  1. Clarkie says:

As a matter of fact, the Vatican is taking this problem into consideration. " It could happen in your life.

  2. Julia D says:

USED Catholic priests to be allowed to marry.
This practice was carried out when the church was losing too much land, money and other assets, because the priests the sons inherited these assets instead of the church.
At that time it became forbidden for priests to marry, and since then, of course, all property of the priest after his death he went directly to church.
And that is why, the only reason, it became forbidden in the Catholic Church for priests to marry more.

  3. SpiritRo says:

    Read the Bible.
"To the unmarried and the widows I say that is good for them to remain single as I do. But if you can not exercise self-control, they should marry. Why is it better to marry to be burn with passion "(7 :8-9).
It is only because of the "temptation to immorality" (7:2) that Paul gives the teaching of every man and woman with a spouse and the other their "conjugal rights" (7:3), but specifically says, "I say by way of concession, not of command. I want everyone were like me. But each has his own gift from God, one of a kind and one of another "
"Are you free from a wife? Not looking for marriage … Those who marry will have worldly problems, and I want you to spare …. The unmarried man is concerned about the affairs of the Lord, how the Lord, please, but the married man is concerned about worldly affairs, how to please his wife, and his interests are divided. And the unmarried woman or girl is concerned about the affairs of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit, but the married woman is concerned about worldly affairs, how to please her husband "(7:27-34).
Paul concluded: He who marries "does well, and that it refrains from making a better marriage" (7:38).
After Jesus' teaching in Matthew 19 on divorce and remarriage, the disciples said, "If such is the case between a man and his wife, it is better not to marry" (Mt 19:10). This observation is Jesus' teaching about the value of celibacy "for the sake of the kingdom":
"Not everyone can accept this word, but only to those who have been granted. Some are unable to marry because they were born, some because they were made so by others, some because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of God. Who can accept this should accept it "(Matthew 19:11-12).
Note that this kind of celibacy "for the sake of the kingdom" is a gift, a call that is not granted to all or even most people, but granted to few. Other people are called to marriage. It is true that too often individuals in both vocations fall short of the requirements of their state, but this does not diminish either vocation, nor does it mean that the persons in question were "not really called to this vocation. The sin of a priest does not necessarily prove that should never have taken a vow of celibacy, any more than the sin of a married man or woman can prove that he or she should never have married. It is possible for us to live up to our true vocation.
Celibacy is neither abnormal nor unbiblical. "Be fruitful and multiply" is not binding for everyone, but it is a precept for the human race. Otherwise, every unmarried man and woman of marrying age in a state of sin by remaining single, and Jesus and Paul would be guilty of promoting sin and commit the same.
As for communion, again, read your Bible.
"I am the bread of life, who comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst." At this point the Jews what was meant metaphorically speaking.
Jesus first repeated what he said, then summarized: "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any one eats of this bread will live forever, and the bread that I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh. "The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying:" How can this man give us his flesh to eat? "(John 6:51-52).
His listeners were stupefied because now it means that Jesus literally and correctly. Again repeated his words, but with greater emphasis, and made the statement about drinking his blood: "Truly, truly, I say, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, has no life you, who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him "(John 6:53-56).
Jesus made no attempt to soften what he said, any attempt to correct "misunderstandings", for there were none. Lord of the audience understands him perfectly. No longer thought I was speaking metaphorically.
In John 6:60 we read: "Many of his disciples, when they heard that, he said, 'This is a hard saying, who can listen to it?" These were his disciples, people used for their remarkable ways. Warned not to think carnally, but spiritually, "It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh is useless, the words that I have spoken are spirit and life" (John 6:63, cf. 1 Cor. 2:12-14 ).
But I knew that some would not believe. "After that, many of his disciples drew back and no longer went with him" (John 6:66).
This is the only record we have any of Christ's followers to leave him purely doctrinal reasons. If it had been a misunderstanding, if it erred in making a metaphor in a literal sense, why not call him back and set things straight? Both the Jews, who were suspected of him and his disciples, who had accepted everything so far, have remained with him said he had been speaking only symbolically.
But do not correct these demonstrators. Twelve times he said it was the bread that came down from heaven, four times, has said that "to eat my flesh and drinks my blood." John 6 is a promise of what was widely instituted at the Last Supper and it was a promise that could not be more explicit.

  4. physics. says:

I am Catholic, but I wish that the priests could marry, because it would develop much closer to his congregation (as it would be much better able to identify with them). However, although I do not like, I understand the tradition behind this. St. Peter and St. Paul because their wives were not only mission was to carry out God's Word - our clergy today reflects this position.

  5. Earl D says:

Because Jesus and his disciples did not know Bibically to marry a woman. For what they want to live like Jesus and the disciples.

  6. itsmyitc says:

If they are married, are cut in his altar boy of the time.

