How many believe Catholicism teaches that Mary was divine?

No, of course not. America fundementalists believe everything that is said to them about the Catholics. You know, your grace. They talk about how to block Catholics with the Pope in March, but they are more likely to go along with his ministers for questioning that day are all Catholics.
Mary was not divine. I thought that Catholics believe, because of the extra books added to their bible, known Apacrifa (I've written worse) and it states accended Mary to Heaven.

I believe that the Catholic religion perpetuates this belief, as put more emphasis on Mary and pray with her, even when the Bible says clearly that we only pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. N where the Bible says we should pray to anyone else nor condone such action. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God and not come to God except through Christ.
Mary was a human being, but there are distinctions about Mary that are unique to their role as Mother of the Divine Savior. Moreover, as St. Paul says we are joint heirs with Christ, who have an interest in his divinity. We believe that Mary is a member of the Holy Communion of Saints, co-heirs with Christ and being in possession of that sublime spiritual union with the Trinity, and indeed of the divine order in heaven.
Mary as Mother of Christ, was given the gift of motherhood and virginity in the conception without sin. In this way the Lord was able to go into a place worthy of his divinity. Mary is a supreme tent, a shed of the Divine glory.

i always believed that because the Catholic Church has a vigil for the Virgin Mary that can light candles and pray. They have their statue in the Church throughout the world more than Jesus
