistake and apologize for it immediately. Why wait? What if you were to die tomorrow?
Confessions for the man makes no sense to me.

  10. ARIZONA says:

check your Bible … will tell you exactly how the confession … trust me on this … or should I say this in confidence THE BIBLE …

  11. He Is The Alpha And The Omega says:

Your first problem is that you think you have to confess their sins to a man, not God for forgiveness. All you need do is pray to our Lord and to show what they have done and repent to him. If you are honest and who knows who will be forgiven.
