Why do people insist on calling Catholics Christians when their teachings are clearly not Inconcert with him?

Bible.
  Purgatory has no biblical basis.
Mary was a perpetual virgin of Matthew 1:24 and 25.
To crucify Christ again and again in the body.
And the Vatican last year issued a statement saying Catholics were in danger of losing their eternal salvation if they had voted for the wrong candidate to demonstrate the group has no idea what is salvation.
  Idolatry, nesscessary any explanation.

  1. charisma says:

I totally agree with you, however, the word Christian is a blanket …. covering any person that the religion is based on Christ is the savior.

  2. none says:

The first Catholic church, under the leadership ST. Augustine, Ambrose and Clement of Rome, was certainly a solid Christian doctrine to back it up. But I do not hesitate to call on Christians and here is why.
      1. Have clear teaching of the Trinity.
      2. They do not deny the virgin birth.
      3. They have a way of salvation by grace, although they believe should be added to it, but so do many mainstream "Christians."
      4. They do not deny that the Bible is the Word of God, although they believe are to be interpreted by the Church.
No doubt, however, that the Catholic Church is in need of reform and that is what Martin Luther tried. I did not want to throw out the baby with the bath water. He just wanted to correct the errors within the church.
Are there dangers in Catholicism? Yes, but there may be many dangers in the Christian churches that stray away from the Word of God and his own twist to it entails.
      Sola Scriptura!

  3. EF says:

The definition of a Christian is someone who has accepted Jesus as their savior and believes he is the son of God. Catholics believe so this should be accepted as Christians.
Above all other things that are not biblical, so .. can get terribly misleading.
Christianity has been around before the Catholic church was established. Constantine was the one who made Christianity the official religion of the Byzantine Empire. This institutionalized Christianity and a lot of blending, not things and biblical traditions.

  4. TruthSee says:

None of the things beyond the word "Christians" in question is applicable. Catholics are called Christians because they are followers of Christ, period. No matter what your definition of a Christian is or how you think a Christian should behave. The definition of a Christian is a person who cree en / follow Christ. That's it.

  5. Mike K says:

    Hi,
Since all data definitions and defines lexicon as well as whether or not some Christians. 32.000 different Protestant sects show that Christians have not even come with ideas for writing. Eternal security is a false teaching that totally contradicts what Jesus taught according to many sects, not just Catholics. They have TV evangelists from Fundy Haggee tried to tell their flocks how to vote? Remember moral majority?

  8. gumby says:

A judge is not "inconcert" (sic) with the Bible.
Everyone does things that are contrary to the Bible. Do you believe Jesus is the Savior and Redeemer? Do you worship him? If the answer is yes, then you are a Christian. Let Christ chose his followers are. Do not try to name you on equal footing with men.

  9. S says:

Please study a little (or a lot) more about the Catholic Church so that we can be more elevated discussion. Meanwhile, I was surprised to learn that you were at the Last Supper and commission staff received Christ as an apostle. Good job keeping your health in recent 2000 years!

  10. monmichk says:

To follow Christ. Are Christians. You may not agree with everything you have to say. But, then, may not agree with what you think. That does not mean to follow Christ. This means that it will happen otherwise.
      Let God sort of disorder.

  11. JefFlyin says:

Their claims are based on his belief in the churches of the Christian religion it should be. Catholics are just like any Christian denomination of Christianity. Christ is happy with his badgering?

  19. rac EAC Evil Atheist Conspiracy says:

Because "Christian" refers to one who claims to be. There is no one with authority to decide who is and is not one.

I believe that because many Catholics are now entering Christianity. I totally agree with what you are saying, it should be or not. Jesus said that no one comes to the Father except through me. Catholics to pray for the intercession of Mary to God for them …..

  27. Tony Christopher says:

Im a Christian Catholic. Raised Catholic, after being in the life of Christ through Christianity. I have a love for both religions, but I am more in favor of a Christian rather than a Catholic mass Mass. While in the same faith, but the mass is completely different.
