  1. fanofcha says:

Catholics believe that she was not a sinner ……………… however, there is no biblical basis for this.
She was a common person and God used to be the Mother of Jesus. However, you also need a Savior ………….

  2. ♥♫J€§§¡¢ says:

Some Catholics believe Mary did not sin. But there is no writing stating specifically that Mary was without sin. She was free of original sin so it would be worthy of carrying Jesus in her womb. Mary has acknowledged the need for a Savior himself, implying that he knew he was a sinner.
"And Mary said: My soul is magnify the Lord and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior." Luke 1:46-47
"He made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that may be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:21
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
"As it is written: No fair, no, not one:" Romans 3:10
"In the event that there is only one man on earth, and does not sin." Ecclesiastes 7:20
"Therefore as by one man sin entered the world, of sin and death, and death to happen to all men for all have sinned" Romans 5:12
"They are all gone off the road, are unprofitable together, then there is none good, no, not one." Romans 3:12
Jesus DID NOT exalt Mary, and insisted that those who do the will of God be blessed, not those who exalted Mary, as the next step. That does not mean she could not ask to intercede on our behalf, or that recognizes an incredible woman.
"… A woman in the company raised his voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare you, and the PAP, which has sucked. But he [Jesus] said: Yes and no, Blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it. " Luke 11:27-28
ETA :***** ***** There was a Pope who said that part of the doctrine that Mary was without sin. I forget the pope at this time. That is why many Catholics believe to be true, because we will accept the word of the Pope who sits on the papal chair as we all see that his word is God. Obviously this would conflict with what is in Scripture. And for questions like this that God gave us all brains to decide on our own rather than blindly accept the claims of someone else.

  3. sparki77 says:

Luke 1:28: "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
What does the fullness of grace "mean? This means that the fullness of grace that God can give a person, which means full and complete absolution of all sins, a complete and irrevocable clearing any trace of sin.
The angel greeted Mary and identified as a person who had already received the fullness of grace, which means it was without sin.
BTW, most of the Protestant version of Luke using a very loose (and poor) translation of the Greek words here, so that leaves a paltry "very encouraged" or something. To check what I have written previously, learning Greek and studying the passage yourself. You see that "heavily favored" is a bad translation, by the way used by Protestants who want to minimize the role of Mary in Scripture. The phrase can not be translated literally because it is a title and we do not have a degree in English means the same thing, but "you who are the majority of Grace" or "you have received the fullness of grace" are nearby.

  4. rpphr says:

Catholicism is that it was a prostitute …. had to do something to demonize her ….

  5. Mable VT is thinking, kinda says:

He was human. All human beings are sinners. She must be a sinner.

  6. James Wrotten says:

No, she was the Virgin Mary, without sin.
Alittle long, but I think that this could not answer that secure lol.

  7. imacatho says:

When the angel Gabriel called Mary, "full of grace", as Maria Full of Grace.
When the angel Gabriel said: "The Lord is with you," the Lord was with her.
Mary was in a state of grace before she says "yes" to the angel of the issue and before the Holy Spirit came to her for a different purpose.
When Mary became a state of grace to begin?
Catholics that this state of grace was with Mary from her Immaculate Conception. This means that Mary was conceived in the normal way (not Jesus), but do not inherit original sin.
With God's grace and without the effects of original sin, we believe that Mary committed no sin at any time during their life.
God has prepared for his later role as the mother of Jesus.
Catholics celebrate this miracle on December 8 as the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

      With love in Christ.

  8. great gig in the sky says:

No, as the chosen vessel of God, she was pure. Otherwise, I could not have been the mother of our Lord. The angels in Luke, Chapter 1, praised as "full of grace." And she gladly did the will of God. This is the opposite of being a sinner.

