Is it true that when someone asks you to pray for them, you are a mediator between them and God? You say "why ask me, you do not need a broker, you can talk to him directly?
I think not.
Any 1 Timothy 2:15 applies to every situation of intercessory prayer for others, or not. You can not have it both ways - the application to us to ask the saints' intercession, but not you.

The verse that always says it all. Mary did not die for our souls, nor was crucified on a cross for the same Catholicism that began in the first place - the Romans.
Mary is not a / the "co-redeemer in Christ." His sacrifice is sufficient alone for our salvation, and this "doctrine of Mary" and many others like him are unscriptural and out of the pit.
The sacrifice of Christ is only mediator between us and eternal life.

A couple have already said, there is a difference between an intercessor and a mediator. Jesus is our only mediator, we can all be advocates for each other. A mediator is a link from God to man. Every time a Christian prays for another, he or she is an intercessor.

Mary gave birth to Christ. This is also in the Bible. Through the gospels that is mentioned as the mother of Jesus. We know that just gave birth to her human aspect, but because we believe that God creates us all for a purpose, we believe it was created to bear and raise the Christ child. That makes it very special in our eyes. If you read the Gospels, you'll see that she followed him most of his life and that she loved him. Looking at life from a mother's sacrifice of Christ has a very human, personal and poignant message. I never really understood the human side of Christ, until he looked at me from the idea that a child was raised by loving parents.
Mary and the saints can pray for us, just so you can pray for me. Because Mary is in heaven with her son, we believe that is connected to a Jesus that some who live on earth. Also, mothers know their children. It helps us to know Christ and Christ is a part of the Trinity, so in that sense is a mediator between God and man, but in the same sense that when his pastor, and praying for you and you looks devotion 'll know Christ. She is not a direct line with the Father, the way of Christ is, however, this is not implied at all in Catholicism.

Let's see if we can keep this simple: It is not God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, three divine Persons but one God: The Holy Trinity. Jesus is the Son of God, the Second Person of the Trinity and he is normally known as the Mediator between God and men, can think of Him as the mediator, because he is fully God and fully man, it is a like a "living bridge" between God and man. The Virgin Mary is known as the Mother of God, because she bore and gave birth to Jesus who is God the Son, as is clearly visible in the events of the miracle at the wedding of Cana, it pleased God to give the Intercessor role of the Virgin Mary as a means of sharing in his redemptive work. This role of advocate is a privilege that is available to all who are willing to let God use us as he please, but was, in particular, to the Virgin Mary because of His perfect will cooperate with the grace of God. The co-redemptive dimension of the role of advocate is not out of grace, but it is a part of grace that was set aside for us by God as a gift from the bride who wishes to share its treasures with your closest girlfriend, the Church, a gift must be received with grace, and none is more elegant that the Virgin Mary. So, relax, God has everything under control.

She can intercede on our behalf to God, like any other saint. Seeking their help is not a requirement, and we pray to God directly, there is only one mediator between us and God, and He is Jesus Christ.

No. Catholics do not blieve that Mary is a mediator between us and God. Gave the verse that gives the reason why Catholics do not believe it.

John 19:26 - Jesus Mary, Mother of us all as He dies on the Cross saying, "Behold your mother." Jesus did not say "John, behold your mother" and that Mary gave all us, his beloved disciples. All the words that Jesus spoke on the Cross had a divine purpose. Jesus is not just telling John to care for her mother.
Rev. 12:17 - this verse shows the meaning of John 19:26. The "woman" (Mary) are the children who follow Jesus. She is our Mother and we are their progeny in Jesus Christ. The master plan of God's covenant love for us is the family. But we can not be a complete family with the fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Christ Motherhood of Mary.
John 2:3 - that is a very significant verse from Scripture. As our mother, Mary tells us all to do what Jesus says. In addition, the intercession of Mary at the wedding of Cana triggers the ministry of Jesus and a foreshadowing of the Eucharistic celebration of the Lamb. This celebration unites all believers in a famiy through marriage of divinity and humanity.
John 2:7 - Jesus allows his mother to intercede for the people in his name, and responds to the request of his mother's service order to fill the jars with water.
Psalm 45:9 - the psalmist teaches that the Queen is on the right hand of God. The role of the Queen is important in the kingdom of God. Mary, Queen of Heaven is on the right hand of the Son of God.
1 Kings 2:17, 20 - David in the Old Testament kingdom, the king does not refuse to his mother. Jesus is the new King David, and he does not reject the requests of his mother Mary, the Queen.
1 Kings 2:18 - David in the Old Testament kingdom, Queen intercedes on behalf of supporters of the King. She is the queen mother (or "Gebirah). Mary is our eternal Gebirah.
1 Kings 2:19 - in the Old Testament King David reign arches her mother and she sits on his right hand. We, as children of the New Covenant, we should imitate the King and pay tribute to Mary our Mother. In honor of Mary, we honor our King, Jesus Christ.
1 Kings 15:13 - The Queen Mother is a position of real power in the monarchy of Israel. Here the queen is removed. But now, the kingdom of David is perfected by Jesus and Mary is our Mother forever in his right hand.
2 Chron. 22:10 - here the Queen Mother Athalia destroys the royal family of Judah after she sees her son, King Ahaziah killed. Queen mother played an important role in the kingdom.
Neh. 2:6 - the Queen Mother sits beside the King. She is the principal intercessor before the King.
