My question is Part 5 About the Catholic Church, Early Church, the Bible and the priests?

1. Why can not priests marry? I know there are married priests, but usually they married Catholic priests before they became law?
  2. Why the Catholic Church have all the rites of communion to the confession of beads, etc? Jesus did not bring all the clothes they wear or preists Catholic he and the disciples have produced such rituals.
  3. It seems to me from my limited knowledge of the Bible and history that the early church was meeting in homes and praying together etc. Is not that enough for God? Why add more?
  4. I realize that Catholic means universal and that the Catholic Church or the Roman Catholic church was the first, but basically all the laws, rituals, sacriments and everything was made for man, not God or Jesus. (I'm generalizing a bit, but you know what I mean.)
  5. A man can only pray to God and Jesus still find God? Why not cut out the middle man?
I sound opinions, but my question seriously.

It will take some time to answer all these questions but I will try to give a brief explanation.
      1. Some priests swear a vow of celibacy has become a discipline following the example of Jesus and St. Paul. Celibacy is a choice of men called to ministry since the beginning of the Church and is a respected discipline to follow. I am married and a priest is not a discipline among many Catholic rites, but is specific to the Latin Rite Catholics.
      2. Communion was launched at the last supper when Jesus commanded that the practice of communion after teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum. He said that if one does not eat his body and drink his blood then there is no life in them refers to eternal life. This is a commandment of our Lord is a gift of grace and not a belief or practice is optional for the faithful according to Jesus, recorded in Scripture. Scripture also teaches that we must confess our sins and gives him the authority to receive such confession to the church where the priest acts in persona Christi. Rosario is a tool to focus on the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross of Christ, which reflects the passion and suffering. Garments of the priests are used for particular reasons. Are often used to target the priests in the acts carried out to our Lord, acting on behalf of the person delivering Christi grace of our Lord. There are effects of clothing, but especially to remind parishioners of the server role of priests to people. The liturgy or "rituals" are presented so that the worship of our Lord and the presence of our Lord will be without errors and with due reverence to be in the real, real bodily presence of our Lord.
      3. I'm not sure what you mean by this question but I think we must ask ourselves how we can do little to satisfy God, but how much we can do instead of serving you.
      4. That are incorrect. All that the Church was not in the instruction of Jesus and the apostles. There are no laws, rituals etc. that are not based in Scripture and Sacred Tradition is the teaching of our Lord.
      5. Jesus is God in the Trinitarian understanding. There is no intermediary to pray to god.

  2. The Helper says:

It's something about the belief that if they are not married have a greater devotion to God. Even with the nuns, who were 'married' to God, and therefore can not marry another man. Married priests are usually married before becoming a priest, you are right.
Tradition is a good word to sum up everything. This faith has been around for years so there has been enough time for people to come with many traditions. The confession has been used a lot because people fear that if they are not going to Hell. The Rosary was some way I think Mary is us (in one aspect or something). Time changes things, remember that a lot has changed since Jesus' time.
God was happy when all Christians were there for each other and pray together. Now a Christian may be near death in a canal and a Christian can sit in a big house with a warm full stomach. God wants us to care for themselves are still too focused on most of the time.
I know what you mean, and I feel the same way. I just think we need to do as Jesus did and how he lived. He lived in the way of the dream where you are offered a bed, and he healed those who needed it. Change things so we can try to make sense of it. Somewhere in all of history who believed that ritual was what God wanted us all God wants is to get along and stop killing each other.
I think anyone can find God. God was there before Jesus was, Jesus was there to give us a call for attention, and to change some things. Personally I agree with an intermediary, but not everyone needs to use mediation, especially when you can get directly to God.
I hope all your questions answered. Feel free to send me an email if you want to talk more.

If the case have not heard, the Holy Spirit of God is the God within you. Listening to God within you and you will know the answer. You can always accept the truth within yourself. We all know right from wrong, no matter what he says in the Bible. That is the Holy Spirit, who guides their thoughts and actions. Preists to stop paying to blame on false hopes. The truth is within you. Dare to question the Bible, and finally find God. Stop opress leave religion to know that His truth. We know you're in pain and let you float away. Be free and your prayers will be lit up instantly.

