For Catholics: What do you think happened to Mary. What cree on the Saints?
Is it true that you think you can not talk directly to Jesus because you think he is too busy? Is it true that I think Mary is the Queen of the Angels (not show this in the Bible)?
- Catholics, How big is Mary Among the saints?
- Catholicism: You can pray to saints and Mary?
- Catholics pray to Mary and the saints for intervention. Why is it that the Saints Prayers Receive?
- Why so many people think Catholics Worship Mary? And the Saints? As worshipers of idols?
- Catholics: Why pray to Mary and the saints? Why Confess your sins to a man?

The official position of the RCC is that Jesus is the only Savior of mankind and creation, a person of the Trinity, and God.
Mary is believed to have been born without original sin, but still human - it is only by the extraordinary grace that was saved, and just because it was necessary to have a perfect vessel for the Incarnation. Mary is * NOT * Jesus, who was the Immaculate Conception. Jesus was the formation of the Incarnation. This special grace was given to her in recognition of his perfect confidence and faith.
Mary and the Saints are not worshiped. Prayer is communication with those in heaven, 'and not interpretted differently as a cell phone to call his still-living family members.
The Church prays to Jesus and he loves, and the Father and the Paraclete.
Prayer to the saints and Mary is for two purposes - to ask for your prayers added (like asking your mom to help pray for your healing when you're sick) and leave your life of devotion inspire us to a life of devotion. NO is the worship of saints or the saints are mediators. Jesus is the way to the Father and the saints are unnecessary, but useful signals that help mankind to the point Jesus.
As a Catholic, I just raised to believe that Mary is the mother of Jesus.
We speak directly with Jesus is never too busy.
Christians like to attack and criticize the Catholics and the use as an excuse to do so.
Hablamos profess Jesus and He is the only way to heaven. We believe that Mary was "assumed" (body, mind and soul) by Jesus in heaven (in Revelation "There appeared a great bearing clothed with the sun, standing on the Moon"). We believe that Jesus is supposed to be saints. We all hope that we assume Jeusus.
Pretend you're in a family, and his brother Jesus has a car. Want to borrow the car. It has not been the best sister / brother. So rather than just go to him to go to mom (Mary) and ask for help. Mary to see that your heart is good and car loans is good. Go to it and that next to Jesus and ask permission to borrow the car. It can be a lawyer who gives comfort to ask. Apart from that could help you open your eyes to see what Jesus would want him on the way for Jesus. This does not mean we can force him to give Jesus the car, but surely that is the love of a mother.
LOL! oh my God. This is a new one on me. I've never heard it said that not talking to Jesus.
I spent much time talking with Jesus.
Who has told you these things filled his head with garbage.
With one exception …
Do you believe that Jesus is the King of Kings? King of the angels?
If you read the Bible, both 1 Kings and 2 Kings, you see that it is always the king who is the mother of the queen. Not the wife of the king.
If Mary is the mother of Jesus (Luke 1:43) and he is the king (Matthew 27:11), then she is the queen.
1 Kings 15:13 (New International Version)
13 Even his grandmother Maacah deposed from his position as queen mother, because she has a repulsive Asherah pole. Cutting and burning wood in the valley of Kidron.
2 Kings 10:13 (New International Version)
met some relatives of Ahaziah king of Judah and asked, "Who are you?"
They said: "We are relatives of Ahaziah, and we have come to greet the family of the king and the queen mother."
Jeremiah 13:18 (New International Version)
Say to the king and the queen mother,
"Come down from their thrones,
Its glorious crown
Fall from his head. "
Jeremiah 29:2 (New International Version)
(This was after King Jehoiachin [a] and the queen mother, the court officials and the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and artisans have gone into exile from Jerusalem.)
So hopefully, something that is not specifically mentioned in the Bible is not valid?
Yes, like the apostles, never talked about how the Trinity, so it should not be true. Or the nature of the hypostatic union (Christ is both human and divine). Also false, I guess.
Oh wait! Tradition!
JennJenn: Wait, what are you talking about? What does this have to do with me being closed-minded, etc.? You acknowledge the authority of Scripture, but not the authority of the Church that formed the Council decided that what the Bible books were included?
We can and do often speak directly to Jesus. Only once in a while we ask people like family, friends, and saints in heaven to pray for us.
Santos + +
Before Jesus Christ died for our sins and opened the gates of heaven there are no saints in heaven. Therefore, there is no written mention of the Old Testament.
Very few of the new Christians died before most of the New Testament was written. Therefore there is little in the Bible about asking saints to pray for us.
However, the last book of the Bible does not speak of the saints in heaven praying.
Revelation 5:8: Each of the elders held a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Revelation 8:3-4: He was given a large quantity of incense to offer, along with the prayers of all saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. The smoke of incense with the prayers of the saints ascended before God from the angel's hand.
The Holy Spirit guided the early Church in many things not explained in the Bible including the manner in which the Body of Christ (believers) living on Earth relate to the Body of Christ (saints) living in the sky . We are still one Body.
We share the view of Catholics in the Communion of Saints with many other Christians, including Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, Episcopal and Methodist Churches.
The Communion of Saints is the belief that all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When it dies and goes to heaven, do not let this family.
Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints, you, me, my deceased grandmother, Mary, the mother of Jesus, Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II.
