It is necessary, it is biblical and church supposedly founded on the Bible. Note: I have taken communion maybe twice in 4 years come from my anger on family issues and the law. I'm really covered in the sin that will not touch the stuff ...

I'm not Catholic, but the majority of Christian churches, it must ask the forgiveness of sins, confession, before partaking of the communion which is the last supper.

Only if you are aware of having committed a mortal sin must confess before receiving communion. I refer to the sacramental confession, in all bodies to ask God's forgiveness for venial sins. Garwy you know when you are in mortal sin. While it is a scriledge to take communion while in mortal sin that you are not excommunicated. Talk to a priest.

Whenever you go to confession at least once a year and have not committed a mortal sin, is not bad. However, one must consider the fact that sometimes something that can be classified as a venial sin, which is actually a mortal sin, so it is best to go to confession (a month) just to be safe.

As long as you do not have an unrepented mortal sin in his sooul is ok to receive communion. There are several places in the Mass in which we ask forgiveness. Receive communion (Jesus Christ) removes minor, venial sins.

Depends. Catholics should receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where he or she has completely cut himself off from God (in the state of mortal sin) and at least once a year. Catholics may receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where he or she considers to be reconciled with God and the Church. For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 1422 et seq: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt2s ... In Love with Christ.

One can not receive Communion, when in a state of death, so as not to defile the Holy Eucharist. While confession is necessary for the forgiveness of mortal sin, the Church wants us in the habit of confessing venial sins, even our own. To think that they are not in need Blessed Sacrament of Reconciliation is the first step in starting a career in a life of mortal sin. After all, if you can not bring them to confess venial sin even less, what chance do you have the confession more serious mortal sins? Almost Nill. Do not give in pride and think that there is no need to confess.