    1. Celibate clergy
Celibate clergy did not come into full bloom until around 1000 AD there were many married priests, bishops, popes and before this time.
Priests, religious brothers and religious sisters (nuns) as part of their vocation not to marry following:
+ The recommended practice in the Bible
+ The example of Jesus Christ, John the Baptist and the apostle Paul.
      + + + + + + Book
In Matthew 19:12, Jesus says: "Some are incapable of marriage because they were born, some because they were made so by others, some because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Who can accept this should accept it. "
      In Matthew 19:29, Jesus says, "And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life." ;
Matthew 22:30 - Jesus explains: "In the resurrection neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels in heaven."
In 1 Corinthians 7:1, Paul writes: "It's a good thing for a man not to touch a woman."
Then in 1 Corinthians 7:7, Paul says, "Indeed, I want everyone to be like I am."
In 1 Corinthians 7:27, Paul writes, "Are you free from a wife? Then do not look for a woman. "
In 1 Corinthians 7:32-33, Paul teaches, "I want to be free of concerns. An unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how you can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, how can please his wife. "And in verse 38," Then, he marries his virgin does well, do not marry her will do better. "
Paul recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church so that they can concentrate fully on the creation of God and his kingdom. "The couple who abstains from doing better."
      See also 1 Timothy 5:9-12, 2 Timothy 2:3-4, Revevation 14:4, Isaiah 56:3-7, and Jeremiah 16:1-4.
      Scriptural Examples + + + + + +
Biblical models of a celibate clergy came from John the Baptist, Jesus and the apostle Paul.
John the Baptist and Jesus are both believed to have been celibate all his life. Some scholars believe that the example of the Essenes influenced either or both Jesus and John the Baptist in their celibacy.
WWJD? What Would Jesus? Jesus did not marry.
The Apostle Paul is explicit about his celibacy (cf. 1 Cor. 7). There is also evidence in the Gospel of Matthew for the practice of celibacy among at least some of the early Christians, in the famous passage about becoming "eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:12).
The concept took many twists and turns in recent years and probably a bit more before Christ returns in glory.
A priest is "married" with the Church. Some people think that a priest who takes his duties seriously can not take good care of his wife and family. "A man can not serve two masters."
      2. Rituals
The rituals are all around us. Human beings are beings rituals. We all rituals.
In our daily life, kissing her husband goodbye and hello, shaking hands with strangers and friends, prayers before meals and bed, the celebration of holidays in the "family" so, even in the morning doing his toilette.
Rituals also reassure children, adding a sense of confidence through repetition. Family members met to reinforce ties.
The society has rituals: graduations, inaugurations, Independence Day, New Year, Halloween, parades, opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
Religion has also rituals such as baptism, marriage and funerals.
This is the way humans live, celebrate and rejoice. This is also the way they spend our values and traditions to future generations.
And finally, try to stay around 2000 years and not pick up some traditions and rituals.
      3. Houses of Prayer
I'm not sure what you're asking here. However, the proportion of ordained ministers, the laity of today makes it much more convenient for many to meet in a central place for worship.
      4. Holy Tradition
I have much to say but can not bear now. But when the Spirit of truth comes, that will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his behalf, but will speak what he hears, and declare to you the things that are coming. (John 16:12-13)
The Catholic Church does not use Scripture as the only basis of doctrine. I could not. The early Catholic church existed before and during the time the New Testament was written (by Catholics).
There were hundreds of Christian writings during the first and second centuries. New Testament writings would become official was not fully decided until about 400 AD.
Catholics believe the Holy Spirit was guiding the early church (and is now rector of the church) to make the correct choice on things like:
+ The Holy Trinity (which is only hinted at in the Bible)
+ Go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday (which is actually directly against one of the Ten Commandments)
      + Communion of Saints
+ What are written in the New Testament?
Things that are even more modern and
+ Slavery is bad. Slavery is never declared evil in the Bible. This was one of the justifications for slavery in the Confederate States.
+ Democracy is good. The Bible says that God must either be the leader of the nation like Israel before the kings or kings should be the leader, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's." This has been much talk during the American Revolution.
This second source of doctrine is called Apostolic Tradition.
Christians do not allow the continuing guiding force of the Holy Spirit to make their beliefs more and more perfect, still approve of slavery as Colossians 3:22 commands, "Slaves, obey your human masters in everything"?
Therefore, brethren, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions you were taught, either through an oral statement or a letter of ours. (2 Thessalonians 2:15)
We instruct you, brothers, on behalf of (our) Lord Jesus Christ, to avoid any brother that takes place in a disorderly way and not according to the tradition they received from us. (2 Thessalonians 3:6)
I praise you because they remember me in everything and hold fast to the traditions, just as I handed them to you. (1 Corinthians 11:2)

