Worship, veneration, as they call it a choice, if all evil is not directed to God alone. Why not just focus on Catholics who died for them? I have not seen Mary or any other person to the suffering on the cross. He alone deserves worship, devotion, honor, worship, glory.

There is a vision of the world different from reality if you look with your eyes in front of a Catholic Protestant Bible which is how we know about the divinity and humanity of Christ, the various heresies throughout the centuries, the place of the saints, what it means to be "saved", etc etc etc
What a world we live in?

I was surprised that other Christians continued this belief of the Islamic interpretation of the law against idolatry so closely. (Not all non-Catholic Christians are of this opinion, however). I thought that all Christian sects were united in their belief of Christ's redemption, and of fraternal love. I have never heard any priest or Catholic homily ever say anything critical against other Christian sects. However, I have heard other Christian sects vociferously criticize Catholics, to the point of calling them evil and satanic.
All I can say to them, unfortunately, is "the blind following the blind."

His image is used as an ornament in the church, it is prayed and asked for forgivness. How is that not a form of worship?

I have heard much of this … Plaster statues are idols … not for us. We must respect and honor Mary as she accepted the Holy Spirit. His life had a significant impact … and it is quite acceptable to have your picture displayed as a reminder of the Sagrada Familia. Most of the statues appear to be higher in Catholic churches, when such things were more popular. Do not apologize for Mary … I am tired of being "in pieces" in these matters. Why is it OK to see a statue of Abraham Lincoln and not somewhere who accuse him of worship?

I can understand that. Considering the two religions are based on books that are sexist and therefore do not let a woman worshiped let the theories that Mary was a representation of an ancient pagan goddess that was released and the "mother" of the true son of god, or however you'd like to call it, to try to make Christianity more acceptable to the pagans.

That's because they choose to learn about the Catholic faith from those who are against it rather than those who live. I can not understand why anyone thinks that someone is not of faith in someone who has been educated in the faith of his entire life (in some cases, anyway). Pity.

Even I, as an atheist, I understand that Catholics do not worship Mary … I disagree with their beliefs, but I do not deny that.
