Yes, Matthew (not Judas Iscariot), and then add more as the Church grew. In the same way and in an unbroken line of succession, the current living 5054 bishops are apostles of today.http: / / www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop ... With love in Christ.

No. First, the bishops were 7 in early Christian history, it does not fit with 12 apostles. James the Just (also known as James the brother of our Lord) was the bishop of Jerusalem, but it is not an apostle. Paul was an Apostle, but never a bishop; same with Peter and other apostles. The apostles of the history of his authority disappeared, taking with them.

Judas killed himself before the birth of church in the spirit of Pentecost, when he came to the disciples. Peter became the first pope of the Christian and the other 10 disciples 2 Mary (Magdalene and Jesus' mother) who were the first bishops. at this time all Christians were united by what they usually use words such as Catholic

hey ... ..... Guess what pride is a sin too. lose their high horse and start to act like one you can cut and paste christian.i much. Jude 1:4 Some men have crept in unnoticed, who has long had been identified for such condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ *. TTS 3:9 But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law, because they are unprofitable and useless. 3:10 TTS Reject a divisive man after the first and second warning, And in 6:7 when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen [make].
You're right. Although I know that many people will tell you that is wrong. If the Apostles were the first Catholic bishops, in spite of the Catholic church was not called at that moment.

not have ignored the memory of the verses of those who are not apostles quoted.and term bishops.the bishop / supervisor comes much later on the NT. 10 Matt goes on to say: 8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, [b] drive out demons. Freely you received, freely give. 9Do not take along any gold, or silver-copper in your belts; 10take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff member, for the worker to retain its value. 11 "Whatever town or village you enter, the search for some worthy person there and stay in your home until you leave. 12As to introduce the home, they give the greeting. 13If the home it deserves, let her rest in peace, in case you do not, let your peace return to you. 14If someone does not welcome you or listen your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town. 15i tell the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of the trial to that city. 16i send you as sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Catholic bishop does not live that way. Also, the first non-Catholic Christians, who actually obeyed the Bible unlike the Catholics who pick and choose.
