If Mary, the Mother of Jesus was without sin, as stated by the Catholic faith, then why …?
Why does it say Mary?
Mary said: "And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior" (Luke 1:47).
Although it was very blessed, and no doubt a pious woman, she still needed a savior. Contrary to Catholic teaching that Mary was without sin, Mary itself admitted that God was their savior. A person without sin does not need a savior. It is in the person of Jesus said that the grace and truth (and under), our example and our eyes should remain on him.
Furthermore, it is Jesus who is the model of virtue, not Mary.
Nowhere in Scripture are we told in the eyes of someone other than the Lord himself. We are told to fix our eyes on Jesus the author and perfect our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
So why not accept the Catholic Church that Mary was actually a human being like you and me and in fact have sinned?
- What do Muslims think about Mary, the Mother of Jesus and Jesus himself?
- Catholic Teachings About Mary, the mother of Jesus?
- Some Catholics may Tell me why a place of worship of Mary Mother of Jesus?
- Why not Deny Orthdox Excluding Chrstians Catholic Church of Our Lady called Mary Mother of God?
- Dear Catholic excuse …. Sarcasm But if Mary was without sin (cont.)?

The word of God lets us know how they feel about the glorification of Jesus Maria, Luke 11:27-28, "… a woman … raised his voice and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare you, and that the PAP has sucked. " Jesus answerered it, yes rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it. "
She was free of original sin, the sin of Adam and Eve. That does not mean she could not or did not sin in your life. There are different types of sin.
God! She was not sinless! Everyone who is born of man and woman (ie, sperm from the man) was born in sin. They have a sinful nature. Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit, and it came from the womb of Mary, but she was a virgin and conceived by the Holy Spirit - He is God! (John 1:1)
Mary is not God, and she was a normal human being like the rest of us. The Catholic Church, if they do teach is to teach this false doctrine that I know are high and pray that she is wrong because the Bible says that Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. Jesus is the only one without sin, our only Savior. Praise Him!
She is showing its respect for God.
Oh joy, is "Whack-a-Catholic" Monday here? I'm mighty sick and tired of having to explain something that could have been answered by 5 minutes of Google search for the six jillion similar questions already asked.
Obviously, you have made up your mind that you're right, and nothing any of us Catholics say they will change what you think. We can explain the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception and the logistics of sending God, His pure and holy Son Sin in a dirty stained vessel until they are blue in the face. We put thought and effort into our positions (as opposed to a pair of cut and paste the queens who love to bash the Catholics), only to be told we are liars.
So if you want to know what we have already said on this topic, learning how to use the damn search function. Enough already.
This is a difficult concept, and many may not agree with the solution.
The solution is something like this: Mary, a creature who under normal circumstances, have shared in the sin of Adam - what we call original sin - the only remedy for that is the salvation wrought by Jesus. But God, in preparation for his own incarnation, have not become a sin in the flesh. References to the Old Testament, the Ark of the Covenant which is made of incorruptible wood are exercised in support of this. According to this typology, Mary, the "ark", home to Jesus, to be incorruptible an even greater degree.
The standard verse in support sinlessness of Mary is the greeting of the angel: "Full of Grace" at the annunciation. If Mary is sinful, then how is it full of grace, at the same time?
Redemption is not seen as an event that happened in the kingdom only temporary. While there was a time and place, its effects were in eternity - stretching (as we would like the experience) back and forth in time. Then Mary was preserved from sin as a favor (gift) for her, which prevented him from being born in sin, as every other human being. Therefore, she was preserved from sin, not by merit Herr, but in a gesture of preventive Father awaiting the remption acquired by the eternal Son.
Original sin, if a pit dug by Adam in which all human beings fall, then the state of Mary was sinless half of which was prevented by the fall in the abyss of mercy and grace of God.
Complicated, the way the truth can be compicated. Believe it or not.
say, sinless people do not need a savior is a false statement. However, he was demonstrating his devotion to the Son of God. nothing wrong with that, "without sin" or not.
Mary also needs a Savior. Like all other descendants of Adam, which was subject to the necessity of contracting original sin. But for a special intervention of God in the moment it was conceived, was preserved from the stain of original sin and its consequences. It was therefore redeemed by the grace of Christ, but in a special way by the forecast.
