You know how in the Catholic religion can go to confession.

Now, what if … As I have said so if you did something against the law … and wanted to confess your sins are forgiven … Even if you do not tell anyone? (I think you are, but do not know?)

How about just taking the safe route and follow the Bible and confess their sins to Christ as the command and not a priest.
Meet the cult of the dead woman, the priest is probably worse than you are.

The Catholic religion is a fraud.
1Jn 1:5 This then is the message we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all.
1John 1:6 If we say we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and not the truth:
1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as it is light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

God gave everyone free will. There is nothing you or anyone else can do which requires forgiveness of God, or any man falsely claiming to act on their behalf .. can clearly understand this concept by reading Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch .. God bless

Our God is a God who spared very time we pray for forgiveness or to pray in silence, in a confession or to order the acquittal of being acquitted of all their sins. God knows what is in our hearts and we can not deceive him, or do business. If you can humble enough to admit you made a mistake and try to correct that mistake of law which have made a bad start after all …… we are all human and all make mistakes … ….. for error is human but to forgive is divine. I hope this helps.

No. It's called the Sacriment of Reconcilliation / Penitencia for a reason. After confessing sins to a priest who is, give you a penance to perform, based on the sins confessed, to be fully forgiven. It is usually something simple like saying a certain amount of prayers, or someone saying you're sorry. In the case of theft or murder, etc., which are expected to confess to the police, and return the item or a prison Sentance etc. If you do not complete the task, the priest has given you, then you are not forgiven. Simple as that.

I have not done this so I do not know. But my understanding is that if you truly repent and make restitution to confess. So I'm not sure. I'm not sure whether the priest who forgives if you said that you refused to tell anyone or take responsibility.