  7. Kellye B says:

First, Catholics do read the Bible. Most Catholics have no idea what is even catecism. Second, priests, nuns and monks have solomn all the vows of obedience, poverty and chastity. They know what they're getting long before they made the vows, and they are supposed to honor the vote. The Bible also speaks of wolves dressed in sheep's clothing … perhaps the few priests who have had problems (it is pretty bad because it would have left the priesthood at any time!) are the same wolves in sheep's clothing? The majority of Catholics today do not put much power in the Pope. We believe that your thoughts as thoughts, and bring into our lives however we see fit. He did not write any changes (like to know where you heard of that one), but includes the power to change the doctrine. He was given power by Jesus Christ himself. All the successors of Peter have the power. Which is in the Bible. Maybe you need to practice what you preach and read the whole Bible, not just the parts that work in your defense?

  8. john_d_a says:

The priest is entitled. Priests may marry up to about a thousand years ago when a sexually disordered Pope decided it could not. Married priests could remain in the priesthood, but not married priests can not marry and married people can no more become priests.
I'm not sure why priests can not marry, in fact that was one reason for the Protestant revolution of the Protestant Church and why the ministers, preachers, Reverends, priests, etc, can marry. Catholicism has a lot of things that are not in writing, inquisition, crusades, the murder, torture, marriage, etc, etc. These are just the things that made up Papas.
That's what happens when you put faith in people, claiming they have the power to change the Law of God in the will. Faith must be in God and God alone.
The idea that the Pope can do things is in Matthew 19
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed to you, but my Father in heaven. 18 And I say to thee, that thou art Peter and on this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and what you lose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Catholics have decided that every pope since Peter, who does not really evangelize the church system that developed in the Catholic Church, inherited this ability to "force", although the Scripture says no such thing.
Also, a couple of lines after Christ called Peter "Satan", to understand that Peter is fallible and it would be very difficult to inherit someone so fallible infallibility of which Christ calls them "Satan".
As for God, but do not give anyone the "Papa" "power"
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find, knock and you will be open. 10 For every one that asketh receives and he who seeks finds, and what knocketh opens. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you who are a parent, will give him a stone? or ask a fish, you will be given to a fish a snake? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will give a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to ask?
Communion that is totally fucked. I will not go into details about it. I am sure someone else can.

  9. tebone03 says:

Apparently disregarding Jesus curse when He established the church and placed in the hands of Peter. We, the people will not give power to the Pope, Jesus Christ and what he did, when Pedro put in charge of his church. Being married does not stop a pedophile to be a pedophile. Most of the priests who were accused of pedophilia that homosexuals infiltrated the church with an agenda. Were not true men of God. Before you throw stones at the true church of Jesus Christ (the Church) that your best image in Protestant churches to ministers who have been accused of pedophilia, and schools, police stations, fire departments, sports coaches, Mom and Dad's, and other family members, neighbors next door.
As for the Eucharist (the Lord's Supper), why do you deny your presence at your table? You are only hurting yourself when you do not take the Lord's Supper as He told His apostles. When the lack of respect for the Catholic Church that is disrespect to Jesus Christ.

  10. Stu says:

priest of high rank, were only supposed to be devoted to God so that so that none may marry

  11. imacatho says:

Priests, religious brothers and religious sisters (nuns) as part of their vocation not to marry following:
+ The recommended practice in the Bible
+ The example of Jesus Christ, John the Baptist and the apostle Paul.
      + + + + + + Book
+ In Matthew 19:12, Jesus says: "Some are incapable of marriage because they were born, some because they were made so by others, some because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven . Whoever can accept this should accept it to. "
+ In Matthew 19:29, Jesus says, "And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. "
+ Matthew 22:30 - Jesus explains: "In the resurrection neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels in heaven."
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:1, Paul writes: "It's a good thing for a man not to touch a woman."
+ Then in 1 Corinthians 7:7, Paul says, "Indeed, I want everyone to be like I am."
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:27, Paul writes, "Are you free from a wife? Then do not look for a woman. "
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:32-33, Paul teaches, "I want to be free of concerns. An unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how you can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, how can please his wife. "And in verse 38," Then, he marries his virgin does well, do not marry her will do better. "
Paul recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church so that they can concentrate fully on the creation of God and his kingdom. "The couple who abstains from doing better."
      See also 1 Timothy 5:9-12, 2 Timothy 2:3-4, Revevation 14:4, Isaiah 56:3-7, and Jeremiah 16:1-4.
      Scriptural Examples + + + + + +
Biblical models of a celibate clergy came from John the Baptist, Jesus and the apostle Paul.
John the Baptist and Jesus are both believed to have been celibate all his life. Some scholars believe that the example of the Essenes influenced either or both Jesus and John the Baptist in their celibacy.
WWJD? What Would Jesus? Jesus did not marry.
The Apostle Paul is explicit about his celibacy (cf. 1 Cor. 7). There is also evidence in the Gospel of Matthew for the practice of celibacy among at least some of the early Christians, in the famous passage about becoming "eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:12).
The concept took many twists and turns in recent years and probably a bit more before Christ returns in glory.
A priest is "married" with the Church. Some people think that a priest who takes his duties seriously can not take good care of his wife and family. "A man can not serve two masters."
      With love in Christ.

