If I go to a Catholic Church Can Worship God alone and Jesus Christ instead of praying to Mary?

I am a Christian and I just pray to God and his only begotten Son Jesus Christ who died and paid for my sins. But the Catholic church to spend time singing to Mary. The easiest thing is that if I violate Christianity sing to Mary. What if I'm going to a Catholic church and Catholic Christians say they think they are?

    Come and see, Jenny.
The Catholic mass is only about the Lord. There is no prayer to Mary. She is barely mentioned.
The Catholic church does not spend time singing to Mary … Sometimes we sing about Mary if it is a day of remembrance of her, like the day we remember that the angel told him to take the baby Jesus, but the context is always about Christ coming to earth.
Come and see, Jenny. We will not try to convert you. You can sit in the back and take notes. Take notes on what songs are on. Take notes on how much they read Scripture. Take notes on what the priest said. Take notes on the Gospel message is very clear during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. And do, please count the number of times you hear the name "Maria."
Come on, Jenny. You can go see for yourself and report the truth here. Go to Mass this Sunday (I am sure that there is a mass held at a time when you can still go to church regularly, too.). Bring a friend if you're scared. Take your notebook.
Come and see … come and see for yourself …

First Catholics are Christians and have been for two thousand years, secondly there is no obligation to pray to Mary. We ask Mary and the saints to pray for us, we pray to God directly and Worship alone. Yes that would be very welcome in the Catholic Church around the world are welcome to Universal.
We do pray directly to Jesus, why ask for prayers or to say prayers for the family and friends (or intercede on their behalf)?. INTERCESSION ask to be called Mary and the saints to pray for us just to ask a relative or friend to pray for you. We pray to God directly and Worship God, not just the Saints or Mary.
Bibilical And here are some referance Thus, in Psalm 103, which read, "Bless the Lord, oh to his angels, that the powerful make his word, hearkening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will! "(Psalm 103:20-21). And in the opening verses of Psalms 148 we pray, "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord of the heavens, praise him in the highest! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, his welcome to all! "
Not only those in heaven pray with us, but also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each with a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of saints "(Rev. 5:8). Thus the saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.
Angels do the same thing: "[An] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer, and was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all saints to the altar gold before the throne and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God "(Rev. 8:3-4).
Catholics and Orthodox Worship God and only God
Mary is not dead "it is no longer in this world," but she is in heaven. I will give you a simple example that even in the RV. When Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus killed? NO!. We do pray directly to God and Worship, but we ask the saints and the intercession of Mary "To pray for us."

If someone other than the worship of God is Adolat a business and not in a Catholic Church. You can not violate the Christian to do what we do Catholics because Catholicism is the original, pure and complete Christianity. You can violate Protestantism, but that is not the same as violating Christianity.

  4. Marysia says:

so it apparently has never been a Catholic mass, because Mary is mentioned only once in the body and is in the Nicene Creed. If the Gospel is about Mary and the Book and I will not say it can not happen. If you want to make sure that the Scriptures about Mary can not see even before you go to church. It is published so as to attend mass for 3 years has been read the entire Bible! In the month of May is often a song to Mary during the Mass in which we show our gratitude to God for giving us Mary as an example such wonderful, kind Jesus listened to his even though it was not time. However, even then not pray TO MARIA JESUS BUT ONLY GOD and sacrifice of the Eucharist.
I do not know where you got the wrong idea about the Mass, but that only goes to show - sometimes people do not share the truth with us and then when we speak of it as a truth - that they often learn a valuable lesson. These next 40 days, especially before Easter is very solemn time to reflect on Christ in our lives.

  5. Tracker says:

Praying to God through Jesus. Nobody is forcing anyone to pray in the Catholic Church. Anyone can attend, but usually you have to adhere to Catholic to receive communion and other rituals that only "confirmed" can participate in.

