Wrong. The confession must be genuine and sincere, and repentance, because otherwise it means nothing. Do not assume.

I'm guessing you're a casual observer. The IRA are Marxists in Ireland, which is incompatible with Catholicism. Still, if you understand the confession, part of the efforts being contrite and seek, with God's grace not to sin again in that way. If the penitent has no intention of turning from your sin, then it is a "bad faith" and that really are not forgiven. You can not manipulate God, as I am sure you are aware of.
The question of Northern Ireland is political not religious. The media, which is always looking for shortcuts, not the whole story, participants were asked to Catholics and Protestants.
The dispute is about whether the British territory (probably the right word) of Northern Ireland should remain British or should be part of Ireland.
Most people in Ireland are Catholic. Most people in England and Northern Ireland are Protestants. In fact, there are Catholics and Protestants on both sides.
The terrorists on both sides of the issue are not Christian in any sense.

not object to Christianity is a sin as little as u can. be a good person and live ur life to the fullest. if u mess and go to confession and God forgives all because u mess up sometimes, but good enough for us to forgive our sins.

We are not more or less hypocritical than anyone else. Is the IRA still fighting the British Army? They are the UDA, UDF, or the Royal Army less violent? At least as Catholics we know where to go and seek guidance and forgiveness. I do not think that makes me a hypocrite I must admit that many errors to be corrected. How many weeks are you sinless?
