You can go to the Protestants and Catholics, and the confession was excused from their sins?
Unfortunately non-Catholics can not receive any legitimate Catholic receive sacraments, except in extreme circumstances like danger.
Before receiving the confirmation and the Eucharist in the process of entry into full communion with the Catholic Church, the baptized receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession).
Not baptized to join the Catholic Church often receive Reconciliation for the first time one or two months after the baptism.
However, no one can talk to a Catholic priest about any issue in your life without absolution.
With love in Christ.

Yes, sort of, and no.
Yes, a kind of Protestant you can go to confession. A priest / minister will listen to a confession of sins, but there is no ritual or ceremony associated with it. This is somewhat similar to confess to a psychiatrist.
No, a Protestant can not be excused from their sins by a priest / minister. Protestants believe that forgiveness can only be given by God.
In the Protestant church, the priest / minister is there only as a fellow participant. He is not among the congregation and God in the way that a Catholic priest does.
Of course, Christ paid with their blood the sins of the world.
Catholics and Protestants are both Christians.
I do not know why someone gave Dave P "and the thumbs down for saying that Protestants have no faith, because we do not. No formal, anyway. Dave is right that the majority of Protestant churches have optional "counseling" sessions instead. Counseling can be done by the minister, or to establish a voluntary, by special appointment. It is a rare thing for most people.
Protestants are taught to confess their sins directly to God.
Some Protestant churches encourage their members to form groups of accountability "of friends in the church to serve as a confession in order to encourage people to stay honest (James 5:16). No anonymous confessionals in Protestant churches, as far as I know.

Since it is obvious that you do not like the answers you are getting (from occurring all the thumbs down), I suggest that next time his word best not to misunderstand what they are trying to ask?
It is not necessary to go to a priest for confession. All you have to do is pray to God and ask forgiveness of sin.
Yes … but do not believe in confession to humans.
depends what you mean by Protestant guess. for me it means not Catholic, so that wouldnt not go to confession, and would go directly to Jesus who died for your sins, why do you need a human to intersede on their behalf.
You can be forgiven their sins, simply asking God to forgive him.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
You do not need a priest or any other person to confess their sins. Just pray to Jesus because He is the only mediator between us and God.
I Timothy 2:5 "For [there is] one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
Bishops have Confession (the Rite of Reconciliation of a penitent). You can find it in the Book of Common Prayer and "excuse" could be a misleading term. It's not as if people in the waltz, and shy to make a confession, then go on their happy way. It is much more involved than that.
Here is the Episcopal rite to make a confession: http://www.bcponline.org/PastoralOffices …
The only person who needs to confess to the Lord, no one on earth that can forgive sins.
I do not think that there are religions that have Protestant denomination, so therefore I do not believe that Protestants can go to confession. If there are religions that exist, ignore me.
As a Catholic, I would like to clarify some misconceptions of the confession. First, the priest does not forgive our sins, but for Christ to mediate here on earth. The priest literally absolves us from our sins. God and God as long you do it. It's just there to listen, give advice on how to stop a habitual sin, etc, and give us a form of penance, which is usually in the form of prayer. Personally, I think it shows God (through penance) that is contrite for sins they have committed is necessary. What makes the crime, you pay the time. Contrary to what we all believe, we are very encouraged by what we confess our sins to God in the day to day, and go to confession as often as we can so we can be educated about how sin affects us and our relationship with God and how they can truly show God that we feel for our sins. You have to prove somehow that God you are sorry for your sins and there is nothing wrong with the prison to show that you are contrite.
preist like insurnace brokers ide know I am a cousin (not a priest insurnace agent) who try to sell you somthing you can get on your own.
Confess your sins to God and forgive them.
Apparently not. Romans 10:10 says: "To the man with the heart you cree justice and with the mouth confession is made to salvation, unless you are a Protestant, evangelical or charismatic, in which case you must consult with Pat Robinson and Jerry Falwell fat. "
Nope.

No one of the major differences between the Protestant and Catholic beliefs is the fact that Protestants are supposed to communicate directly with God. Therefore, not the average man (ie, a priest in confessional) that is necessary. The theory is that God will forgive your sins if you ask him, for what it achieves the same as going to confession to a Catholic.
Most Protestants do not believe that men have been authorized to forgive sin, although the Bible says otherwise:
"But that ye may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" - he then said to the paralytic - "Rise, take your bed and go home." "And he got up and went home. When people saw that they were afraid, and glorified God who had given such authority to men. "(Matthew 9:6-8)
"Jesus said to them again," Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so am I sending you. " And when he had said this, breathed on them and told them: "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins they are forgiven; retengáis if any, they are retained. "(John 20:21-23, emphasis mine)
Yes, of course, because everyone has to confess his sins at least once every 3 months
only God can forgive sins … and you can pray in any place, not to be in a church
Sometimes I think of sneaking in a Catholic confessional. I think it would be a good thing to do.
Why people will pray directly to God. you do not need a priest to do it, just ask directly.
