Yes, that's a rather old, actually. Alexander Hislop, who escribió''El Two Babylons''en 1916 was a great pleasure to remember how the bishop of the miter is similar to that of Dagon. Hislop refer specifically to the papal miter, as any self-respect of the Church of England clergyman (see page 215).
