Despite all the popular DaVinci Code absurd, there is actually much more evidence to Mary Magdelene being the wife of Joseph of Arimathea, and the aunt of Jesus Christ.
And instead of a prostitute, it is much easier to make the case that she was the woman caught in adultery, and saved by Jesus.
Joseph of Arimathea was a wealthy merchant, and often away from home on the expansion of sea voyages.
Magdelene would not have been the first woman who gets lost in circumstances such as these.
Being rich, in addition to being in relationship with Jesus, was very proper for their support for Jesus work, financial and otherwise.
Married to Joseph of Arimathea, this would also explain his being the first to the empty tomb on Easter Sunday, from the location of the tomb of Joseph would have been well known for her, and she can even start digging their monitoring.

After 9 years of Catholic school, I think it was implied. Now, if you actually read what happened in "The Da Vinci Code" and the uproar of churches around the world, you may agree with me that all believers in the reaction is that Mary Magdalene was the wife of Jesus, and later writers of the Bible had to cover for a saint that was you.

I used to think it was, however, the current teaching is that she was a sinner and was "cured" of sin by Jesus.
He had the misfortune to be introduced directly after the name of a prostitute.

I think it is supposed to be a guardian of Jesus get stoned. (The phrase "He who is without sin cast the first stone).
Many scholars of the Bible (which was on the history channel) I believe that Jesus later marries her.
And the wedding which turned the water into wine was his own wedding.

Catholics have no right to decide something. It is the Bible and the Bible teaches anything.

Thye used to believe this, but it has recently been rehabilitated.
This is a technical term for Catholics when something or someone who was once considered sinful, but is no longer considered sin.
For example, Galileo was condemned as a heretic, Saint Joan of Arc too, but later the church declared that they were innocent and in the case of Saint Joan, declared a saint.
In addition, the actions can be rehabilitated, as Catholics once were forbidden to eat meat on Friday, is now allowed.
If I remember was that Pope Pius XII restored Madgelen Mary.

I am a Catholic and has said from time immemorial that is not ever mentioned in the Bible about Mary Magdalene is a prostitute.