      5. Salvation without Jesus
The Catholic Church believes that those who die never hearing of Christ but have sought the truth and does the will of God, as I understand it can be saved.
This is based on Romans Chapter 3:
Not for those who hear the law who are in the eyes of God, but those who observe the law will be justified. For when Gentiles who do not have the law by nature observe the prescriptions of the law, are a right for themselves despite not having the law.
They show that the requirements of the law are written in their hearts while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts, or even acknowledge to defend in the day that, according to my gospel, God will judge those hidden works through Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:13-16)

      + With love in Christ.

  5. The Watcher says:

I am not a theologian, but do my best here.
1.Priests take the vow of celibacy and could not marry. They were married before they became priests.
2.The rituals of Catholicism have not changed since Jesus founded the Catholic Church. And have been embellished the garments are produced by what might differentiate between the priest and the congregation, in my opinion.
3.Yes, you are correct about that. I do not believe that Jesus intended us to have places of worship, but that is my belief.
4.The laws, rituals, the sacraments are given by God to the apostles and their followers to renounce and teachers.
      5. Pray to God, which includes the Holy Trinity … God the Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.
The thing to remember is that Jesus Christ founded the Catholic Church. He founded a church, the Protestant churches that was formed not later. Looking at a timeline of the Christian religions, you'll see that most of them are fairly new. One thing that everyone, no matter whether you are Jewish, Hindu or Mormon, it is agreed that Jesus founded the Catholic Church. When you realize that there should be no doubt about which path should be following. There and is not involved and you can check that in Google or Yahoo or any other place. It is a proven historical fact. I personally am not willing to risk and the question of my eternal salvation.

  6. GH says:

    Very sensitive, indeed!
      1. Priests are governed by the celibacy vow of "in the Catholic Church. They use the verse in the Bible (I Corinthians 7:7-8, 32-35) as the basis for this rule - "But I would be without application. He who is without a woman is concerned about the things that belong to the Lord, how you can please God. But it is with a woman is concerned about the things of the world, how can please his wife and he is divided. And the unmarried woman and the virgin believed in things of the Lord, who may be holy both in body and spirit. But she thinks he is married in the things of this world please, how can your husband. And this I speak for your benefit, not to make a trap for you, but for what is decent and you can give power to assist the Lord without impediment. "
Catholics understand celibacy to be a reflection of life in heaven, and a source of detachment from the material world, which aids in the relationship with God. Catholic priests are called to be taken to the church and embraced God.
However, since not all of the priest can give to this law, many have resorted to "wives" of knowledge outside of the church .. Worst case, many of them in turn of the same sex.
      2. All practices of the Catholic Church originated from pagan beliefs and rituals. Thanks to the hard work of its founder, Constantine, in their desire to unite the early Christians and pagans to further enhance their empire. As is realized, no rituals of the Catholic Church is biblical.
      3. Meetings and fellowship of the early Christians ussually happens in the homes of his brothers. Once a week, the books they read in the synagogues as well as what Jesus did during his ministry. And you are right, that is exactly what God wants to do (though it may not happen these days because people were already split according to their "churches"). It is very difficult to find REAL brothers in the true Church in these days.
      4. CATHOLIC actually the word means "universal." But this does not necessarily refers to the faith or the church. This is more like a "government" control system throughout the world. The "= church thing" is only used to cover the whole system of government. As if it were observed, the Catholic Church is not very particular with the Bible, nor the education of members of the Word of God. While attending a week of their bodies well, or say and practice their rituals and practices - its okay. And you are right next to Judaism, is certainly the first well-established "church."
      5. . Jesus was given to us by God to mediate for us. And no one comes to God but by Jesus. But that does not mean you can not pray to God directly. The word "ombudsman" needs more explanation on my part and more studies from you.
I have only basic answers. If you need a deeper understanding, and if you feel may be of little help, you can send me an email at any time … and we shall walk together in this journey called FAITH.
      God bless you, Seth … p …

