Protestants: What do you hate Catholics so much?
First: the Protestants. Protestants protested against the Catholic Church. So, initially, the whole world was Catholic … that was not Muslim or Buddhist or whatever … All these "First Baptist" or "congregation" or "Community" … all these other churches are just that they do not like something about another way of starting another.
Anyway, one of my best friends and I got in a big fight about this … Why Protestants hate Catholics so much? Seriously. Before you go and hate on us, at least there must be a reason. If you want to know about why we need the Eucharist or the reason we pray to the Virgin Mary, let me know. I say all you want. But I just do not get what's so bad about what we believe.

I have never met a Protestant who hated me because I was Catholic.
It is not that Catholics are hated themselves or protested against (although I do not speak for everyone). It is what is perceived as the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church. Protestants wanted to go back to the basics of the teachings of Christ and eliminate intermediaries between God and the congregation.
Some of the differences include the services and the Bible in the vernacular or common language of the land instead of Latin, a rearrangement of the interior of the church and put an end to the veneration of saints.
Make a study of Martin Luther. He was the first Protestant reformer.
I agree with the frogs in this E ….. I do not hate anyone … But there is much to do with …. However, do not dwell on the differences …. I say this and then I will silence: Peter, who many argue was the first pope, was a Jew, no Gentile is .. Taught, loved, and that all things * right *, as Jesus did …. Pedro Pablo recognizes himself as the Gentile Apostle … soooo, anyway, and go there ……… go in peace …… God bless
That hates us because they are biblical, the Bible is a Catholic, and can not take the fact that his idol, which is cahtolic worship, otherwise it would have to change.
What I find really ironic is not like the people they are Catholic or Protestant?
I do not hate Catholics. I like their hospitals.
Only ignorance and hatred. That Catholicism can not accept the existence of first.
I do not hate. I just do not agree with all of its teachings
From what I can tell this Catholic, it is only a small percentage of Protestants who hate us, and usually ends evangelical or fundamentalist denominations. They are taught by their leaders and people like Jack Chick Alexander Hislop, or the Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon and the Pope is the anti-Christ. Which gives them free rein to all Catholics and demonizing everything what we think - despite not knowing what it really is.
I'm guessing they need an outlet for all the hatred and prejudice that its restrictive interpretation of the Bible gives, and Catholics are only a goal. Because we are Christians, we are least able to punch his lights that other people might be.
Edit:
"Defender of the Gospel?"
That is very funny. Where do you think you * * Protestant Bible in the first place? The only dubious contribution to the Protestant Bible is that of stealing seven books simply because they do not support Luther's doctrines made by man.
What you mean is that they are defending what they believe the Bible teaches - while support is very unscriptural doctrine of "Sola Scriptura".
Being a Roman Catholic, I have found a large number of people cursed by the Catholic Church and I chose to study anti-Catholicism. This study extended over eight years and became easy to attack anti-explosion every Catholic out of the water. In fact, I now know more anti Catholicisim that the practice of anti-Catholic.
Much of what the practice of Catholic anti-miss-it celebrates the simple and correct information when the information in turn and simply walk away. They realize that they are capable of turning their belief system and it is my hope that I have planted a seed of doubt in the head, and hopefully that will take a second look at the early church fathers. If they do they will find the Catholic Church.
During my long period of study I would like to see a Protestant twenty-four hours TV show and see that they did not agree one hundred percent of the time in their interpretation of the Bible. In fact, more than 50% if that. However, while all join together as "One" when the discussion turned to the Catholic Church. There would no longer be the strongest debate of the doctrines and interpretations between them. They shake their heads in sorrow for us.
The unfortunate answer to why they have, and yes … Sometimes hatred is simple. DUDA!
There is an average of 26,000 (and counting), the Protestant denominations in the U.S. alone, each claiming that theirs is the good interpritation of Scripture. However, if not a mere historical study is that the Bible came from the Catholic Church that was inspired by the Holy Spirit. It was not the reverse.
I could go on and on but it is better to return to the delema of "doubt" that lurks in the heart of the struggle against the Catholic. "What if?" What if all this time it was the conviction based on what our Lord?
Therefore, to bury this question that we should try to convert Catholics in particular there is a belief system. In doing so comfirm to themselves that their church is the church, thus further burying the doubt, but it never goes out of sight.