  12. lilmissykato DOF says:

When you are married have obligations to his wife and children. Preists is supposed to serve Gd 110%, being married out of their work. They know they can never be married, they agreed.

  13. Daver says:

The Catechism reflects biblical teaching. That even includes celibacy preistly:
Celibacy is the Church practice, not dogma
Matt. 19:11-12 - Jesus says celibacy is a gift from God and whoever can bear to bear. Jesus praises and recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church. Because celibacy is a gift from God, those who criticize the practice of the Church of God, celibacy and criticize this wonderful gift that gives to his elect.
Matt. 19:29 - Jesus says that whoever gives up their children for the sake of His name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. Jesus praises celibacy when it is done for the sake of his kingdom.
Matt. 22:30 - Jesus explains that in heaven there is no marriage. Bring Jesus to reign on earth, priests living heavenly consecration to God by not having a wife in marriage. In this way, priests are able to focus exclusively on the spiritual family, and no more pressure of the biological family (which is for the vocation of marriage). This also makes it easier for priests to be transferred to different parishes where they are most needed without having to worry about the effects of their transfer to the wife and children.
1 Cor 7:1 - Paul teaches that it is okay for a man not to touch a woman. This is an option for Catholic priests of the Roman rite freely.
1 Cor. 7:7 - Paul also acknowledges that celibacy is a gift from God and wishes that all were celibate like he is.
1 Cor. 7:27 - Paul teaches that men are not looking for marriage. According to Paul, marriage introduces worldly temptations that can interfere with the relationship with God, specifically in relation to those who become full-time ministers in the Church.
1 Cor. 7:32-33, 38 - Paul recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church so that they can concentrate fully on the creation of God and his kingdom. "The couple who abstains from doing better."
1 Tim. 3:2 - Paul instructs that bishops must be married only once. Many Protestants use this verse to prove that the Church's celibacy law is in error. But they are mistaken because this verse refers to bishops that widowers. Paul is instructing that these widowers could not remarry. The verse also refers to those bishops who were married. Also, can not marry (in the Eastern Rite Catholic Church, priests are allowed to marry, celibacy is only a rule of discipline for the clergy of the Roman Rite). Therefore, this text has nothing to do with the imposition of a condition of marriage to become a bishop.
1 Tim. 4:3 - this verse, Paul refers to doctrines that forbid marriage misleading. Many non-Catholics also use this verse to challenge the Church of the practice of celibacy. This is totally wrong because the Catholic Church (unlike many Protestant churches) exalts marriage to a sacrament. In fact, marriage is raised to a sacrament, but consecrated virginity is not. The Church states that the sacred marriage, and lifegiving pact. Paul refers to doctrines that forbid marriage and other goods when done outside the teaching of Christ and a good landlord. Celibacy is an act of abandoning a well (marriage and children) for a greater good (complete spiritual union with God).
1 Tim. 5:9-12 - Paul recommends that older widows have a commitment to celibacy. This was the beginning of women religious orders.
2 Tim. 2:3-4 - Paul instructs his bishop Timothy that no soldier in the civil service become entangled in activities, as they aim to satisfy his one who recruited him. Paul uses an analogy to describe the role of priestly celibacy in the Church.
Rev. 14:4 - unlike our sinful world of the flesh, in heaven, those consecrated to virginity are honored.
Isaiah 56:3-7 - the eunuchs who keep God's covenant will have a special place in the kingdom of heaven.
Jer. 16:1-4 - Jeremiah was told by God not to have a wife or children.
It is possible that a married man to become a priest, but it is possible that an ordained priest to marry.
Besides, what exactly is allowed to remove the priests to marry pedophilia. Somehow, I do not believe he thought this through. Basically, what you're saying is, unless they marry, it is almost guaranteed to become a pedophile. I doubt that type.
I think it's interesting how you say (correctly) that the pope has no power to change the scriptures, but then argue that you should allow priests to marry … Do not be violating the Scripture that I quoted?
Finally, I would like to take Siad ", and the whole" eating Jesus Christ "in communion is a mistake and respect ………. jesus i not to eat it "
      READ THE BIBLE:
Jesus promises his presence in the Eucharist
John 6:4,11-14 - on the eve of Passover, Jesus performs the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves. This was prophesied in the Old Testament (eg 2 Kings4: 43), and foreshadows the infinite heavenly bread which he is.
Matt. 14:19, 15:36, Mark 6:41, 8:6, Luke 9:16 - these passages are more accounts of the multiplication of miracles. This points to the Eucharist.
Matt. 16:12 - In this verse, Jesus explains His metaphorical use of the term "bread". In John 6, which eliminates any possibility metaphorical.
John 6:4 - Jesus at Capernaum on the eve of Passover, and lambs are gathered to be slaughtered and eaten. See what he says.
John 6:35,41,48,51 - Jesus says four times "I am the bread of heaven." He is, himself, the bread of heaven eternal.
