Here is my understanding of prayer to Mary and Saints
(Note: this is my view of them and how to pray with them)
The best way I can explain my point of view of the prayer to Mary or the saints is the world "talk." Mary and I talk about my mother, but as a woman. She is the mother of Jesus, so that it is special and pure, but not worthy of adoration. Do not worship Mary in any manner or form. I do not think she can forgive me my sins and save my soul. God is the only one who can do it. I ask you to pray for me as well as I'd like to ask a family member to pray for me. (This does not mean that I should not ask God for my car) to speak to the Saints as I would like my close friends.
"The people are saints and angels in heaven" I ask you to pray for me, like how I wonder how one of my friends to pray for me.

Lord, this is a large amount of reference theological babble! between that and the pedophile priest scandal is no wonder that many churches have closed their doors?
Friend, Christ spoke clearly, clearly … His teachings do not really require teams armchair philosophers and theologians to blather about … He had two commandments to follow, and he said very clear and simple and we … We do not need the intercession between us and Christ, and He teaches them to pray — began with "Our Father" … as a Catholic, I know you're familiar with that … He did not say to pray to Mary, holy or whatever, or even through them … He prayed to God … how difficult it is to find out?

I think we are that no one understands. Jews and Christians should not "ask" anything from anyone, not on earth, except God. The only difference is that Christians believe Jesus is God. Can you honestly believe that Peter or Paul will attempt to contact Stephen, after his death, asking him for favors? This is the Roman way, where any person can be declared a god after his death. You are making a direct appeal to Almighty God, our Lord Jesus Christ, not human beings living or dead. The minute "Santa Ana" to the left of the planet, she was out of management.
Protestants do not understand why Catholics can not figure that one. It seems so simple for us.

Many Protestants are not reading this almost open, even remotely enough to see this.
Yes, Catholics do pray to the saints. Ask the saints to pray for them. In other words, intercession. One can call to request a prayer of a saint.
Catholics venerate and honor Mary and ask for your prayers for them, but not as a cult of their god, she is not. Only God is God. Therefore, asking her intercession. Again, this is a prayer request.

Say to people is a hot stove burner in just a few to stop touching to see. Some people are like cable. I think all of it, but I know that some will fight you. We all know that people fight over whether water is wet, the desert or hot.
Especially in this site, please do not be discouraged that there are so many pick up in their faith.

As lapsarian Catholic, I must say that doing a terrible job of presenting Catholic doctrine. All the "saints" are considered by the Church continued to be members of the Church and thus able to pray on behalf of others as living members of the Church. That is what "the communion of saints" means, Christians living and dead. Honor the Catholic saints (Dulia), a practical result of the veneration of martyrs departed in the early church. Mary worship is extra (hyperdulia) because of its intimate connection with Christ. None of them are "beloved" (Latvia), under any definition. "Pray" as a verb, has two very different meanings:
1: to make a request in a humble way
2: to address God or a god with adoration, confession, supplication, gratitude or

You are right, every religion in Latvia is the sense of God alone. All grace comes from God alone. Only Christ can save us.
