I am confused about my religion. Anyone can help?
I am a girl of 14 years living in the U.S. All my life my family has tought me to believe by my church. I am Catholic and I am also of the Church of Santa Ana. I am a year behind in my CCD classes, so that next year I will be confirmation. Throughout my life, and I know that I am still young, I have to fight. (I have family problems. Eg: parents are divorced and live with the grandparents all my life)
Because of this I sometimes feel that there is no God but ignors me or with me. I wonder, "Why is this happening to me? Why can not I see my family, "Why, why, and then ask me …."" What about everybody else in the world who have less than me? Why do that to them? "Etc …
At the same time, when I pray at night I feel good about myself. It makes me feel comfterablle. It's almost as if I've done my good deed of the day. I pray for the people around me and even my dog is dying.
On a personal note, I have trouble sleeping. I wont go into it, but to do so soon. If I = I have not read my problems. If I pray = sleep quite quickly.
Also ask questions about my church. Former "Why not aloud to marry gays? Why do women refused to be a priest ?…"
My belief is: God made us. Yes, and He makes us who we are. He decides what is to be like life, boy / girl. What are we going to have life. Who will influence us.He decides whether homosexual or not. (BTW, I am not gay / bi, but I support people who are.)
My grandmother told me today. "God does not care about religion that cares for you."
Then I read on the Internet, "Remember, gather to worship God is not a religion. The man is the one that makes it a religion. "
Now, although I have said all this, I am a believer in science.
I am very confused and I think it is because of my belief in science. For example: I also think that maybe God created the Earth, but everything was changing. He created the animals here and we were all able to live here, but maybe he did not create the Earth. Maybe he has created us because He knew he could do for us to survive here.
Oh, and just added, I do not understand the point of confession. If I want to confess something, I think I can do with people who through a trust or God for the prayers.

One of his problems is that the catholic church dose not want you to read the Bible. If you do not have most of your questions.

He asserted that Catholic priests were more than equal to Jesus and God. " That is so untrue and covetous of him / them.
If not I say my prayers at night I will not sleep, either, for a long time.

By the time I was your age, the idea of a sky father was long gone …. simply because I could not understand that if there was a God and he was the kind, good, love and all powerful, why let the wars? Then in college I took classes in comparative religions, and studying the Bible, and learned how they are all equal (virgins are popular, power of churches or sorcerers have always been to enrich, which was held — - authority, a parent and a child, even appears in Ancient Egypt to Osiris, Isis and Horus.)

Nobody in this world is forever completlly happy or satisfied with their lives. Never look at things that you did not receive in life. God is already there so we believe in it.

Open your Bible to the Gospel of John and start reading. Get a notebook and take notes on the Word of God!
See what Jesus says of himself. This verse says that God will find if you search for Him with all your heart!

(Jeremiah 29:12) Then ask me, and you must go to pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Appears to be half an agnostic, as my sister, who is trying to conform to the facts of their religion. To be honest, it really does not matter what religion you choose, provided they do not end up pushing it on others or harm to others.
If you choose to believe in God, that is their choice. No need to believe in religion a higher power. You feel confused, fearful, and anxious moments. That is good. That's normal. If you want to understand that these thoughts and emotions come from, read about positive psychology. If you want to understand how humans came to be reading about anthropology. If you want to know what to believe, look at the philosophy and religion. Many other people have asked these same questions and have an idea about it. Above all, use your mind and not be afraid to ask questions. You're doing great so far.
You are on track, dear. you have to think and question and search people as you can and you can actually achieve change in the good Christian society with so many mistaken notions about the religion and god.
