If I allowed the Catholic Religion priests to marry the child Molestations be reduced?
Priests, religious brothers and religious sisters (nuns) as part of their vocation not to marry following:
+ The recommended practice in the Bible
+ The example of Jesus Christ, John the Baptist and the apostle Paul.
+ + + + + + Book
+ In Matthew 19:12, Jesus says: "Some are incapable of marriage because they were born, some because they were made so by others, some because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven . Whoever can accept this should accept it to. "
Jesus said that celibacy is a gift from God and whoever can bear to bear. Jesus praises and recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church. Because celibacy is a gift from God, those who criticize the practice of the Church of God, celibacy and criticize this wonderful gift that gives to his elect.
+ In Matthew 19:29, Jesus says, "And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. "
Who gives to the children for the sake of His name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. Jesus praises celibacy when it is done for the sake of his kingdom.
+ Matthew 22:30 - Jesus explains: "In the resurrection neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels in heaven."
In heaven there is no marriage. Bring Jesus to reign on earth, priests living heavenly consecration to God by not having a wife in marriage. In this way, priests are able to focus exclusively on the spiritual family, and no more pressure of the biological family (which is for the vocation of marriage). This also makes it easier for priests to be transferred to different parishes where they are most needed without having to worry about the effects of their transfer to the wife and children.
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:1, Paul writes: "It's a good thing for a man not to touch a woman."
This is an option for Catholic priests of the Roman rite freely.
+ Then in 1 Corinthians 7:7, Paul says, "Indeed, I want everyone to be like I am."
Paul acknowledges that celibacy is a gift from God and wishes that all were celibate like he is.
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:27, Paul writes, "Are you free from a wife? Then do not look for a woman. "
Paul teaches that men are not looking for marriage. According to Paul, marriage introduces worldly temptations that can interfere with the relationship with God, specifically in relation to those who become full-time ministers in the Church.
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:32-33, Paul teaches, "I want to be free of concerns. An unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how you can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, how can please his wife. "And in verse 38," Then, he marries his virgin does well, do not marry her will do better. "
Paul recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church so that they can concentrate fully on the creation of God and his kingdom. "The couple who abstains from doing better."

Biblical models of a celibate clergy came from John the Baptist, Jesus and the apostle Paul.
John the Baptist and Jesus are both believed to have been celibate all his life. Some scholars believe that the example of the Essenes influenced either or both Jesus and John the Baptist in their celibacy.
WWJD? What Would Jesus? Jesus did not marry.
The Apostle Paul is explicit about his celibacy (cf. 1 Cor. 7). There is also evidence in the Gospel of Matthew for the practice of celibacy among at least some of the early Christians, in the famous passage about becoming "eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:12).
The concept took many twists and turns in recent years and probably a bit more before Christ returns in glory.
A priest is "married" with the Church. Some people think that a priest who takes his duties seriously can not take good care of his wife and family. "A man can not serve two masters."
This is a close-minded. How many teachers are caught with students? to send their children to school? how many whites commit murder? still talk to white people do not you? How many black people steal? even speak to black people? Stereotype does not look so ignorant as this issue
What a small minority that does not mean everyone else too.
There are child molestors, murderers, kidnappers, etc.. around the world regardless of what religion or where the backround.
There are teachers of God for the good that exploits children .. is not about religion, it is the individual.
Catholic clergy are less likely to commit sexual abuse than any clergy
- Should The Bible wind Command not Catholic priests marry? Read 1Tim 4:3-4?
- Why the Catholic Church insist that all priests and bishops must be celibate?
- Should Catholic priests marry? There is no harm in this.
- Should Catholic priests marry? There is no harm in this.
- Why Nuns Just as Catholic priests are not allowed to have sex?

Oh for crying out loud, by analogy to all men to be celibate pedophiles or have pedophile tendencies. DO NOT make a difference not a pedophile is a pedophile with his mental illness, I do not care what the religion of life / faith status they are. All have the same sick mentality. As for that celibacy has nothing to do with pedophilia, and while we're on the subject, statistics show that it is more common among the Protestant denominations still a small percentage as in the case of priests is a small percentage (the media focus on it more and a large Catholic church denomninations no 39000). Statistics also show that the most prevalent within the schools and families sad but true and I, and any other decent human being we want to completely remove this!.
No, I do not think that the statistics are going down. Many child molesters and serial rapists have families. There are men who harass their children. I think that should be your best selection and all allegations must be investigated thoroughly. The only thing the numbers are set to try and not give them probation or a slap on the wrist. Many criminals get one or two years imprisonment and / or parole. This is a horrible crime, but more often the punishment is a slap on the wrist. A person is much harder to kick the dog or shooting a goose out of season for annoying a child. America needs better priorities.
Of course not, priestly celibacy is why it is less the sexual abuse among Catholic clergy than any other clergy. Protestant clergy can marry and incidence of sexual abuse is more than 15 times higher. Logic dictates, according to statistics that married clergy are more likely to abuse that the clergy celibate. The fact is that children are extremely rare now and the screening molestations by priests is intensive in order to prevent abuse. God bless!

Of course not. Pederast are pedophiles, whether married or not. In case you do not notice, Catholic priests have the same opportunity to get involved sexually with adults, as they do with children - if not more.

José Joel are right and why insist that it is only in the Catholic Church that had happened. Look around you my friend, is in all spheres of life and also in schools, where buses. Give it a rest!
I know all the priests and religious, are very sacred and people are struggling to stay pure and true of these terrible things that have happened in our faith. And my prayers and praises those who carry out his collar in public, with all these criticisms to go around. They are the true defenders of our faith. And much respected in my book. Do not condemn the lot more than a few bad seeds. And the last I heard of Jesus is the only one who can judge! God bless.
If being celibate is why priests molested children, why are married people who annoy the kids? Why ministers, Methodists, Jews, etc. .. Rabbi of sexual abuse? Celibacy and sexual abuse have no connection. Sometimes there are only sick people out there.
No I do not think that anyone who molests a child is sick and there are plenty of married people who have done this too. Being a celibate priest and had nothing, repeat nothing to do with it.
Love and God bless you
Kate
Why? normal men who practice celibacy NO to turn the children of sexual performance. These people are deranged. The answer is no. Married men are more prone to disturbed children.
sure to let the men who marry are attractive to some children fully grown adult women, make sure thatll Arnt attracked little children and
please
NO. A pedophile is a sexual attraction to children. Sex and a relationship with an adult is not going to change that.
No!
No, I do not think so.
No, I think (it is the priests) have problems to start. The rape of the young is only a symptom. Would find some other way to do nano ball.
Easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle, which the Catholic Church to wake up the modern world.
idk depends on what causes the priests to go after children. If your sexual repression, then the marriage might help. Otherwise, hard to say.
Maybe if they were allowed to be taken out of sexual frustration released some so wouldnt have to take it out of little children.
Seems reasonable. But the priests, and no one else disturbed that children should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Yes I think so.
