Because they believe that what others say rather than just ask us …
The meaning of the word 'worship' means to place something in his divinity. We do not believe that a string or an icon is divine, only believe Jesus is divine.
You'll find that many are ignorant of the true Church of Jesus, which is a shame because you never know the fullness of Christ through the Eucharist, which we have been blessed with. I understand your frustration, but remember, through discussion and exchange of the calm that know the truth. By learning the truth, coming to know Jesus, for coming to know Jesus and His word, they will come to the Church. Remember, the great Protestant scholars as they seek to find and break up the church, more often than not you learn that those who are in evil and conversion to Catholicism - see Dr. Scott Hahn.

It is right to warn people against the sin of idolatry when they are committing. Calling Catholics, but they are idolatrous images of Christ and saints is based on ignorance or misunderstanding of what the Bible says about the purpose and uses (both good or bad) of statues.
Fight Catholic writer Loraine Boettner, in his book Roman Catholicism, makes the blanket statement, "God has forbidden the use of images of worship" (281). However, if people are "the Scriptures" (cf. John 5:39), they would find the opposite is true. God forbids the worship of statues, but does not prohibit the use of religious statues. Instead, he actually commanded their use in religious contexts!

We do not worship statues, the cult Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Do not pray to Mary, which I invite you to pray for us Holy Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death "(Ave Maria). Ask Mary or a saint to pray for us, it is no different than asking a friend or family member to pray for you when you are going through a difficult time.
I feel terrible for those who feel they can not ask others to pray for them, should be a very lonely existence on earth. God put us here to love and care for each other, what is greater expression of love for another person of prayer? What greater act of kindness is beyond prayer?
One must always remember that only through the Son, you can reach the Father.

Because I do not understand the difference … And because all too often simply take the word of someone else so that instead of finding themselves. "The Catholics are pagans! Pray for them to tax the pictures and stuff! "Wrong! People who do not understand what Catholics do and why you should ask a Catholic. (What a novelty!) The same applies to any religion.
I used to live in a city in which the different denominations of churches have no problem with the beliefs of others, has along with Catholics Baptists, Methodists do not enter into strife with the Presbyterian … Sometimes I miss that place.

Hollywood …….. watch any movie portrays Catholics and that is what we see ……… I am Baptist, but I have a Catholic friend explained that many of my questions to me. Although we do not agree in our practices, support their right to worship as they choose and does the same for me …….

I remember saying to pray with Mary us.Ok. moses There is only one god there is no reason to ask someone who has died to pray pplus never said in the Book Mary went to heaven it assuming.Plus Just pray to God. I want to say about Mary, but I will not thank your god, it did everything.

The Bible tells us there are only mediator between God and man is the man Jesus Christ. The qualifications of a priest in the paper tells us that Timothy should be married and be the husband of a woman holding her Childrn and one that ruleth his house, if your house is not in order, how can rule the house of God, the Bible tells us not to bow to pray to angels or saints.
We are told in Matthew, Jesus own words, to call anyone on earth your Father, which is reserved for our Father in Heaven. You say that Mary went, Where is written Believe me this is just the tip of the iceberg,
For Catholics, the Bible is secondary to men in Rome and even a Christian religion. Which have become something more.
The religion of Babylon of the Romans still lives in you.

I guess that's because of all these stories about people who have attacks of rapture because some images that may or may not look like Jesus or Mary is Someones in Cassava. Or something red starts to drip some statue of Jesus and suddenly the place becomes a sanctuary. If you do not want to be accused of worshiping statues (and I do not think that Catholics are taught to worship anyone but God), then something must be done to control these excessive emotional displays. That reflects badly on all Catholics. And I do not think that God needs to show that drip statues He is God, or to convince anyone of anything.

There are statues of Mary, Jesus, saints, apostles, and in many Catholic churches. Kneel and offer prayers in front of statues - Do you think it might have something to do with it? What does the 12 stations of the cross in front of one of the paintings or statues during Lent. BTW: write your "sense" and not "sense". "Because" and not "because". And the qoute that the Ten Commandments have a point because one of the commandments is "Do not worship any images taxed, but your knee in front of statues of Jesus on the cross. It is not getting all mixed. DO you worship "images" and this proves it.

Only a fool would believe that Mary could hear their prayers. Mary is dead. The dead can not hear their prayers.

When Catholics pray to Mary, it is thanks to him for anything except to do God's will and agree to give birth to Jesus. All other sentences were to ask Mary to pray with us when we pray to God.
Did you ever ask your family or friends to pray for their intentions? For Catholics, Mary and the saints in heaven are a part of our circle of friends and family.
If you say it is wrong to ask Mary and the saints to pray for and with us, then you must also say that it is wrong to ask friends and family in this life and to pray for you.