John 6:27,31,49 - there is a parallel between the manna in the desert that is consumed physically, and this "new" bread which must be consumed.
John 6:51-52-then Jesus says that He is the bread refers to the meat. The Jews take it literally and immediately question their teaching. How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
John 6:53 - 58 - Jesus does not correct their literal interpretation. Instead, Jesus eliminates any metaphorical interpretations by swearing an oath and being even more literal about eating meat. In fact, Jesus says four times you should eat his flesh and drink his blood. Therefore, Catholics believe that Jesus makes present his body and blood in the sacrifice of the Mass. Protestants, if they are not Catholic, can only say that Jesus was somehow speaking symbolically.
John 6:23-53 - however, a symbolic interpretation is not plausible. Along these lines, the text uses the Greek word "Phage" nine times. "Phage" literally means "eat" or "physically consume." Like the Protestants of our day, the problem with making disciples of Jesus, the literal use of "food." So does Jesus?
John 6:54, 56, 57, 58 - He uses an even more literal verb, translated as "Trog", which means to gnaw or chew and crunch. Which increases the literalness and drives his message. Jesus gives us, literally, his flesh and blood to eat. The word "Trog" is only used twice in the New Testament (in Matt. John 24:38 and 13:18) and that always means literally gnaw or chew meat. While "Phage" could also have a spiritual application, "Trog" is never used metaphorically in Greek. Therefore, Protestants can not find a verse in Scripture that "Trog" is used symbolically, but this should be your argument that if they are to deny the Catholic understanding of Jesus' words. Moreover, the Jews already knew Jesus was speaking literally, even before Jesus used the word "Trog" when he says "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" (John 6:52).
John 6:55 - to clarify further, Jesus says: "For my flesh is real food and my blood is drink indeed." This sentence can only be understood as a response to those who do not believe that Jesus flesh is real food, and his blood is drink indeed. Further, Jesus uses the word that translates as "sarx. "Sarx" means flesh (not "soma" meaning body). See, eg, John 1:13,14, 3:6, 8:15, 17:2, Matt. 16:17, 19:5, 24:22, 26:41, Mark 10:8, 13:20, 14:38 and Luke 3:6, 24:39 which provides other examples in Scripture that "sarx" means meat. It is always literal.
John 6:55 - In addition, the phrases "real" food and "real" drink the floor "Aleth. "Aletha" means "very" or "really", and is only used if there are doubts about the reality of Jesus' flesh and blood as food and beverages. Thus, Jesus is emphasizing the miracle of his body and his blood real food and drink.
John 6:60 - as do many anti-Catholics today, Jesus' disciples are scandalized by these words. Even ask, "Who can 'listen' to it (let alone understand it)?" Unillumined to mind, it seems ludicrous.
John 6:61-63 - Jesus acknowledges their disgust. Jesus use of the phrase "the spirit gives life", the disciples need supernatural faith, not logic, to understand his words.
John 3:6 - Jesus often used the comparison of the spirit against the flesh "to teach about the necessity of possessing supernatural faith versus a natural understanding. In Mark 14:38 Jesus also uses the "spirit / flesh" comparison. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. We must go beyond the natural to understand the supernatural. In 1 Cor. 2:14,3:3; Rom 8:5 and Gal. 5:17, Paul also uses the "spirit / flesh" comparison to teach that unspiritual people are not receiving the gift of faith. They are still "in the flesh."
John 6:63 - Protestants often argue that Jesus' use of the phrase "the spirit gives life" shows that Jesus was only speaking symbolically. However, Protestants must explain why there is no place in Scripture where "spirit" means "symbolic." As we have seen, the use of "spirit" refers to supernatural faith. What words are spirit and life? The words that Jesus should eat meat and drink his blood, or have no life in us.
John 6:66-67 - many disciples leave Jesus, rejecting this literal interpretation that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood. At this point, these disciples really thought Jesus had lost his mind. If they were wrong about the literal interpretation, why not Jesus, the Great Teacher, have corrected them? Why not say to Jesus: "Hey, come here, I was only speaking symbolically!"? Because they understood correctly.
Mark 4:34 - Jesus always explained to His disciples the real meaning of His teachings. I would never have let that be a false impression, especially in regard to a question about eternal salvation.
John 6:37 - Jesus says that He does not drive off. It is understood correctly, but do not believe.
John 3:5,11; Matt. 16:11-12 - here are some examples of Jesus correcting mistaken impressions of their teaching. In the Eucharistic discourse, Jesus does not correct the scandalized disciples.
John 6:64,70 - Jesus links the disbelief in the real presence of his Body and Blood in the Eucharist to Judas' betrayal. Those who do not believe in this miracle betray him.
Psalm 27:2; Isa. 9:20, 49:26; microphone. 3:3, 2 Sam. 23:17, Rev. 16:6, 17:6, 16 - to dispense with the Protestant claim that Jesus was only speaking symbolically, these verses show that symbolically eat the body and blood is always used in a negative context of a physical assault . Always mean "the destruction of an enemy," not become intimately close with him. Thus, if Jesus were speaking symbolically in John 6:51-58, He says, "He who reviles or assaults me has eternal life." This, of course, is absurd.
