Catholic Vrs. Protestant?

What is the main difference between the Roman Catholic church and the church next to the Pope Prodostant.
Why dose the Catholic Bible have different books that the Protestant Bible dose not? Both are the Word of God .. Is there, indeed, other scripts on the life and death of Jesus Christ, who was lost, not found yet?
Where in the Bible that talk Produstant dose Pergatory?
Why Catholics and Protestants have struggled sooo much ..
We are all in the same Christ, the same scholarship.
This world has too many problems to deal with all the fighting between Catholics, Protestants, we have to get along …..
Where is a good place to buy arromic. annoyting oils? As in a church. I tried a Christian bookstore, but they are too expensive .. I do not want to buy from stores that also sell hidden or new age and type of trash garbadge, or demonic, symbols or anti God in him ..

    + + Differences
I think the main difference between the Catholic Church and the Protestant Church is the source of doctrine.
The Catholic Church does not use Scripture as the only basis of doctrine. I could not. The early Catholic church existed before and during the time the New Testament was written (by Catholics).
There were hundreds of Christian writings during the first and second centuries. New Testament writings would become official was not fully decided until about 400 AD.
Catholics believe the Holy Spirit was guiding the early church (and is now rector of the church) to make the correct choice on things like:
+ The Holy Trinity (which is only hinted at in the Bible)
+ Go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday (which is actually directly against one of the Ten Commandments)
      + Communion of Saints
+ What are written in the New Testament?
Things that are even more modern and
+ Slavery is bad. Slavery is never declared evil in the Bible. This was one of the justifications for slavery in the Confederate States.
+ Democracy is good. The Bible says that God must either be the leader of the nation like Israel before the kings or kings should be the leader, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's." This has been much talk during the American Revolution.
This second source of doctrine is called Holy Tradition.
      + + The Bible
The canon of the New Testament of the Bible Catholic and Protestant Bible are the same.
The difference in the Old Testament actually goes back to the time before and during the life of Christ. At this time, there is no official Jewish canon of Scripture.
The Jews in Egypt translated their choices of the Hebrew Scriptures into Greek in the second century before Christ. This translation, called the Septuagint, with extensive use in the Roman world because most Jews lived far from Palestine in Greek cities. Many of these Jews spoke only Greek.
The early Christian Church was born in this world. The Church, with its bilingual Jews and more and more Greek-speaking Gentiles, used the books of the Septuagint as their Bible. Remember that the first Christian documents were written in what became the New Testament.
After the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, with increasing persecution from the Romans and competition from the fledgling Christian Church, the Jewish leaders met and declared the official canon of Scripture, eliminating seven books of the Septuagint .
The books were removed Tobit, Judith, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Wisdom (of Solomon), Sirach and Baruch. Parts of the books were also removed including Psalm 151 (from Psalms), parts of the Book of Esther, Susanna (from Daniel as chapter 13), and Bel and the Dragon (from Daniel in chapter 14).
The Christian Church did not follow suit, but keeps all the books in the Septuagint.
1500 years later, Protestants decided to change its Old Testament canon of the Catholic canon to the Jews. Books that fell sometimes called the Apocrypha.
      Purgatory + +
"But if someone's work is burned up, it will suffer a loss, the person is saved, but only through fire." (1 Corinthians 3:15)
"Thus the authenticity of their faith, more precious than gold which is perishable evidence, though by fire, may be praise, glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 1:7)
Is it perfect now? Most people would say no.
Will it be perfect in heaven? Most people believe so.
Purgatory (or purgation) is the process of God's love changing our imperfect beings themselves perfect.
Depending on the amount of change required by different people, this may be a little easier or process.
Everyone in purgatory is on its way to heaven.
I do not think Mother Teresa of Calcutta had a very hard time of it.
      + With love in Christ.

the basic differences are how the rituals and ceremonies are performed. other than these small differences are about the same as what I can determine, in my own mind.

I think the Protostant does not collect the money as in the Catholic Church. Every religion believes in one God. There is only one God. We all just call it something different in each religion.