Consider an analogy: Suppose a man falls into a deep pit, and someone comes to pull him. The man has been "saved" from the pit. Now imagine walking by a woman, and she is about to fall into the pit, but at the same time she is falling into someone's back and prevents her. She has also been saved from the pit, but an even better: She was not simply out of the pit, he was prevented from reaching stained by the mud in the first place. This is the illustration of the Christians have used for a thousand years to explain how Mary was saved by Christ. By the grace to receive Christ in his conception, his grace was given before she was able to become mired in sin and their original spots.
But what about Romans 3:23, "all have sinned"? All persons who have committed actual sins? Consider a child below the age of reason. By definition, can not sin, since sinning requires the ability to reason and the ability to intend to sin. This is indicated by Paul later in the letter to the Romans when he speaks of the time when Jacob and Esau were unborn babies as a time when "had done nothing either good or bad" (Rom. 9:11) .
We also know of another very prominent exception to the rule: Jesus (Hebrews 4:15). Therefore, if the statement of Paul in Romans 3 includes an exception for the new Adam (Jesus), one can argue that an exception to the New Eve (Mary) can also be done.
Now you ask - why use a sinner 'ship' to be free of sin?
DO Catholics admit that Mary is truly human and that she needed me and be saved from original sin. I think she just received her salvation at the beginning of their life, so that it can be the mother of God incarnate.
The Bible indicates that this in Luke 1:28, when the angel greets Mary, "Hail, Ye that have received the fullness of grace." Well, that's not a perfect translation, but if they studied Greek, you'd see that it is a title used to address it. And what does it mean that you have received the fullness of grace - the fullness of grace? It means to be completely absolved of all sin. As you can see, Maria was already fully absolved by Christ our Savior, and well, too. Imagine being the mother of Jesus and is not fully protected and acquitted of all sin! Oh, the selfishness, greed that have arisen in it!
You are correct that Jesus is the model of virtue, but Mary is not so bad itself. His faith in Christ is absolutely perfect and no one can do badly to emulate in this regard.
Mary always points to Jesus (which is how we know that Mary is not negative and spirit). So if anyone sees Mary for help, which will be directed to Christ.
Why not be a little more forgiveness for us Catholics? We really is not as bad as you think you are.
The name of the Messiah YAHOSHUA which means YHVH is my Savior. That's probably what it really says Maria.
Mary was right, the church doctrine and its hard to change the religion of the doctrine.
If you do not comment on why you are Catholic someone elses belief system.
When and where in the Bible says that Jesus was not right to do that?
HE didn't and if they are so stuck on getting the right BIGOT SER is not the way to do it.
You do not have the courage to make that comment about the Jewish religion. Can attack Catholics.
A Nazi is a Nazi is a Nazi.
A true way to God is not necessary to topple anyone. It's like in your own truth> IF the preacher needs to attack others to build themselves, then just DONT GET IT>
Fundamentalists' main reason for objecting to the Immaculate Conception of Mary and the consequent sinlessness is that we are told that "all have sinned" (Rom. 3:23). Moreover, they say, Mary said her "spirit rejoices in God my Savior" (Luke 1:47), and only a sinner needs a Savior.
Take the second quote in the first place.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that she was "redeemed in a more exalted by reason of the merits of his Son" (CCC 492). She has more reason to call God their Savior for us, because he saved her in an even more glorious!
Of course Mary and need a savior. God saved her by without original sin. She did not do so on their own. This video of a friend of the Immaculate Conception explained very well.
These are issues as it relates to certain aspects of Catholicism that causes me to be a "Christian" Attend a non-denominational church. I've had "issues" with Catholicism lil time .. idolatry .. etc
Always question those who want to lead ..

Wow, I just saw the youtube video appearing above the girl and say that since it is not a euphemism. Jesus could not have been born of a woman who has original sin, but all other sins committed between her immaculate conception and the conception of Jesus is not important? Therefore, God can take away the original sin in our will, but He refuses to do so? There is so much wrong in this belief that they do not even know where to start, so no. Keep on believeing what you want about Mary, but the truth is, original sin and that he had made to his mother!
Jesus was born in a manger, because she was a sinner! her pregnancy was beyond what would have been if he had married and got pregnant after she was married. so the family would allow shameful sinner in his home. who had not planned to have the baby in the manger
"Hail, full of grace" — this is what the angel Gabriel told her greeting when — not very supportive of one sort or grass or something like that said — — full of grace was immaculately conceived as God, who is in control of time, apply the fruits of their sacrifice before she was born to be a good mother to her child. Do you doubt the power of God?