John 10:7 - Protestants say that Jesus was speaking metaphorically about himself elsewhere in Scripture. For example, here Jesus says, "I am the door." But in this case, no one asked Jesus if He was literally made of wood. They understood as metaphorical.
John 15:1,5 - here's another example, when Jesus says, "I am the vine." Again, no one asked Jesus if He was literally a vine. In John 6, Jesus' disciples did not ask about his literal (that this bread is his flesh to be eaten). He confirmed that his blood and flesh were food and drink event. Many disciples took him and left him.
Matt. 26:29, Mark 14:25, Luke 22:18 - Jesus said that He did not drink the "fruit of the vine" until the baby again in the kingdom. Some Protestants try to use this verse (because Jesus said "fruit of the vine") to test the wine can not be your blood. But the Greek word for fruit is "genneema" which literally means "what is generated from the vine." In John 15:1,5 Jesus said, "I am the vine." ; So "fruit of the vine" can also mean Jesus' blood. In 1 Cor. 11:26-27, Paul also used "bread" and "the body of the Lord" interchangeably in the same sentence. Also see Matt. 3:7, 12:34, 23:33 examples "genneema" means "birth" or "generation".
Rom. 14:14-18, 1 Cor. 8:1-13, 1 Tim. 4:3 - Protestants often argue that drinking blood and eating meat sacrificed some were banned in the New Testament, which Jesus never to consume his body and blood. But these verses prove them wrong, showing that Paul taught all foods, even meat offered to idols, strangled, or with blood, can be consumed by a Christian if you do not bother the brother of consciousness and is consumed with thanksgiving to God.
Matt. 18:2-5 - Jesus says we must become like children, or we will not enter the kingdom of God. We must believe the words of Jesus with the children-like faith. Jesus says, because this bread is his flesh, we believe by faith, even though it surpasses our understanding.
Luke 1:37 - God, nothing is impossible. If we can believe in the incredible reality of the Incarnation, we believe the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. God comes to us in the elements that created an extension for the impressive mystery of the Incarnation.
Institutes the Eucharist, Jesus / More evidence of the real
Matt. 26:26-28; Marcos. 14:22,24, Luke 22, 19-20, 1 Cor. 11:24-25 - Jesus says, this is my body and blood. Jesus does not say this is a symbol of my body and blood.
Matt. 26:26, Mark. 14:22, Luke 22:19-20 - the Greek phrase is "tout Estina to soma mou." This phraseology means "this is really" or "this is really" my body and blood.
1 Cor. 11:24 - the same translation is used by Paul - "Tout Estina to soma mou." The statement is "this is really" my body and blood. Nowhere in Scripture does God ever declare something without doing so.
Matt. 26:26, Mark. 14:22, Luke 22:19 - to deny 2000 years of age, the Catholic understanding of the Eucharist, Protestants must argue that Jesus was really saying "this is (not) my body and blood." No However, the Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, there were more than 30 words for "represent", but Jesus did not use any of them. He used the Aramaic means "Estina" meaning "is".
Matt. 26:28, Mark. 14:24, Luke 22:20 - Jesus' use of "spilled" in reference to his blood also emphasizes the reality of his presence.
Exodus 24:8 - Jesus emphasizes the reality of His actual blood is present through Moses' statement "blood pact".
1 Cor. 10:16 - Paul asks the question, "the cup of blessing and the bread of those who participate, is it not a participation in Christ's body and blood?" Paul is really wondering why he, the writer divinely inspired, does not understand? No, of course not. Paul's son, of course, rhetorical questions. This is the body and blood. Furthermore, the Greek word "koinonia" describes a real, not token participation in the body and blood.
1 Cor. 10:18 - In this verse, Paul is saying we are what we eat. We are not associated with a symbol. We are members of one body.
1 Cor. 11:23 - Paul does not explain what he has received directly from Christ, except when teaching on the Eucharist. Here, Paul emphasizes the importance of telling us that the Eucharist received instructions directly from Jesus in the Eucharist which is the source and summit of Christian faith.
1 Cor. 11:27-29 - in these verses, Paul says that eating or drinking in an unworthy manner is the equivalent of desecrating (literally, murdering) the body and blood of the Lord. If this is just a symbol, we can not actually be guilty of profaning (killing) him. You can not kill a symbol. Either Paul, the divinely inspired apostle of God, is to impose an unfair penalty, or the Eucharist is the body and blood of Christ.
1 Cor. 11:30 - this verse refers to the consequences of receiving the Eucharist unworthily. Receive the body and blood of Jesus in mortal sin in the actual performance of our physical bodies.
1 Cor. 11:27-30 - Therefore, if we attend the Eucharist unworthily, are guilty of murder, literally, the body of Christ, and the risk of physical consequences of our bodies. This is overwhelming evidence of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. These sanctions are unfair if the Eucharist is merely a symbol.
Acts 2:42 - the Church of creation, the apostolic tradition included the celebration of the Eucharist (the "breaking of bread") to comply with Jesus' command "do this in remembrance of me."

