Some of the many festivals in Spain

A good time to visit Spain is during the holidays when a visitor can experience the Spanish culture. There are many celebrations and holidays in Spain during every season. Since most of Spain is Roman Catholic, most are religious holidays. The many festivals and celebrations associated with these parties, both in large cities and smaller cities, are great activities to experience during their stay.
  Some of the holiday is celebrated during the spring and summer include Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Corpus Christi and San Juan. Good Friday is the Friday before Easter Sunday and is a very important event in Spain. Many cities have large processions and festivals and many areas to hold these processions throughout the week. Some events also include re-laws of the crucifixion. Moreover, many of these festivals is to spread the feast of Easter Sunday. This is another very important holiday throughout Spain and is in honor of the Resurrection of Jesus. The feast of Corpus Christi, that is the Body of Christ, is celebrated in late summer or early sprint. This festival is very important to the Catholic religion. The feast of Corpus Christi celebrates the sacrament of the Eucharist and is honored on the first Sunday after Trinity. It is usually in May or June, but varies each year. San Juan vacation is June 24, but is that the June 23 San Juan is celebrated on June 24, but celebrations often begin before nightfall. Constitution Day is a very important holiday celebrated on December 6. Spain is held in the transition to democracy after its constitution was adopted in 1978. January 6 marks the end of the Christmas season in Spain. The festival, known as Three Kings Day or El Dia de los Reyes celebrates the visit of the wise men to Bethlehem. According to Spanish tradition, the three kings represented Arabia, Africa and Europe bringing gifts to baby Jesus. There are often large processions and festivals celebrating this day.
