I thought the same question, I used to have a couple of friends who are Catholic and are suggested to solve a problem and spare anothers feelings that I said this is not good but I guess its okay to be Catholic, if anyone were wounded by the lies, like "little white lies."

I believe that Catholics worship a false idol. Mary is not really God. He did supposedly giving birth to the son of God, they say that it is God .. but I think we are breaking one of the 10 commandments of their religion.

Because Mary is especially pleased when the prayers are conducted through it to his son. Praying to Mary, the intention is for her to intervene on behalf of his son, Jesus.

He asked Catholics about it and tell me not pray to Mary, but have great respect for her because she gave birth to Jesus. I know that the Hail Mary to ask her to pray for them. But is not praying the Hail Mary with her? She may be dead in the body, but she is in heaven with Jesus, in spirit.

I have a problem with any Christian denomination, even if they have a slightly different tactics of my church, but there are some questionable issues that have come to my mind when it comes to Catholics. If you read the Bible when Jesus was teaching in the temple on the day of Mary could not find the man, who asked him where he had been and his answer was "A woman must be about my Fathers business." In all cases, when Jesus meets Mary, who always responded to her as "woman" and not the mother. The reason is because Mary is just a simple woman who was chosen to give birth to our Lord and Savior, because he had never been touched by a man and therefore it is considered pure. That's why the Bible refers to as an "Immaculate Conception". Mary, or any other woman, it is worth saying that Jesus was "mother", because Mary is a sinner saved by grace just like you and me and never intended to be viewed as a mediator between us and the Holy Jesus. Because of Jesus' position, if He had called his mother, was an indication that she would undergo. His work, but because it would come and preach the gospel away the sin of the world through His death, his work, like ours, was to submit to it. Therefore, it is inappropriate for any man to pray with her and asks her to pray to Jesus for us, because the Bible says that Jesus is our advocate in between God and us. Therefore, the only person we have to go to reach God is Jesus. Not, then Jesus Maria. I hope this helps.
P.S. This is no reflection on salvation, because in Catholic teaching that Jesus is the Son of God who died to remove the sins of the world that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, education is the right thing.
