For Roman Catholics question: Are you jealous of Islam?

Since the current Pope Benedict took office, has been criticizing Islam wrongly. First it is claimed, with the help of a little-known medieval Christian king, that Islam has nothing new in it except for militancy. When Muslims reacted and sensible Christians deplored, he initiated a dialogue between religions. But at the same time continued to criticize Islam. Sick and tired of your attacks, Dr. Zakir Naik has been challenged by a public debate. Until now he is silent.
I have also noted that the Roman Catholic clergy Jews readily accepted, despite knowing that rejected Jesus and refused even to accept his miraculous birth. They found no problem in accepting the Lord God as the Christian God father. But declare to Allah, God, while Muslims believe in the same God that Abraham worshiped. Do not show this Roman Catholic clergy is jealous of the Muslims.
Paul, who was admitted pagan beliefs in Christianity and nobody objected. Nobody asked who gave him the authority to annul the Torah's code of conduct that Jesus practiced throughout his earthly life.
By contrast Muhammad taught his disciples to question him about, including the source of their decrees. So when he issued a decree, asked his companions to the source and the support provided with a verse from the Koran. Because the Koran says: "Only Allah is the Creator and He alone has the right to legislate."
Muhammad was able to prepare 317 disciples who were with him in depth thick and thin and made it possible for him to challenge the powerful Arab chieftains. Compare this with 12 disciples of Jesus Christ, one of them committed high treason and the other denied the same night he was arrested. I wonder, when the Papacy will realize that you can not wish away the Islam, which has become the largest denomination, beating Roman Catholics? No power on earth can destroy Islam, so what is the fun in undue criticism? Why not live amicably and peacefully and try to make the world a peaceful place?

I think his criticism of Christianity are valid as far as that goes, but they are biased by their zeal for Islam (as its "information" to comment "The Carmelites" shows). Moreover, it has sugar-coated and Islam (especially) Muhammad.
I am in my second reading of the Koran. I keep hearing about how Islam is a religion of peace. Sorry, the suras, in general, do not support this assertion. Islam is a religion of submission and domination. The abject subjugation of women and the continued practice of dhimmitude are clear proof of the true nature of Islam.
Muhammad brought the wrath of Allah to their fellow Arabs, the conversion of most of them by threat or by the edge of the sword. That is a fact of history that remains to be confirmed by the Koran. Why not faithful Muslims around the world follow the example of Muhammad is not the Arabs?
Come to think of it, when I watch CNN news, it seems modern Muslims are following the example of Muhammad. . .

  2. bartzbra says:

Nope. In fact, I believe that Islam is the "community" of religion, seeing as how you're willing to kill the infidels and those who are unwilling to convert.
If you think the Pope was constantly criticizing Islam, then I think we're paranoid and thin skin.

Javed Iqbal! Javed Iqbal! In many Muslim countries, Catholics are replaced with the word of God with Allah! Please do your research before you start this rant!

One would think that would be the envy of Muslims get unlimited access to virgins when they blow themselves up.

Short answer: yes. They also are afraid that because Islam is growing weaker, while Christians are outside of their faith

  13. The Carmelite says:

So, as of late …. under a rock? The Vatican has just completed a major symposium with Islam - both parties were very pleased with the outcome. Lots of ground covered.
Pope Benedict XVI did not seem the appointment, said a couple of years ago - and gave it to someone else to make a repeated point. The Muslim nation was outraged and over-reaction. After that ugly, even moderate Muslims agree that the U.S. certainly not involved in any unrest after it was discovered that the terrorists who were Muslims were pilots hijack September 11, 2001. Did the Americans or Catholics come together and denounce Islam? No. Did we participate in the riots and killing someone? No.
We know that when the pop artist Madonna wanted to do a show that represents itself as the crucified Christ, Islam protested loudly in our name Catholic (thanks by the way!).
As a very devout Catholic, I see nothing at all wrong with Islam itself. It's a good religion. However, for me spiritually, I need a Savior that "been there, done that" I need the grace and sacraments and the Eucharist … and not to choose Islam for the expression of my faith. This does not mean, however, that Islam is somehow defective. Simply does not meet my needs of tangibles. Then again, I do it every day on the "send" myself to the will of the Father as did Abraham, the Virgin Mary and Jesus and Muhammad (pbuh). Look beyond perceived slights. Subscribe to the Vatican's daily newsletter via email … you will keep up to date on the Islamic-Vatican relations. Take a look at as Univerisites Catholic Georgetown in DC They have a great center for Muslim-Catholic understanding. Other Catholics have such large centers as well. In fact, a Catholic priest is a priest, Fr. John Esposito (founder of the center of Georgetown) winderful who wrote a book about Islam. It's called unholy War: Terror in the Name of Islam. Muslims love and give as gifts to other Muslims. This is a great compliment to a Catholic priest.