Matt. 12:39 - Jesus said "sign" shall, unless the sign of the prophet Jonah. "While Protestants are focused only on the" sign "of the Eucharist, this verse shows that a sign may be followed by reality (in this case, Jesus, the resurrection, which is closely linked to the Eucharist).
Matt. 19:6 - Jesus says a husband and wife become one flesh that is consumed in the life than the union of civil law. This union of conjugal love which reflects the union of Christ with the Church is physical, not just spiritual. Therefore, when Paul says we are a part of the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:23,30-31; Col. 1:18,24), which means that our union with Christ is physical not only spiritual. However, our union with Christ can only be physical if it is actually something physical that is, itself, which is his body and blood to eat (otherwise it is just a spiritual union).
Luke 14:15 - blessed is He who eats this bread in the kingdom of God on earth and in heaven.

Luke 24:26-35 - on the road to Emmaus story, Jesus gives a homily on the Scriptures and then continue with the celebration of the Eucharist. This is the Holy Mass and the Church has followed this order of the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist for 2000 years.
Lucas 24:30-31,35 - Jesus is known only to the breaking of bread. Lucas emphasizes that only receive the fullness of Jesus in the Eucharistic celebration of the feast of his body and blood, which is only available in its entirety by the Catholic Church.
John 1:14 - literally, this verse teaches us that the Word became flesh and the tone of his tent "among us. The Eucharist, the incarnate Word of God under the appearance of bread, is stored in the tabernacles of Catholic churches around the world.
John 21:15,17 - Jesus charges Peter to "feed His sheep, that is, the Word of God through preaching and the Eucharist.
Acts 9:4-5, 22:8, 26:14-15 - Jesus asks Saul, "Why do you persecute me?" When Saul was persecuting the Church. Jesus and the Church are one body (husband and wife), and we are one with Jesus through His flesh and blood (the Eucharist).
1 Cor. 12:13 - we "drink" of a Spirit in the Eucharist, consuming the blood of Christ offered to the Father forever.

Heb. 12:22-23 - the Eucharistic liturgy brings the full union with the angels in Festal collection, only the spirit, and God Himself, which takes place in the assembly or the "Church" (Church).
Heb. 12:24 - we could not come to Jesus' sprinkled blood no longer offered by Jesus and the Father made present to us.

