Why do evangelicals think Catholics Worship Mary and the saints?

when they do not.
Just ask them to pray for them in the same way as an evangelical prayer requests from people in your church.
Only God is worshiped and the focus is predominantly in prayer to God directly.
As far as I can tell I Havent heard a Hail Mary Mass in years. It is not necessarily an evangelical thing doctinal so why so much stress.
Also, Catholics do not worship idols.
As to the fool who said that all they wanted was the church money. Well I have been in evangelical churches and they have a cross section of 45 minutes to give, just look at 700 clubs. Evangelicals are those who worship God Mammon.

This has always been a strange thing for me. They are planning to ask family and friends on earth to pray for you okay. But if you ask someone in heaven in the glory of God, pray for you, then, suddenly becomes worship. I think it's ridiculous myself, but I think that evangelicals could better answer this question, as I do not understand their thinking.

I admit that is a long time since I was in a Catholic church, but my impression is put above Jesus Maria. was only a human being and even ask them to pray for you is sin in my way of thinking.

because they are ignorant and self righteous.

I do believe that, however, that Mary is holy and without sin that only Jesus is sinless. God said that was only good and faithful, not saints. Rather than pray for the dead to intercede on their behalf. Jesus is not dead and only pray through His Holy Name! They also believe that only someone to be a saint after going through the process when Catholic Holy Bible clearly states that all believers in Jesus as the Christ are the saints. Just my opinion.
      God bless.

"No more than 100 people in the world who truly hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they perceive as the Catholic Church."

Evangelicals, because they do not understand the difference between prayer and worship.

Many of them simply have not taken the time to study Catholicism. Usually only know what their family friends have told them. I had similar errors, but after reading 'Catholicism for Dummies, "and doing my own research, I came to understand what Catholics are really doing. Mary and venerate the saints is simply looking at them, pray through her intercession, and keep close to your heart and mind. Not at all "worship". Is reserved for worship to the Lord.

I agree with you, do not know what they are talking about this issue, but was asked ten times a day. You will not change their narrow minds.

  9. Balaam's Talking AM Donkey says:

The vision of the world of most evangelicals, whether in terms of science or other religions or education has been shaped by their religious leaders.
