How do I get someone to go to confession?

I have a friend that doesn't want to go. But I say she should. But she always makes up excuses, why not go

If you have ever been to confession, for any reason you, how you feel this. Are you willing to share their reasoning with their confession of what she can hear examples of good feelings about. The other is to decide whether she wants to go and trust him. Good luck! X

Repent, through prayer where ever you are. True repentance is a change of heart (mind). Christ is able.
If you go to confession you are following the traditions of men.
Isaiah 29:13 Therefore the Lord said: Because this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

if she doesn't want to go, but nag, and she probably will not be honest with the priest, that is a sin, so be it. I am Catholic too.

Since I am not catholic, i dont think you have to go confess your sins to a preist or who. didn't you sin against the priest, but God so why should you have to confess their sins to the preist? he is a sinner like all of us. however, I think your friend should just confess to God because He is the one who can forgive, but not the preist. (or anyone to confess to you.)

The only condition for forgiveness is repentance.
If your friend is not repentant, he / she can not be forgiven.

Always encourage your friends and family for good. Be patient and wait and pray for them. You can not make go away. She confessed that she can feel everything you need in your own God. I do not think you have to go to the priest. Jesus is a mediator between us and God. We must pray in Jesus' name. I agree that sometimes you have to confess in public. In general, I think that if you sin publicly and caused embarrassment to the church or other Christians that their sins must be confessed to them, or if it's something important that can not be overcome, so they can pray for you.
