Catholics, what are your thoughts on this?
As I recently attended a Mass, the priest gave a sermon encouraging Catholics to attend confession more often. He stated that if more people came to confession, God bless us with more priests. I have never heard of this teaching. What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree or disagree with him? Why or why not?

I agree because the priest wants to 'up the ground for the seeds of vocations to take root. Confession helps us to live more holy lives of keeping control of our sins. Confession indirectly increase the potential for assistance to religious families, because children grow up in a quiet home. Confession indirectly strengthens parishes full of grace with the participants.
Vocations are called of God. Anyone who has one or not. Confession is a sacrament, but its importance should not be overlooked, is important for the individual and the community "to the soil for seeds to take root, and the call of God to be heard.
disagree. As a Catholic is the only part of the church where I was a little iffy. I can understand if it's a great way to rely on a trusted person who is bothering you, as sometimes has to tell someone just …
but to ask God directly, please forgive anything I've done wrong.
The Catholic church has been below the priests now for over 30 years, and it is because religion is the chopping block in the world today, because it has lost its credibility and has become a controversial change, and not assigned to call people to become priests, I think that is the same God to confirm with the goal of getting people to believe in it as a Catholic, if it is real it has to make a decision before man here shows that it was all just a lie in the first place.
That "education" is just the opinion of the priest. Was ad libbing, because there is no such teaching.
I do not see why it will be more men in the priesthood. Perhaps as National Take your daughter to work week. If young men go to confession and to speak with the priest, you can think of it as an option for them.
I am Peter! Confession brings more grace (it is a sacrament). This helps us examine our lives, not more easily identify and focus on increasingly saint. Our holy helping lead others to holiness. It's a chain reaction giant Christian.
So while it is not a teaching of the Church, that sounds quite reasonable!
I think that is true.
I personally attend the frequent confession.
If that happens more people will probably mean that more people are active in the faith not only in the Church, but at home. This affects the license on a trademark in children as adults who see their parents living examples Faithful. This would serve to strengthen the faith of children in religious life and the possibility of a vocation as a very real possibility for them. We need more priests and nuns I pray every day for him. I hope this helps answer
God bless.
Firstly, I am not Catholic and this is one of the reasons why.
Jesus Himself said that He is the ONLY way to the Father (John 14:6) So why do Catholics confess to priests and other people do not any more than they are?
And another thing: Jesus became the High Priest! (Hebrews 6:20) So what's the point of the priests?
One final note: I am not trying to offend you or anyone else, if I'm misinformed about Catholocism, then please tell me.
I am speculating here, I am not Catholic.
Maybe I was thinking along the lines of supply and demand. Maybe there is some kind of equation of how the man hired by a number of priests to obtain confessions. Kind of makes sense, right?
I know there a joke somewhere …
It used to be a Catholic. He is seeking assistance.
This is a line of bull that they are alone, since only broke with altarboys.