Matt. 26:2, Mark 14:12, Luke 22:7 - Jesus' passion is clearly identified with the sacrifice of the Passover (which lambs were killed and eaten).
John 1:29,36, Acts 8:32, 1 Peter 1:19 - Jesus is described as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Lamb must be slaughtered and eaten.
Luke 23:4,14, John 18:38, 19:4,6 - the Old Covenant, the lambs were tested in Nisan 14 to ensure that no stain. The Gospel writers also emphasize that Jesus, the Lamb was examined in 14 of Nisan and no fault was found on him. He is the true Passover Lamb must be eaten.
Heb. 9:14 - Jesus offered himself without spot "refers to the unblemished lamb in Exodus 12:5, which had to be consumed.
Matt. 26:29, Mark 14:25 - Jesus is the celebration of the Passover seder meal with the apostles who were forced to drink four cups of wine. But Jesus presents only the first three cups. He stops at the Third Cup (called "Cup of Blessing" - that is why Paul in 1 Cor. 10:16 uses the phrase "the Cup of Blessing" to refer to the Eucharist - which links to the food SEDER Eucharistic sacrifice). But Jesus says to his apostles, so that He is the omission of the fourth cup of the "Cup of Consummation." The Gospel writers of this critical omission seder meal for us to demonstrate that the Eucharistic Sacrifice and sacrifice on the cross and it is a sacrifice, and sacrifice will not be completed until Jesus drank at the Fourth Cup of the cross.
Matt. 26:30, Mark 14:26 - that sings the great Hallel, which traditionally followed the Third Cup of SEDER food, drink, but not the Fourth Cup of Consummation. Sacrifice of the Passover had begun but was not yet finished. Continued in the Garden of Gethsemane and was consummated on the cross.
Matt. 26:39, Mark 14:36, Luke 22:42, John 18:11 - the Lord has recognized over a cup to drink. This is the consummation of the cup that is drunk on the cross.
Psalm 116:13 - this passage references this cup of salvation. Jesus offered this Cup as both priest and victim. This is the last cup of the Passover of the New Testament.
Luke 22:44 - after the Eucharist, Jesus sweats blood in the garden of Gethsemane. This shows that the slaughter began in the Cenacle, the passion and connects to the SEDER meal where the lamb must not only be slaughtered, but consumed.
Matt. 27:34, Mark 15:23 - Jesus in his passion, even refusing to drink an opioid. The writers of this point to emphasize that the last cup was drunk on the cross, after the sacrifice of the paschal lamb has been completed.
John 19:23 - this verse describes the "chiton" garment Jesus wore when He offered Himself on the cross. These were used by the Old Testament, the priests to offer sacrifices. See Exodus 28:4, Lev. 16:4.
John 19:29, cf. Matt. 27:48, Mark 15:36 - Jesus is the wine (the Fourth Cup) in a branch of hyssop was used to sprinkle the blood of a lamb in Exodus 12:22. This links the sacrifice of Jesus to the Passover lamb, which had to be consumed at the seder meal, which was completed by ceremoniously drink the Cup of Consummation. Then in John 19:30, Jesus says, "is consummated." Culling began in the upper division and finished on the cross. God's love for humanity is expressed.
Matt. 27:45, Mark 15:33, John 19:14 - the Gospel writers confirm the death of Jesus at the sixth hour, just when the Passover lambs were sacrificed. Again, this relationship Jesus' death on the death of the Passover lamb. Like the Old Covenant, New Covenant, the Passover Lamb must be eaten.
1 Cor. 5:7 - Paul tells us that the Lamb has been sacrificed. But what are we to do? Some Protestants say they just have to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
1 Cor. 5:8 - But Paul says that we should celebrate the eucharistic banquet. This means we have to eat the lamb. We need to restore communion with God.
Heb. 13:15 - "sacrifice of praise" or "all" refers to the thanksgiving offerings of Lev. 7:12-15, 22:29-30 which had to be eaten.
1 Cor. 10:16 - Paul use the term "cup of blessing" refers to the Third Cup of SEDER meal. This demonstrates that the seder meal is linked to the Eucharistic Sacrifice Christ.
John 19:34-35 - John says clearly here. Blood (Eucharist) and water (baptism) that the source that purifies sin as prophesied in Zechariah 13:1. Like the birth of the first girl came from the rib of the first Adam, the birth of the second wife (the Church) came from the rib of the second Adam (Jesus). Gen. 2:22.

Priests, religious brothers and religious sisters (nuns) are not allowed to marry following:
      + The recommended practices by the founder of Christianity Paul of Tarsus, a remarkable young woman Hater and lover;
+ Alleged historical examples of church property being lost through marriage.
      Historical Steps + + + + + +
(590-604) Gregory I introduces celibacy edict to prevent property from passing from church to possible wives, families or lovers of the clergy.
(590 CE) Approximately 6,000 children were found murdered in pond outside Gregory Lateran palace after celibacy edict is introduced by Gregory I.
(655 CE): In an attempt to persuade priests to remain celibate, the 9th Council of Toledo decided that all children of clerics automatically become slaves. This decision was subsequently incorporated into the canon law of the church.
      (1089 CE) That the Synod of Melfi under Pope Urban II, also known as Blessed Urban ordered the imposition of slavery on the wives of priests;
(1484-92) that Pope Innocent VIII did deliberately and actively show disdain for the institution of marriage, the church the right of everyone, and all Christians for the greatest number paternity of illegitimate children of any pope in the history of church. The number of illegitimate children is the reputation of being more than 100 and that is why his reign as Pope was known as the "Golden Age of Bastards", in which the funds of the church were severely exhausted when they gave children killed with no financial support.

There are plenty of examples in the true gospel of Jesus sancity in relation to marriage, especially for Jesus, his apostles and the faith Nazarene.
Paul of Tarsus, on the other hand was a lifelong lover of men and hates women.
      + + + WWJD? What Would Jesus? + + +
Jesus was married, was not Paul. Jesus respected women's equality. Paul loved and hated young women.
The Apostle Paul is explicit about his celibacy, and love for young men (cf. 1 Cor. 7). There is also evidence in the Gospel of Matthew (doctors work of Paul of Tarsus himself) for the practice of celibacy among at least some of the early Christian converts of satanic worship in Syria, in the famous passage about becoming " ; eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven "(Matthew 19:12).
The same practice can be seen in the worship of the goddess of Syria until at least 150 EC.
      See http://one-faith-of-god.org/new_testamen
If a priest Jesus followed correctly, then it should be "married" to their community and not the church.
Some people think that a priest that lacks the normal, loving relationship of a family is cut off from their community, leading to an increased risk of bad acts, which is a feature of many centuries of Catholic history.
With love in the true Jesus Christ.

