Asked about the "light at the end of the tunnel" before you die you see …??
well I was doing homework and i was writing a philosophy essay on eschatology Zoroastrain, when I saw this link purgatory .. i click on it, and although, obviously, purgatory is a Christian / Catholic belief i began to start thinking about "light" we hear about people who have near-death experiences. of course, you learn about the philosophy of many religions, so I kept thinking … thought struck me this chance.
if that so-called "light" is not the light of God or heaven or whatever, but instead of * drum roll *…… Renaissance?
I do not want to cause controversy or anything, but it is an interesting thought and I was wondering if you already have thought (I'm sure you have) … and if it did, your name or whatever. I find it fascinating the idea now, but actually I am a Christian, the thought is simply intriguing. * Shrugs *

Personally I have been very close to death, and there is no such thing as seeing the light at the end of the tunnel just before you die!
Therefore, you are saying is that the light of, for example, the lights in the hospital delivery room. Is that true? This is a random thought freaky. I'm not so sure that I like, because I wanted some downtime between lives. Well, I guess there is no rest for the wicked. LOL:)
EDIT: Well, now I have to admit that your question is freaking me out a little. OMG LOL I give one star.
could be, but I believe in going to heaven … could also be that when your brain starts to shut down, your peripheral vision is reduced to first slowly and in all that you can see a small white speck in the center of your field of vision. That might seem to some tunnel vision. This happens when you pass out! Personal experience.
In fact, if we do some medical research, we see that near-death experiences as hallucinations that are caused by oxygen deprivation to the brain. This could add a new perspective to the essay, if not yet complete.
1. Near-death experiences are the result of a brain shutting down due to lack of oxygen.
2. We know how to induce an artificially using ketamine.
3. Most people see what they expect to see - therefore, people of different religions have different experiences.
4. A story in depth: http://skepdic.com/nde.html
Very interesting idea —

We all need to reflect

thanks for sharing.
Light talk about is easily explained by the physiological processes that occur during brain death …
It's just another channel of delivery. Be prepared for another slap on the ass!
The light comes from God. Personally I would not call it God, but I think it's part of it.