  16. Wolfebla says:

Jenny, the Catholic Church does not require you to ask for their intercession of Mary or sing or do anything that violates their conscience too scrupulous. Nothing to sing Mary violate its high-false notions of Christianity, but you are free to do whatever you want.
And you will find (if you can be bothered to listen to what you say, that is), that Catholics worship only God and Jesus. We do not worship Mary but honor and respect on his part for which he played with our Savior in this world.
And there's nothing to say or think about our Christianity. * * We are Christians, if people like you, CJ, in any incarnation is now collected, and other Catholic haters like it or not.
      Edit:
Please re-read your Bible. It says that Christ is our only Intercessor, or at least not in my Bible, and I have many translations. It does say that Jesus is our only Mediator. . . and there is a huge difference between the two.
Christ is our only mediator or lawyer, "if you will, on the question of salvation. That is because He is the one who pays the debt of our sins on the cross, and He is the only one who can say to the Father: "I have been careful what should this person, so are not guilty." That mediates the conflict between God that justice should be satisfied and us sinners who can not pay our debt on our own, and he brings the whole matter to a satisfactory conclusion for both parties.
An intercessor is one who prays for another person and asks God to help them. Thinking in terms of a family friend who knows the boss and can put in a good word for someone who is applying for a job. Any believer can be an advocate - his mother, a friend at church, or even a complete stranger. But there can be only one mediator, and that is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
By the way, if you can not say "Jesus is Lord" but by the Holy Spirit (and I have recognized several times here that Jesus is my Lord and Savior), which I do not - you cry - a Christian?

  17. Aleria says:

First, only the worship of God and Jesus Christ. We pray for the intercession of Mary and the saints and angels, but they do not worship.
Let me see … A Catholic church has about 5 or 6 songs (at most) sung. It takes about 15 minutes of our Mass. One of the songs * can * be a Mass for Mary normal is around 3 days of the year that we give more attention to Mary that normally, but God is never more.
That leaves 45 minutes of the Mass:
      - We come in, and pray to God for the forgiveness of our sins.
      - Listen to the readings (a reading of the Old Testament, New Testament, a reading and a Gospel reading)
      - Sing Psalms (ie between the first and second reading and the Gospel and the second reading)
      - A homily given
      - We ask God, to God.
      - We are in the path of consecration
      - We are on our knees in prayer to God.
      - We stand and recite the Lord's Prayer
      - We are on our knees in prayer once again
      - We receive the Eucharist
      - We pray more
      - We say a closing prayer and closed with another song about the goodness of God and we go.
I've been Catholic for 11 years. The only time "to spend time with Mary church singing" Christmas is over and is on the birth of Christ and, therefore, Mary is part of the song, the Assumption of Mary (usually only one or two songs) and the Immaculate Conception.
      That's it.
We are Christians. A Christian is someone who follows Jesus Christ and believes that it is Lord and Savior, that we do.
You will not violate Christianity if they sing about Mary. You are confusing it with prayer and song of worship. To pray means "ask" and nothing else. All worship is prayer, but not all prayer is worship. Singing songs of worship is not so much.
If we are so horrible and obviously not a Christian, then do not go to Catholic mass

  18. rebecca_ says:

Stop going to a Catholic church, and go to a church that follows the teaching of the Word of God, instead of teaching men.
To pray to idols and to teach that there is a "between" place after death called Purgatory. These teachings are contrary to the Word of God.
      Leviticus 19:4
Will ye not then turn to the idols, nor make molten gods for you: I am the Lord your God.
      Leviticus 26:1
You do not taxed, nor will the image of idols, or to stand back a picture, or you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow to him because I am the Lord your God.
      Revelation 20:13
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and all were judged by their works.
There is no such thing as purgatory, according to the Word of God.

  19. danelius says:

not only that they are not obliged to pray for Mary, the Bible says we should only pray to the Father through Jesus
      he is the only intermediary
can a Catholic, please explain why you do not adhere to this command?
      * Edit very well, the revelation that the Scripture mentions the prayers of the saints, but it says that we must pray through them, but in that case, which directly contradicts the command encountered before, and there is no evidence to suggest that command is a replacement - either contradicts itself or its interpretation is incorrect

  20. Happily Married to my Prince! says:

Identify what the Bible says about prayer to God only. It says nothing about prayer to Mary. Of course it will not change his mind but also can not force you to worship Mary. I want to start a Christian church.
