Urban legend soprano) and read-What do you think?

Now it's official. Now really think Tony Soprano is dead.
What convinced me was an excellent analysis of the last episode of this type by Bob Harris on his blog, www.bobharris.com.
Now you can nitpick all you want about this piece of the puzzle that do not fit, but there are too many "coincidences" for me to believe that David Chase does not aim to hide all these "Easter eggs" of clues and pointers in the final episode - and the final scene - for nothing.
In any case, Chase was almost too obvious. Anyway, go ahead and read Harris' entire post, and re-watch the episode yourself. I tried to summarize the key points made here …. Harris
Opening of the episode shows Tony raised in a funeral in the back to sleep.
Tony wakes up and eats an orange early in the episode. Oranges directly in the death of Don Corleone and Michael Corleone.
If they see the way Carmela, Tony and A.J. eat all the onion rings, is exactly how to take communion wafers in church. In Catholicism, the administration of the Eucharist in the moments before death is known as Viaticum, derived in part from the Latin for … "Journey". Helloooo …
Tony said his favorite scene in the Godfather Sollozzo is murder, where Whacked by a man who leaves the bathroom. Favorite!
In Godfather, Sollozzo's last words are "beef deal, which is the best in town." Tony says of the onion rings in the small scoop of fat (the onion rings) "the best in the state. "
There are many first-person POV shot (point of view) the eyes of Tony in the final scene. This is why things suddenly goes black it makes sense as a "first person" perspective on what it is die.
The fact that the only door chimes 6 times (some tickets for the restaurant is not a ringer) is a reference to the Catholic "6 Bells" or a call to mass. At a funeral, Catholics hold a full mass.
The Journal of the song "Do not Stop Believin '" begins exactly where Carmela enters the door. The lyrics "just a little girl in town" and "live" in a single World "match tight shots on the face alone, which means his life will be like in seconds.
The shirt is the same one that Tony wore when he was shot by son in an episode titled "Members Only." It was a man wearing a "Members Only Jacket" (1986 harvest, I do not know if you can even get one now) that is implicit in the type of cover Tony a success.
All of the Soprano family BLACK leads to the table. Funeral? Hello ….
There is a "last supper" style shot of Tony sitting at the table with a slight halo of light that shines on it. This being - supposedly - the real Last Supper.
Tony tells the prairie in the previous episode: "My chances are flying by me." Prolegomena to a "life flashing before my eyes" reference to death.
FINAL NOTE: If you think about putting an end to a great time with Chase 8 years this show is perfect. The ending left viewers (at least me) with an empty, surprising, sudden, and WIERDE sensation in the stomach. Why would not the TV show about a mobster with a NJ whacking the end of the main character? Chase not only show you, which made the experience, and kind of "feel" if that makes sense.

I think you have a very interesting analysis of the ending! I have not seen much of the sample, but for me the black happens suddenly at the end of the sample was intended to describe the uncertainty of life, and that could "disappear in the black" (if) at any given time. As you have been a follower of the series I think you have a very good analysis of what Chase was trying to reach - that was when Tony Whacked (if it happened) their "lights" or " curtains. " If there is going to be a movie, which also leaves open the possibilities.

which is a very good analysis.
Another interpretation I've heard is that after years of seeing the viewer Sopranos kind of felt like another member of the cast, and that we "viewers" are the Whacked arrive when everything went black for us.
