Our opinion on the Pope?
I have read some ridiculous posts on the Pope today, and I want to clarify what Catholics think about the pope.
If I could somehow go back in a time machine and meet with the apostle Peter, how should we respond? Can you hear him? Do you respect the fact that his apostleship was given by Christ himself? Can you deny that would be at least a little excited about this met Simon Bar Jonah that Jesus called Peter?
Well, that's how we feel about the pope. We believe it is the successor of Peter (here's a list: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12272b.h …).
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, the Son of the Living God. The Pope is a man. However, the Pope occupies an office that are established by Christ Himself (Mt 16: 17-19) and we respect that. That's all for it. Here is more information on the Pope: http://www.catholic.com/library/church_p …
O: We do not worship Mary or the Saints: The statues are not idols, and they are all Catholic teachings BIBLICAL!

Pastor Billy says: let's have some fun in my cross cross fashion where no one questions the authority of the Catholic Church hierarchy with the Pope as head of the physical time to shout
"God willing!"
As for the Bible and is or is not what the Cardinal Newman at it like this in an essay first published in 1884 in inspiration: "Without doubt, then, if the revelations in the Scriptures and teachings are directed to us personally and practically, the presence of a court official and permanent display your words is essential. It is antecedently reasonable to assume that a book so complex, so unsystematic, in parts so obscure, the result of many minds, times and places, we must be from above, without the protection of some authority, as if it could, possibly, the nature of the case, interpret itself. Its inspiration, but does not guarantee the truth, not its interpretation. How are private readers to successfully learning to distinguish what is and what is historical, what is fact and what is the vision, which is allegorical and what is literal, which is [language] and what is grammar, which formally set out and what happens defter This is only temporary and what is lasting obligations. Such is our natural anticipation, and it is very justified in precisely the events of the past three centuries, in many countries where the private ruling on the text of Scripture has prevailed. The gift of inspiration requires as complement the gift of infallibility. "
Compared with Pope John Paul, the Pope is a disappointment.
I like the ULresponse. Why ask questions when you are unable to listen answrs?
Why are you trying to overthrow the sound of the stones? Catholicism is what you want it to be. Not what the general public would be.
When Martin Luther when you need it ……….
Catholicism is full of idolatry ………
The Pope is a man, idolic office.
Mary was the vessel used by God in Jesus of house 9 months ….. there is nothing sacred about a Mary …. fallable, man
The church makes the man-made laws that keep Christians in bondage to works. Pope is the head of this .. that's my opinion.
Example. My sister got married in the church .. she left her husband and her son 25 years ago … She has been waiting for the Church to annul his marriage so that she can marry my brother in law … 10 years later, had a civil ceremony and we are still waiting to be married in a church! God is not to say that adultrey grounds for divorce … Who is this church to annul the laws of God and people together, and for your own?
discuss things with a smart cast is a waste of time. are unable to understand anything with their small minds.

See what I mean?
Although I am not Catholic, I believe the Pope to be a good Christian. This is also the last Pope.
They are excellent Christians.
I Cr 13; 8
Sal 122, 6
There is no "pope" in the Bible. The "Pope" is a false prophet, and I never acknolwedge his words.
How is it that they have never emailed me?
(((CC))) - I respect what he says and I understand completely, but if I had to choose I'd love to have met Peter, I liked that there was in the Sermon on the Mount, when given. What I want to give. The Pope, not so much. =)
Here is a simple test of whether or not what the Catholic Church says is true. The Bible says, in many scriptures, that whoever believes in Jesus Christ (not May) will be saved. The Catholic Church says there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church. Jesus said "I know my sheep. No one can snatch from my hand. " The Catholic Church says it has the power to excommunicate people canceling their salvation. I think we would prefer to believe the inerrant Word of God.
Take a funny hat.
I applaud your diligence despite the fall on deaf ears.
The Pope is not a problem for many Catholics. But is their lack of understanding of him as a person and his office that will ultimately have a problem with. They think that what we know about the Pope … and they do not.
I love all the "no pope in the Bible" and "Peter was never called the pope" statements. Ugh … very difficult, no?
Keep up the good work.
Anthony B said:
VICARIUS Filii Dei - The title of the Pope … It was a forgery of a document called the Donation of Constantine, which is two centuries after Constantine the Great, and bearing his forged signature, which suggested the name VICARIUS Filii DEI and strengthening of the heresy of the succession of the throne Papas (sic .) of the apostle Peter.
I reply:
He suggested the name - by his own admission. But not only that, the title VICARIUS Filii DEI is not a title of the pope has ever been. One of his titles, in fact, his title of chief is Vicarius Christi (Vicar of Christ).
Try to confirm the information you find to be accurate through solid Catholic sources. This only shows their ignorance of the Catholic Church and its unwillingness to check the validity of your information.
God bless

Question: Are you so weak in their theology, they block anyone who points out the errors and flaws in their beliefs? You have some viable questions and answers in this block that even the teaching of your question … Would not it be better to give an accurate account of their beliefs?
My sister answered your question and you blocked it. I challenge to respond to the issue in question.
VICARIUS Filii Dei - The title of the Pope. It means: "In the place of the Son of God. Therefore, DEI VICARIUS Filii, originally published in Latin, literally means: In the place of the Son of God. This title was given to the Pope in the eighth century, when he called the "Vicar of Christ," by the Roman title. It was a forgery of a document called the Donation of Constantine, which is two centuries after Constantine the Great, and bearing his forged signature, which suggested the name VICARIUS Filii DEI and strengthening of the heresy of the succession of the throne Papas (sic .) of the apostle Peter.
Therefore, never going to respond to the fact that the five tests are not valid Aquino?
Several people have pointed Hume demonstration of their disability and who has yet to say anything other than "God exists, HAH!
Demonstrate that - without Aquino, please have proved their true.
