With the multitude of cases of pedophilia that have come before the courts in relation to the Catholic priests, and serious damage to our religion makes this both financially and in terms of being taken seriously if the Catholic church veterinary practices in their priests tightened.

You are right, there are problems … the problems came from the liberals, emphasizing the goal of morality in the 60's and 70's.
The other problem is with society in general. ALL are bombarded with sex everywhere we go. Heck, Dairy Queen is using sex to sell ICE CREAM !!!!!
All these effects, the rest of society deals with it through the immoral activity adultery, fornication, masturbation, etc … but when a priest is not terrible, because we do it to them to set the upper level.
We must pray for our priests-and future-who have the strength to confront evil and immorality in this world and lead us headaches either.
What happened to forgiveness? Who is without sin, to them cast the first stone?
