For example, philosophy, history, psychology and theology are good subjects to concentrate on his studies at university.   4) Enroll in a seminar after college graduation to pursue a master's in divinity. This degree usually takes about 3 to 4 years to complete and focuses on the study of theology. Some seminars will also allow you to enter a program for 8 years just outside the secondary school where both his Bachelor's and Master.   5) Serve as a deacon after graduation from seminary. This position is considered an internship for the office of priest and usually takes about 6 months time.
