Did you know that there are 2 types of contrition or repentance for sin, is perfect and is a pain due to?
damaging a more loving and holy God for our sins, the other is imperfect, is the pain of sin for fear of going to hell or be out of favor with God. If your'e a Catholic go to confession and should have one or the other, but when you go to God directly, without using the appoiinted minister cilliation reconstruction, then you should have perfect contrition, in order to be forgiven of their sin mortal. otherwise, if not go to confession, do you really telling God your sins and also the number of times it has been compromised? You first ask the humility necessary for a true confession? Or just assume and presume on God's forgiveness without even asking for it? I certainly hope not!
