You are correct. Christmas is an abbreviation for the words of Christ is the mass pagan in its origins, like Lent, and many other aspects of Catholicism, which combined Christianity and Babylonian paganism. It is believed by many that Jesus was born around the fall festival (August-October) and not on December 25. The only 'holiday' that God commands mentioned in the 2nd through the 5th book of the Bible. All that being said, do you celebrate Christmas? It's time for a year that my job allows me to stay home and get paid and I get to see my whole family and exchanging gifts. Does that make me a hypocrite? Well, yes in the eyes of some, but I do not think so. You must treat seriously the counsel of God to determine whether or not to continue the celebration as they are accustomed.

When words have different meanings, just because it "can" say something that does not mean "no" means something. Whatever we call it, Christmas is a time to honor the will of Christ came to earth in human form and live as part of eligibility to stay in and take the punishment for our sins. I was told when I was young - maybe wrongly - that "more" was of the Catholic service (mass).

It was originally "Saturnalia, a pagan festival. You may want to see that. Catholic paganism incorporated, as have countless things, making a false religion called Catholicism can not save anyone.

Christmas is Pagan. I think you are getting your misinformation and outdated books such as Two Babylons and Babylon Mystery Religion. The author of Babylon Mystery Religion, Ralph Woodrow, later retracted his work and wrote The connection Babylon. Unfortunately, he lost the rights to the first book and is still in print. This is what Woodrow says now: "No Christian who puts a bumper sticker with a fish symbol on the back of his car was done to honor the fish-god Dagon. Congregation did not put a cross in a church building with the intent to honor Tammuz. Christian has never been to an Easter sunrise worship Baal. Christian has a Christmas tree is venerated as an idol. Claims involving "all this started in Babylon," are not only unnecessary and divisive, which are false. " "Mass" in liturgical context can mean different things, such as "assembly" or "communion service." It can mean the dismissal of the congregation (as in the service later), but mass does not mean the death or dismissal of Christ. " In the case of Christmas, which means the celebration of the communion service of Christ. This is what Webster's Dictionary sayshttp: / / www.mw.com / dictionary / Mass Main Entry: Pronunciation: more features: noun Etymology: Middle English, from Old English maesse, modification of messages * vulgar Latin, literally, dismissal at the end of a religious service, from late Latin Missa, from Latin, feminine lady, past participle of send mittere Date: before 12th century 1capitalized: the liturgy of the Eucharist in particular in accordance with the traditional Latin rite 2often capitalized: a celebration of the Eucharist held in three <Sunday masses hours> 3: a musical for the Common of the Mass Saturnalia took place on December 27. Leon during times when Christians were persecuted, some Christians began to celebrate the birth of Christ in 25th place in December in protest. Ch'annukka The first was held on 25th December by the Western calendar, which is another reason the early Christians to celebrate it.

CJ is correct. And yes, Merry Christmas to result in: Happy Death Christ.I not celebrate mass it.And word was chosen by the RC "church" because of the doctrine of Transubstantiation.Incidentally.the Hocus Pocus phrase used to describe this practice as a pun on the Latin phrase pronounced by breaking the host and drink reading of the Gospels wine.Anyone can see the intention of the symbolic bread and papal authority wine. But when it is most appreciated that the Word of God, then anything goes.

Holidays are what you do. Honor what you choose to honor that day, not in honor of someone else on that day, or whatever other group honors millennia. Many people celebrate Christmas in a purely cultural sense, others in a purely religious sense. If you want to honor the birth of Christ, do not worry about what other Christians are doing, the Romans what they are doing or are pagan in or around that day. The fact that different faiths celebrate a holiday or about the same time does not make the same journey, even when the culture can be used to share the same name or some symbols. Make your holiday in a manner that is consistent and appropriate to their faith.