As part of this family, you can ask your family and friends living here on earth to pray for you. Or, you can also ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Andrew, or your deceased grandmother living in heaven to pray for you.
Prayer to the saints in heaven is simple communication, not worship.
And the prayer of the saints is not optional required.http: / / http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1s …
+ + The Blessed Virgin Mary
"Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee" (Luke 1:28)
"Blessed are you amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb "(Luke 1:42).
In Luke 1:48, Mary prophesied, "From now on all generations will call me blessed."
A question for Christians who take the Bible literally: Do you call Mary "blessed"? If not, why?
The Hail Mary prayer simply recites passages from the Bible (the Word of God) and asks Mary to pray for us:
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you. (These are the words that the angel Gabriel said to Mary, a Bible quote.)
Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. (This is Mary's cousin Elizabeth's greeting, another biblical quotation.)
Santa Maria, (The angel Gabriel said he was full of grace and Elizabeth says he was blessed.)
Mother of God (the Bible says that Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God)
Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. (A simple request to pray for us.)
Amen.http: / / http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt4s …
+ Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, angels +
Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ who is God the Son, and therefore can be addressed as the Mother of God.
This is similar to a commoner who marries a king and becomes the mother of the next king. She is entitled to the title of Queen Mother and the King even though she is not royalty.
No one hundred, five hundred or a thousand years ago, would have been confused about these terms.
But this is difficult to understand for the people in these times when royalty and the kings and queens are few and far between.
+ With love in Christ.
<<For Catholics: What do you think about Mary. What do you think about the Saints?>>
I can say this much - is not what we have come to think Catholics believe it!
<<Is cree It is true that you can not talk directly with Jesús, because you think it is too busy?>>
No, and I would like to see where you cree that appears in the Bible!
<<Is think it is true that Mary is the Queen of Angels (show where it says this in the bible)?>>
No. can not be a Mary Queen of Angels, because it is not an angel. Mary is the Queen of Spain David New. here is some of the Scriptures for consideration:
Mary is our Mother and Queen of Spain David New
John 19:26 - Jesus Mary, Mother of us all as He dies on the Cross saying, "Behold your mother." Jesus did not say "John, behold your mother" and that Mary gave all us, his beloved disciples. All the words that Jesus spoke on the Cross had a divine purpose. Jesus is not just telling John to care for her mother.
Rev. 12:17 - this verse shows the meaning of John 19:26. The "woman" (Mary) are the children who follow Jesus. She is our Mother and we are their progeny in Jesus Christ. The master plan of God's covenant love for us is the family. But we can not be a complete family with the fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Christ Motherhood of Mary.
John 2:3 - that is a very significant verse from Scripture. As our mother, Mary tells us all to do what Jesus says. In addition, the intercession of Mary at the wedding of Cana triggers the ministry of Jesus and a foreshadowing of the Eucharistic celebration of the Lamb. This celebration unites all believers in a famiy through marriage of divinity and humanity.
John 2:7 - Jesus allows his mother to intercede for the people in his name, and responds to the request of his mother's service order to fill the jars with water.
Psalm 45:9 - the psalmist teaches that the Queen is on the right hand of God. The role of the Queen is important in the kingdom of God. Mary, Queen of Heaven is on the right hand of the Son of God.
1 Kings 2:17, 20 - David in the Old Testament kingdom, the king does not refuse to his mother. Jesus is the new King David, and he does not reject the requests of his mother Mary, the Queen.
1 Kings 2:18 - David in the Old Testament kingdom, Queen intercedes on behalf of supporters of the King. She is the queen mother (or "Gebirah). Mary is our eternal Gebirah.
1 Kings 2:19 - in the Old Testament King David reign arches her mother and she sits on his right hand. We, as children of the New Covenant, we should imitate the King and pay tribute to Mary our Mother. In honor of Mary, we honor our King, Jesus Christ.
1 Kings 15:13 - The Queen Mother is a position of real power in the monarchy of Israel. Here the queen is removed. But now, the kingdom of David is perfected by Jesus and Mary is our Mother forever in his right hand.
2 Chron. 22:10 - here the Queen Mother Athalia destroys the royal family of Judah after she sees her son, King Ahaziah killed. Queen mother played an important role in the kingdom.
Neh. 2:6 - the Queen Mother sits beside the King. She is the principal intercessor before the King.
Most people who ask questions like this are not really interested in the replies. (Unless, of course, is that I think the answer is.) Just want to quote Scripture and strength .. if there is traffic jam in interpreting the throats of others. They are usually rude dogmatic, narrow-minded, and generally unpleasant people with answers for everything. But perhaps this is not you ..?
Christianity is just that .. to love, to heal, to follow a guideline.
Not because of the Internet and to denigrate the other arguments of religion.
Mary is the mother of Jesus.
We prayer to Jesus that he is never busy.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with you.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
pray for us sinners,
now and in the hour of our death.
Amen.
Catholic - Holy Rosary
Thank you.
What are you talking about?
Catholics do not believe that Jesus is too busy
and the Virgin Mary is the Mother of Jesus.
I believe that Mary was a virgin and the saints are people who suffered and were martyred. As a Catholic I do not "love" or holy mary i just ask for his intercession to Jesus .. But it is very clear to me that God and Jesus are the most important.