Jesus selected Peter as head of the early church, through the years and the head of the church was affectionately called Papa. Through the ministry and leadership of the first pope, Peter, the church in spreading the Good News and continued through traditions that began 2000 years ago, the church has continued generation after generation, the successor of Peter.
      Reference John 21:15-17:
When we had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said, "Yes, Lord, thou knowest that I love you." He told him: Feed my lambs. " He then told a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said, "Yes, Lord, thou knowest that I love you." He said: "Tend my sheep." He told the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed that he had told him a third time, "Do you love me?" And he said: "Lord, you know everything, you know I love you. " (Jesus) said, "Feed my sheep."
The Catholic Church compiled the Bible more than 1600 years ago. During the Protestant Reformation 500 years ago, the protesters decided to remove seven books of the Bible. Is speculated that they did to conveniently remove the articles of faith that they did not want. The Catholic Church has kept the Bible in its original form (73 sacred texts). In fact, the Protestants also really wanted to remove three books of the New Testament, but this met with such outrage that not doing so. Therefore, only 66 Protestant sacred texts of the Word of God (though some Protestant Bibles included the seven books in the back). The seven sacred texts that have been removed from the Protestant Bible are Tobit, Judith, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Wisdom of Solomon, Sirach (or Ecclesaisticus) and Baruch.
Purgatory claims scriptural basis in both the Old and New Testament: 2Mc. 12:39-45, 1Cor. 3.15 and 1Pt.1 7. Note that 2 Maccabees was removed from the Bible by the Protestants.

The used to have the Protestant Bible deuterocanonicals (apochrypha) or more books, until the Puritans. The Bible has no such doctrine as Pergatory. Its beautiful
RC a long tradition, that's all.
I have never seen any less aromatic anointing oils. You can try the book store in TBN.org. But I do not think it will be cheap, as imports from Israel.
Personally, I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Nonarom necessary.

The real question in religious matters is eternal life. What matter if we go through difficulties in this area over 70 years or so, the question is where to spend millions ANDS millions of years in eternity .. In torment in hell or heaven. Therefore, it is important to ask why - is important.
The main difference between Catholics and Protestants is how saved. Protestants believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and faith alone. Catholics do not believe that, so the question is who really are Christians, and the answer is no. Additional books in the Bible have never been accepted as the Books of the Bible, and although they may have some historical information that has value can not be inspired by God and therefore have an error in them, because they are human writings. That is where most of the error is in Catholicism. As far as other books, why do we need, we have shown us the way to heaven through Christ, why take more?
The Protestant Bible does not speak of purgatory is a Catholic doctrine. Hell is eternal, clearly taught in the Bible.
We "fight" because they are not in the same Christ, the Christ of the Catholics is a totally different than the Christ of the Bible, they are not in communion with them.

    . very good question
in the Bible is apocryphal texts, or texts "not inspired by the divine word of God" can not agree on who are and are not apocryphal, they leave the chapter that mentions purgatory, not by name.
another common mistake is the "worship of saints and Mary.
even there, and our Bible tells us to call her a saint.
Finally, writing and tradition, while Protestants believe in the writing itself, Catholics believe in Scripture and tradition, as it should be said that within the Bible.
as for oil, and go to a monastery or in any one of the sanctuaries

  9. countryb says:

The Protestant Reformation took place under Martin Luther. The hierarchy of the church thought they had absolute authority, and people were not allowed to read the Bible. Martin Luther fled to Germany and translated the Bible so that everyone can read the Scriptures. No mention of purgatory in the Scriptures. It was a way to get money from people to prayer is said for those who were supposed to be in purgatory. Additional books of CR. really have not been authenticated by Christian scholars. The Catholic Church is more interested in maintaining the Vatican takes her pomp and private police in the Word of God.

My anws is that religions are not just followers of God. Christians are united to Jesus and under his guidance in the rule-ship through the Holy Spirit. I suggest studying the Bible in terms of the criteria that determines what is God's "church" and how to distinguish true Christians from the rest of the world.