really the key to salvation is to love God and his neighbor, no matter what you go to church. The church established cathilic most Christian traditions current about 400 BC Things like that communion is not really even in the Bible. It was the dinner of Lords, but who was determined that the mean communion? Therefore, many Catholics and Protestants are still laws. The Catholic Church however, does not follow exactly what the Bible says in all, nor are most of the churches.
Taking the Lords name in vain will be the same as calling yourself a Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist etc … So proud … In fact the church was a development in God's name. The House of God. It wasn't ment to be taken on several names. I'm just "a man of God."
There are many mistakes that Catholics in the same way that all Protestants and that really comes down to vanity. However, not everyone in the churches are a part of it. Many believe, but not only have the capacity to put it into words I do.
This does not mean you and Protestants and are all to hell. But what God really means for you? Matthew 22:34 is the largest chain of command. Loving God and neighbor.
This is what is more focused on … This was the key to salvation as it has been said in the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25. Some had enough love and faith and some did not. When "virgin" mean believers …
1) Thus, initially, all Catholics.
What about the Eastern Orthodox churches, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Gnostics, the Arians, etc etc etc
2) All these "First Baptist" or "congregation" or "Community" … all these other churches are just that they do not like something about another way of starting another.
Do you mean - how they liked the Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox churches and their bishops excommunicated (the bishops did the same in return, of course).
3) Why do Protestants hate Catholics so much?
I think it clear that not all we do.
4) And if you do not "hate" us, which does not agree with?
To begin
a) statues. Yes, I know that the Catholic Church (RCC) shows that this kind are not to be adored - but in reality the worship of the statue takes place. Perhaps most alarming is the practice (in particular, the sanctuaries in Central America), leaving offerings of food and flowers to the statues of Mary. If the CR can not - or not - to enforce the prohibition of devotion to the statues, why not eliminate what leads to sin?
b) the pope - though it was a good time, there is no doubt that in the past, some very bad Popes have been in charge of the RCC. When that happens, the resident coordinators have to be obedient to their decisions! Obviously, there is something wrong with this system. If not for an evil pope, the Protestant Reformation that almost never took place. The authority of the pope should be controlled by some governing body, as Peter was bound by decisions of 12 in Jerusalem in Acts 15.
c) birth control - now, here I admit, I am not a theological scholar. Maybe all the "natural" which pulls the RCC is morally good - but, in reality, the earth is dangerously overpopulated and has been recognized as such started long before anyone blame people for global warming . It seems that, for the good of the whole human race (not to mention the environment), "unnatural" (man-made) forms of birth control would be in marriage. This seems to me (clearly) * good * thing, a moral thing, to do. BTW - I'm not married, no (at least at present) benefit personally from that position. Just seems to be a "love thy neighbor" (or "love thy grandchildren) type of thing.
d) repeating the prayers - a minor thing, because it is difficult to define at what point repetition = futility. However, orders in relation to the sentence the Scriptures indicate that the repetition of words recalled from memory is not correct, and that prayer should be a direct (non-formalized) at the request of God. The repetition of such things as prayer in the rosary, Stations of the Cross (I think) and as "repentance" seems contrary to Scripture.
e) women in the church of reading - Yes, this is forbidden by Scripture - by this I mean, women read to the congregation during church services.
Those are what I remember of the top of my head. I know there are some other issues that I differ with the RCC.
As a counterpoint: the translation of the Bible by far my favorite is the New Jerusalem Bible, and I think the Catholic Catechism to be read by all Christians (and after they have read the Bible, of course). CRC as a whole makes a * lot * - but do not make everything okay.

His suggestion that the Church was the only church Catholioc comes through the story is false. Please study the history of the Church. Mistakes like this make their arguments less vaild in the eyes of many people.
Regarding the differences between Catholics and Protestants, prefer to spend purgatory, worship of Mary and the transubstantiation of now and focus on a glaring error Cathoicism. Catholic doctrine teaches that salvation is only through the Roman Catholic Church.
The attitude and the formulation of your question shows their own arrogance in this regard.
I do not hate you for being Catholic, but as a defender of the Gospel as I hate their false doctrine. And I hate my doctrine as a protest against his belief that one can only be saved in your church. Really?
So what's the difference?

I am an ex-Catholic. I'm not Protestant. I am a born-again Christian. I left the Catholic church when I realized that many of the teachings of the church is not biblical …. one of these false teachings is what you said … The church is not the first Catholic church … whole world was Catholic. .. reading the New Testament. St. Paul wrote many letters to the early Christian churches and the Catholic church was never mentioned.
I do not hate Catholics … my husband and family are still Catholic. We all love and worship God. God sent his son Jesus to us about him … not bring us a religion.