  9. Daver says:

Mary - the Immaculate Ark of the New Partnership
Exodus 25:11-21 - the ark of the Old Covenant was made of pure gold of God's Word. Mary is the Ark of the New Partnership and is the most pure vessel of God's Word made flesh.
2 Sam. 6:7 - the ship is so holy and pure that touched him Uzzah when the Lord killed him. This shows us that the ship is undefiled. Mary, the Ark of the New Covenant is even more immaculate and undefiled, free from original sin from God to enable him to carry His eternal Word in her womb.
1 Chron. 13:9-10 - this is another account Uzzah and the Ark of God to dwell within the ship Mary, Mary had to be conceived without sin. For Protestants to argue otherwise would be to say that God let the finger of Satan touches his Son made flesh. This is incomprehensible.
1 Chron. 15 and 16 - these verses show the great reverence of the Jews had the ship - veneration, costumes, songs, harp, lira, cymbals, trumpets.
Luke 1:39 / 2 Sam. 6:2 - Lucas conspicuous in the comparison between Mary and the Ark of Samuel described highlights the reality of Mary as the immaculate and undefiled Ark of the New Partnership. In these verses, Mary (the Ark) and left / David arose and went to the Ark. There is a clear parallel between the Ark of the Old and the New Ark of the Covenant.
Luke 1:41 / 2 Sam. 6:16 - John the Baptist / King David before jumping for joy Mary / Ark then must jump for joy before Mary, the Immaculate Ark of the Word made flesh.
Luke 1:43 / 2 Sam. 6:9 - How can the mother and the Ark of the Lord come to me? It is a sacred privilege. Our Mother would come to us and leads us to Jesus.
Luke 1:56 / 2 Sam. 6:11 and 1 Chron. 13:14 - Maria / the ship was in the house for about three months.
Rev 11:19 - at this moment in history, the Ark of the Old Covenant was not seen for six centuries (see 2 macc. 2:7), and now is finally seen in heaven. The Jewish people would have been absolutely amazed by this. However, John immediately passes this fact and describes the "woman" clothed with the sun in Rev. 12:1. John is emphasizing that Mary is the Ark of the New Covenant and that, like the old chest, is now worthy of veneration and praise. Also remember that Rev. 11:19 and Rev. 12:1 are tied because there is no chapter and verse at the time these texts were written.
Rev 12:1 - the "woman" that John is describing is Mary, the Ark of the New Partnership, with the moon under her feet and her head a crown of twelve stars. Just as the moon reflects light from the sun, so Mary, with the moon under her feet, reflects the glory of the Sun of Justice, Jesus Christ.
Rev. 12:17 - this verse tells us that Mary is the offspring of those who keep God's commandments and bear witness to Jesus. This shows, as Catholics have always believed that Mary is the Mother of all Christians.
Rev. 12:2 - Some Protestants argue that because women had pains, was a woman of sin. However, Revelation is apocalyptic literature unique to the 1st century. Symbolism containing varied and multiple meanings of women (Mary, the Church and Israel). Birth pangs describe the birth of Mary and the Church was formed in the offspring of Christ. Mary did not birth pangs in the delivery of his only Son Jesus.
Isaiah 66:7 - for example, see Isaiah prophesies that before she (Mary) was in labor she gave birth before her pain came to her she gave birth to a son (Jesus). This is a prophecy of the virgin birth to Mary of Jesus Christ.
Gal 4:19 - Paul also described their pain as the birth pangs in the formation of the disciples of Christ. Birth pangs describe the formation in Christ.
Rom. 8:22 - well, Paul says the whole creation has been groaning in labor before the coming of Christ. We are all under pain of childbirth because we are reborn in Christ.
Jer. 13:21 - Jeremiah describes the birth pangs of Israel, as a woman at work. Birth pangs are often used metaphorically in Scripture.
Os. 13:12-13 - Ephraim travailing also described as the birth of their sins. Once again, the pains of childbirth are used metaphorically.
Micah 4:9-10 - Micah also describes Jerusalem as seized by the pains of childbirth as a woman at work.
Rev. 12:13-16 - in these verses, we see that even the devil seeks to destroy the woman, even after the Savior has been born. This shows Mary is a danger to the devil, even after the birth of Christ. This is because God has given him the power to intercede for us, and we must rely on your help in our spiritual life.

  10. Jonel B says:

    No.
On behalf of the truth, our Virgin was not a sinner. She was chosen by God to bring his son to save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).
He was also chosen by God not to inherit the original sin committed by our first parents (Adam and Eve). God wants to be because women bear the savior of the world must be a clean hole in the belly, to a woman who has no sin.
Mary, Mother of Christ and an Immaculate Mother is honored as blessed among women. (Luke 1:48).

  11. Anonymous says:

    no
Have you ever heard someone say mary is a sinnner?
of course shes not shes the mother of Jesus. She was a virgin when she did. Why Catholics think shes a sinner

  12. blueberr says:

I do not think it is not

  13. debbie22 says:

Mary was born … which is the test.
Any person born under the sin of Adam … around the world die.
Perfect people ended with Adam and Eve … around the world is imperfect.
Jesus was born perfect, because Mary is the incubator babies God put there in its womb.He had no earthly father.
Catholics believe that it is free from sin and the mother of God.

  14. Ray J says:

Mary was a sinner. She was born without original sin, therefore, the Immaculate Conception (yours).

  15. mike says:

Paul writes in Romans "all have sinned, and the height of the glory of God", not everyone except Mary.

  16. Darth Eugene Vader says:

Catholis believe that never sinned, but they also believe that she was born in a special way, without original sin. The rest of the Christians believe that Mary has not committed a sin in relation to Jesus' conception, but we do not believe that she never told a lie, or steal money from his sister or father.
All mankind (except Jesus) is included in "all" in Romans 3:23. Jesus is the only exception because El Salvador was sent by God.
      22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all and all who believe. Since there is no difference;
23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,
24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