  15. Jane Marple says:

Many years ago the Catholic priests were allowed to marry. Then when they die their property would go to his wife and family and nothing to the church, the church came up with this brilliant idea that Catholic priests should not marry to be completely at the service of the church, giving as an example Jesus never married and so therefore that is why today priests not to marry and take a vow of poverty. As someone said in this case, the Vatican is seriously considering this within the next 20 years will see a great return on the subject.
But the hatred so the Catholic Church, you should know all this already.

  16. Midge says:

Leave the priesthood, judging by the standards of this world. Jesus did not say his kingdom was not of this world? Many Protestant pastors agreed with the Catholic Church to assume the ministerial role for priests and those who wish they had the same restrictions as they have found it almost impossible to maintain a happy family and his Church. A man ca not serve two masters. You should grind your ax in the other forum and not this.

  17. *ACDC* says:

Thus the Catholic religion in all they have to do to be forgiven after a mess and what is sin and cross themselves like never forgiven bam happened. They really do not have to atone for their sins.So its rules may be stricter if the policy is if you break the rules of our religion, all you have to do is cross your car and say it is better to forgive and believe it.

  18. Stanbo says:

Catholic priests do not marry because, while Christ, in fact, approve of marriage for the Christian clergy, He much prefers not to marry. Made this very clear when He praised the Apostles for giving up “ todos''a follow, saying: “ And every one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my name, will receive a hundredfold, and shall have eternal life.''(Matthew 19:27-29). Furthermore, Jesus explains why some are not married, indicating that "some of them, because they have renounced marriage for the sake of kingsom of heaven." The apostle Paul explains why the State is not married preferable to the situation for the Christian clergy marriage: “ He that is without the woman, is worried about the things that belong to the Lord, how you can please God. But it is with a woman is concerned about the things of the world, how can please his wife and he is divided.''(1 Cor. 7:32-33). In other words, marriage is good - Christ into one of the holy sacraments of the Church - but that is not conducive to the full time that corresponds to those who surrender to the holy sacraments of Christ - the Holy orders. Even so, the status of unmarried Catholic priesthood is not an inflexible law - under certain conditions, a priest may be dispensed from this law.
As for being married to keep "kids of lust," as you put it, the majority are heterosexual married men pediphiles. This has nothing to do with it.
Jesus said in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter and on this rock I will build my church and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. What bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. " (Matthew 16:17-19) The Catholic Church believes the Lord made Simon alone, whom he called Peter, the rock of his Church. He gave the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole herd. The Pope is the senior pastor of 1.1 billion Catholics, the direct successor of Simon Peter. God gave the Pope the power, not man.
As for communion, Jesus himself tells us that eating meat and drinking their blood. Yes, He is, literally speaking. When Jesus spoke about the symbolic foods, as in John 4:31-34 and Mt. 16:5-12, the disciples interpreted literally. Jesus shows that it is only speaking figuratively. In John 6, Jesus is speaking of the Eucharist and the disciples interpreted it literally, and could not believe that not correct. As a matter of fact that repeats itself by stating in the clearest language possilbe we have to eat his flesh and drink his blood to have eternal life,
Also in the Aramaic language which our Lord spoke, symbolically "eating the flesh or drinking the blood of someone who intends to pursue and assault, as in Psalm 27:2, Isaiah 9:18-20, Isaiah 49: 26, Micah 3:3, 2 Sam 23:15-17, and Rev 17:6,16. Therefore, if Jesus is speaking symbolically then says, "who will attack me and pursues eternal life." That makes no sense.
      God bless,
      Stanbo

      GAY CLERGY
"It is time that someone said bluntly," writes Andrew Greeley Catholic cleric in the National Reporter. "Church leaders are guilty of an even more madness that is destroying everything you need for the Catholic priesthood was once." What is it? "The leadership of the church is the tolerance of a double standard on celibacy and, because of the stupidity and cowardice, which allows priests to be substantial, perhaps in time, most gay," , Greeley said. While acknowledging that "many priests, bishops, popes and saints, even in past ages have been more likely that heterosexual homosexual in orientation," he believes that the current church policy toward the sexuality of priests is the cause of the clergy to predominantly homosexual, even more damaging "the already tarnished image of the priesthood." Greeley adds: "It seems that many gay priests ordained in the last two decades are sexually active and some of them are pedophiles [prefer children as sexual objects]."
