I was raised Catholic but now only go to church occasionally and Havent been to confession for years.
I have a problem with going to confession - I have not sinned, but I'm terrified. I also add about depression and medication. Could it be?

I know that you can not blame the missing mass and confession on ADD. My older sister is medicated for ADD and she goes to Mass every Sunday.
I do not think you understand enough about what terrifies the confession? If the confession is too restrictive for you, can make an appointment with a priest in his office. If face to face confessions are the thing that bothers you, then go to confession in a parish that has confessionals. If you are afraid to confess to his priest, and then head to a different parish where nobody knows you. And go more often. When a month is much easier and shorter and much less intimidating.
Also, just up and go to church you do not have that much concentration to wash, brush teeth, get dressed and go to a Catholic church in time for Mass.
Read your Bible carefully and studiously, and you will realize that Christ is our High Priest, and nobody is obliged to intercede for their confessions. The Holy Spirit is there to guide, not a Catholic priest.
Do not worry. Accountable to yourself. It's one thing to sin child all day and think that everything will be OK, if you enter a small box with Pete-O-File.
If you really had no sin, you would not be terrified of going to confession.
If any of these potentially sinful acts have nothing to do with ADD, depression, and medication, it reduces the guilt (their responsibility) for sin.
In other words, God takes into account the likelihood that you would not have committed certain sins, if not suffer from ADD, depression, and what the side effects of medication have.
If / when you go to confession, be sure to tell the priest about their conditions. Conditions such as these can change things much.
i was raised the same, but Havent attended a mass in 4-5 years. i tell people im a Catholic when asked about my religious affiliatiob. not required to improve the practice is particularly grave. I just want to live my life ..
i wouldnt feel guilty for my sins, unless his grave.
not be depressed. is a sign of a weak person, that carefree LADIES and return to the list of reggae, or just visiting the Philippines. get a hint natives know how to live without worry, despite being a truly disgusting place and country. Most people are happy.
Well, you must go and tell the priest, but finding one who understands, because not everyone does.
That will help a lot. You should find a good spiritual advisor
To myangel:
It appears that you do not know that in confession, we confess to God directly. The priest is only a instrumenst.
It is Jesus who listens and forgives, not the priest.
Why not confess to God directly and not to cure? Because there are certain rules to be followed. For example, in case of theft, which must return stolen. In some other sins, to do penance and do something to get forgiveness.
If you are married. but not by the Church, the Church must marry first in order to be forgiven
If you get into a confessional claustrophobia that would cause fear. You do not have to use the confessional. You can sit at a table of the priest and talk to him.
That could cause you to feel uncomfortable. My Catholic Church is a time to go to confession when you forgive your sins, and not do what you say to a priest. You should check to see if your church offers!
Why does it have to confess to a man? Why not confess to God close?
