Ex-Protestant: How many of you now were converted by the Catholic Eucharist (like me)?

It is the Eucharist, no doubt. I was well along in my research on the Catholic religion and RCIA class, and my mind was engaged, but there is still a part of me holding back a little less than full acceptance … until one day at Mass, to my surprise when I felt tears on my face after the Consecration. I think my soul recognized "My Lord and my God" in the Eucharist, and his response was pure joy, a response that, well aware, without my thinking on the matter, led to the physical reaction.
A few days later, our class has Eucharistic adoration. I was at a time in fear, and incredibly at home in this Presence.
I'm not describing very well at all, but even for a writer is not easy to put into adequate words. Joyous recognition that, with tears, it has happened occasionally since then - unplanned, unexpected. I say it is a grace, and I am sure that stili I'm not worth it, but there it is.

He converted to Christianity by example, that the Catholic people gave me. Then, the fullness of faith (especially the Eucharist) sealed the deal.
But it took me 20 years to study first. (I am a slow learner)
      Peace and God bless!

That could be one in betweener on this topic. I'm still a Protestant (although that really has more to do with relationships and communities that have built ties with the issues of theology). But one thing I really feel that I miss by not turning the Eucharist. But then again, I also feel I want to be cheated in a sense being a Catholic, and only receive communion in one kind. "
      Peace to you.

    Hello
I am a Catholic convert. The Eucharist is indeed what is at stake.
I can not even imagine now, not having access to the sacraments. I feel so blessed to be able to attend Mass and receive our Lord. It is truly a miracle.