  7. robert says:

The idea that all truth is revealed in "66 books" is not only in Scripture, is contradicted by the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:6, 1 Timothy 3: 15, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Peter 3:16). It is a concept unknown in the Old Testament, where the authority of those who sat in the chair of Moses (Matthew 23:2-3) there. In addition, over 400 years, does not define the canon of Scripture "apart from the Old Testament, there is no" New Testament ", there was only tradition, not the canonical books and letters.
Protestants claim that the Bible is the sole rule of faith, that contains all the material necessary for a theology and that this material is sufficiently clear that it is not necessary or the apostolic tradition of the Church Magisterium (teaching of authority) to help understand. In the Protestant view, the totality of Christian truth is found in the pages of the Bible. Nothing outside the Bible is simply non-authoritative, unnecessary, or ill and may well reach an obstacle for God.
Catholics, on the other hand, we recognize that the Bible does not support this view and, indeed, is repudiated in Scripture. The true "rule of faith" as expressed in the Bible itself-is Scripture and apostolic tradition, as manifested in the teaching authority of the life of the Catholic Church, which was entrusted to the teaching of oral Jesus and the apostles with the authority to interpret Scripture

  8. furfur says:

    1. The priests can not marry because he said St. Augustine. Or maybe it was Constantine, but was "crazy" saint who passed all kinds of things that are not in the Bible.
      2. I'd love to know the answer to that one myself!
      3. You are right about this. The Catholic religion is a false religion, much of it is not based on the Bible, but the crowd control and wealth. I encourage everyone to take a Bible study and know what the Bible has to say and see if you still want to follow whatever religion they had followed before. God wants you to have a personal relationship with him, God is love.
      4. See # 3 … The Bible also says that life in Christ as a way is what is important, not the rituals that make human beings. Is what you will be judged based on how you have lived your life, no amount of Hail Mary can be said or how many they have made confessions to a priest, a man like you. The Bible warns against repetitive prayer (like the Hail Mary), as they are not sincere. God wants what is in your heart, not what others are brainwashing / guilt-trip on you.
      5. To pray, their prayers should be directed to God. Jesus is the Son of God, do not confuse him with God or at the same level. We are not at the same level as our parents and Jesus is not on the same level as God. You can pray directly to God … in fact if you do, much of the confusion, the false religions give their fans will disappear and you will feel more at peace.

  9. Midge says:

You are not interested in joining the church are you? If not do not bother with this. Go to a class if they are serious RICA.

  10. Meg M says:

    >> 1. Why can not priests marry? <<
For the same reason the doctors can not date or have sex with their patients. It is unethical to be incestuous and romantically involved with someone under care. http://fampra.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/con
      >> I know there are married priests, but usually they married Catholic priests before they became law? <<
While both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches ordering married men, nor permit priests to marry and remain in active ministry.
      >> Jesus did not bring all the clothes they wear or preists Catholic he and the disciples have produced such rituals. <<
Shirt and pants? (That's what I know that priests wear.) Jesus was a practicing Jew. Judaism is very ritualistic.
