For Catholics ……….?

When Catholics go to confession this weekend and receive Holy Communion on Sunday, all the powers of this temporal and eternal punishment? Jesus told Sister Maria Faustina Kowolska? Any Catholics disagree with this idea? Was instituted by Pope JPII right?

    Hello crazyjay,
In answer to your question, as a sign of his love, Jesus called for a feast of divine mercy, which is celebrated throughout the church. Faustino's sister said 'I want this picture to be painted with a brush, to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Easter, that Sunday is the Feast of Mercy. that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. the soul that goes to confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. Mankind will not have peace until it becomes the source of my mercy! .
Yes I agree with her, the confession is good for the soul, I hope this helps crazyjay!

That's all irrelevant. Scripture is very clear and straightforward about this - there is no need for priests or special occasions: "… If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [1 John 1:9]

shirt bag is a full-ninth 9 days beginning on Friday. ninth day there, writing and teaching of reading, meditation and prayer time. JP2 accepted the teachings and understandings of Sister Faustina - this is not mandatory that does not speak ex catherda so there is no "law" at all and I understand. This Sunday, however, is becoming more widely known as Divine Mercy Sunday - this is what Faustina tried to teach and share - we are all bound to fall and the need of Christ under Divine Mercy - is so that everyone can be with Him.

6Jesus replied: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It is my understanding that we are forgiven, but it is also our belief that there is a place called purgatory where they are to be cleansed of our temporary stain of sin before they are in God's presence. God bless …