    No, not jealous of Islam.
Debate follows a winner and a loser. Dialogue that they are all winners.
Dialogue between Muslims and Catholics have been going on for over a decade. This is not something new.
The Catholic Church teaches, "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place among whom are the Muslims, who profess to have the faith of Abraham, and together with us adore the one God The judge mankind on the last day. "
"It is my ardent hope that Muslim and Christian religious leaders and teachers present our two great religious communities as communities in respectful dialogue, never more as communities in conflict."
      - Pope John Paul II, the meeting with Muslim leaders in the Umayyad Mosque, Damascus, May 6, 2001. http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_p
Christians and Muslims, following their respective religions, point to the truth of the sanctity and dignity. This is the basis of our mutual respect and esteem, this is the basis for cooperation in the service of peace among nations and peoples, the dearest wish of all believers and all people of goodwill.
As an illustration of the fraternal respect with which Christians and Muslims can work together, I would like to quote some words addressed by Pope Gregory VII in 1076 to a Muslim prince in North Africa who had acted with great benevolence towards the Christians under his jurisdiction. Pope Gregory spoke of the particular charity that Christians and Muslims need each other "because we believe in one God, albeit in a different way, and because he praise and worship him every day as the Creator and Governor of the World .

  15. St_Biolo says:

Boy, you're a hypocrite transparent, quoting Paul when it suits their purpose stupid. I say what Paul says:
"8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, be eternally condemned! 9AS already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching a gospel other than what you accept, be eternally condemned! "Galatians 1
Now say the world stupid angel story and the revelation of their own.
Tell everyone what you say about the Mormons, who do the same thing: Angel, special book, gold spectacles.
      PURE FRAUD!

  16. Pascal Baylon says:

For your "prophet" backup of your own authority, using verses from the book he had written? Wow. You know the meaning of the phrase "circular logic"?
His Holiness said medievel a king in a speech that has nothing to do with Islam, but to do with the use of logic and faith. Traditionally, Muslims in the east.
You are an honor given in the Catechism, it says that makes it a real worship to the Creator. Just do it in a way that calls or is pleased with. Islam, Christianity began when Muhammed confused. Could have been a great saint, he actually had spread the true religion. Rather than confuse you got it, twisted and perverted into what Islam is today.
No. I'm not jealous of twisted half truths that have stolen my religion and became a very admired by Satan. Pity that Muslims, especially women.

    1) Question for Roman Catholics: Are you jealous of Islam?
Oh, yes. They are * really * jealous of Islam! Keep the hope that some suicide bombers will * Catholic religion the same notoriety that some Islamic extremists are giving Islam.
      2) Sick and tired of your attacks, Dr. Zakir Naik has been challenged by a public debate. Until now he is silent.
Judging by its first paragraph, are not the slightest bit jealous of Islam. I actually sounds like the truth is the opposite - they want no part of it.
      3) However, to declare that Allah, God, while Muslims believe in the same God that Abraham worshiped. Do not show this Roman Catholic clergy is jealous of the Muslims.
Definitely does not show such a thing. Which shows that they believe that the God worshiped by Muslims is not the God of Abraham. Instead of "jealousy" I would call it something along the lines of "despite" or "dislike" - very different from "jealousy".
      4) No one was asked who gave him the authority to annul the Torah's code of conduct that Jesus practiced throughout his earthly life.
Yes, yes. Obviously have not read the Bible. Here's your chance, though - just a short chapter, and it was Peter, not Paul, who presented the dilemma for the Council of 12 Jerusalem.http: / / http://www.studybibleforum.com / htm_php.p …
      5) In contrast Muhammad taught his disciples to question him about, including the source of their decrees. So when he issued a decree, asked his companions to the source and the support provided with a verse from the Koran.
Let me get this straight (no lack of intent): Muhammad taught that the Koran - which dictate - had to be compared to anything that makes you to see if it was issued valid in light of what he dictated. I do not have that right?
      6) I wonder, when the Papacy will realize that you can not wish away the Islam
I think we figured that during the Crusades.
7), as has become the largest denomination, beating Roman Catholics?
Barely. I have studied various statistics - Catholics have at least several hundred million more members than any Islamic sect.
      8) No power on earth can destroy Islam, so what is the fun in undue criticism?
Does anyone say that was fun? What is the point of this seemingly useless?
      9) Why not to live amicably and peacefully and try to make the world a peaceful place?
I agree - but, in reality, the Pope made no mention lead to violence?
      10) blatant lies and mere allegations of a person as high as
      His holiness?
      Well
      a) evidence of "blatant lies"?
      b) What's wrong with "mere allegations"?
11), but no right to accuse or judge to Islam.
In fact, in most countries, people have that right. Just as you seem quite content with the right to accuse and judge Roman Catholicism.
      12) You may also be aware that conspiracies are being carried out to establish the Christians against Muslims, so that fighting each other the two great religions and perish in Jerusalem the third contestant wins by default.
That could be - but I'm not. Nope. Definitely not aware that one. Nosireee, first I've heard of the conspiracy …