Bernadette of Lourdes, France Subireau listened with his own mouth that she was the "Immaculate Conception" look at all the miracles that have come to Lourdes as a guarantee of this is from God.
The Scriptures say that God told them: "I will put enmity between thee and the woman" — that is the woman who was speaking, because its seed was crushed head — that if you speak against women — - The Blessed Virgin Mary, then they are fulfilling this prophecy, and guess who is behind his words?
Bottom line is that I love of the Virgin against their lack of respect for the time when trying to say Jesus is doing his will, and no doubt we will find out hmmm?
The same reason why the Pharisees and in the days of Saducees refused to recognize Jesus as the Christ (Messiah). Religion or religious pride, has a very strong control over those who chose to be led by him.
Meg, that's a question of syntax. We are all sinners, but was declared to be saints of God. Mary was a sinner like the rest of us, but God sees her differently, as all born again believers.
But really, this issue is nothing but an attempt to get to our Catholic friends.
My goodness, that's easy. Catholics believe that Mary is without sin in Christ, any Christian can be by the grace of God. I think they just gave him a special dispensation of grace in its design.
He was without sin because she was a savior. God saved from sin.
Mary was also in the top of the room the day of Pentecost, and all who were in the room received the Holy Spirit, that is, all who were there need salvation and the power of God.
Act 1:14 These all continued with an agreement in prayer and supplication, with women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Jesus did not even call Mary mother but "women"
John 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus said, They have no wine.
Joh 2:4 Jesus said to her, woman, what must I do with you? hours mine is not yet come.
Bottom line it was blessed among all women because she was the only one that will be used to carry the baby Jesus, but she is still just a normal woman who loved God as the Word says
Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
The "how" of all this was discovered by Duns Scotus. Of course, Mary was saved by the work of Jesus. Of course. But she was saved previously. We are saved later. And it is fitting that the Mother of God incarnate is sinless, it is not!
Mary is the model of a follower of Jesus. Yes, Jesus is above all creatures, the model of virtue, as you say.
Mary was truly human … she was saved from sin by Jesus in advance, but … Do you believe that Eve was created sinful! Why did not the Mother of the Savior - for the sake of the Savior.
Also, Catholics teach that Mary was a virgin throughout her life. However, we know that he had other children besides Jesus. Remember, the Catholic Church has what is called "Tradition" (with a capital "T") which allows the Pope and cardinals to decide what is truth and what is not true. Created doctrine within the church at will. This, of course, is contrary to Scripture that says God's truth never changes.
Mary was not sinless. He was human. Jesus is sinless. Might mean she is without sin in the sense that they do not have premarital sex to become pregnant with Jesus.
each person in the world has sined to raise their voice to speak again to fight for thinking against "god" all sins. Jesus was a sin even THO "savior"
She was not without sin and this has not always been Catholic teaching.
The New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967, vol. VII, pp. 378-381) recognizes the origin of the belief: ". . . The Immaculate Conception is not taught explicitly in Scripture. . . The early Church Fathers regarded Mary as holy, but not as absolutely sinless. . . . It is impossible to give a precise date when the belief was held as a matter of faith, but by 8 or 9 of the century seems to have been generally recognized. . . . [In 1854, Pope Pius IX established the doctrine] 'which holds that the majority of the Blessed Virgin Mary was preserved from all stain of original sin in the first instant of conception. "This view was upheld by the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965). -The documents of Vatican II (New York, 1966), edited by WM Abbott, SJ, P. 88.
The Bible says: "Well, sin entered the world through one man [Adam], and death through sin, death and, therefore, has spread across the entire human race sinned, because the whole world. "(Rom. 5:12) Is that Mary? The Bible states that in accordance with the requirement of the Mosaic Law, 40 days after the birth of Jesus Maria are offered in the temple of Jerusalem an atonement for the cleansing of the filth. She had also inherited sin and imperfection of Adam.-Luke 2:22-24, Lev. 12:1-8.
Every human being is born with the stain of original sin, including Maria.
She was not sinless. If she had rejected the faith in Jesus who is God, who was in the eternal lake of fire, like anyone who rejects faith in Jesus.
Mary was not sinless. Jesus is the only sinless person to walk the earth.
Catholics because (like many other religions) do not know what we are talking about
