I converted to Catholicism?
Hello. I am a 15 year old Protestant Christian, who lives in a strongly Protestant family. I am impressed to join the Catholic Church because I believe it is more scriptural. I seem to agree with them in the main Protestant v Catholic issues, including Mary, homosexuality, etc purgatory
I have something of the conversion, however, and this is the thought of my family how much they hate. Also, i still feel affection for my church, although I believe that Catholicism is better. If i turn and challenge being baptized and confirmed a Catholic, no i was not to honor my parents? Besides, what suggests telling you of my decision?
Thank you,
Juan.

Talk to your parents, I am sure you understand, tell them why you want to tell them you are a Catholic believes in Jesus and not that to another faith.Talk becoming a priest about it.
God bless and good luck.
Pop along to your local Catholic Church and talk to the priest or any of the congregation that the point in the direction of the RCIA group. You could go along to these meetings to determine if Catholicism is right for you without compromise. I suggest you try them! God bless. You can also try to talk calmly with your parents and family and pray to it.
Very good! I'm glad for you that you want to become a Catholic! That leads to salvation through Christ and Baptism. I am a Catholic and I have gone to Catholic school from 1st grade and now am 10. If you are not sure about conversion, only talk to a priest or spiritual adviser in the Catholic Church. I hope that helped turn me happy! If it does become a Catholic, God will take up the issue with their parents. Just believe in Him and He knows he has everything under control!

This is a big question. Look at this from another angle. We are all one church under God. Most Protestant (root word of protest) is part of the Catholic Church to begin. For services that are very close to the Catholic Mass. I do not think that would be dishonoring to the conversion of their parents. Remember that the Father will serve first. But because they are 15, I am not sure if they would turn their parents without permission. Also, you need a católico "sponsor" to go through the process of becoming a Catechist. (someone who is studying to be Catholic). Your best bet is to go to the Catholic church near you and talk to a priest. Must be able to answer all your questions about it. God bless
Yes, the Catholic Church is the true Church of Christ.
I was the same way. I was a Protestant, anti-Catholic Bible thumper at 14, I am Catholic by 18.
Matthew 10:
34 "Think not that I have come to bring peace on earth. He came to bring peace, but not the sword.
35 For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother and a daughter against her mother-in-law;
36 and the enemies will be those of his house. "
I've been Catholic for 20 years, my parents still give me a hard time. My sister became a Catholic a few years after me.
Peace be with you.

I suggest you talk to a priest at the parish closest to your residence.
I do not think it should be renamed because the Catholic Church recognizes most Protestants as valid the baptism (the Church can also give conditional baptism, which is valid provided that baptism is not Protestant).
As expected, the agents of Satan and Chris and Ye Olde Fasc-Fiter try to prevent anyone from joining the Church founded by Jesus Christ.
That is great to hear. Remember, however, Catholics do not pray to Mary, we ask your prayers. No, it would be dishonouring them. Hopfully see why, and only display some facts. This is the religion of God, founded by Jesus himself, not for Martin Luther. Good luck and I hope to join the faith and worship the God who loves us all so dear.
I would say that you should talk to the priest of the church who are interested in joining. Join a group of teenagers who are involved and study the Bible. Go through the RICA. And then make your decision in the year.
The Catholic Church is the church that Jesus started with Peter and other apostles. All other commitments are broken. History shows that.
Juan,
Talk to a priest about this dilemma, and will guide you.
Good luck on your journey.
BTW - do not listen to those who say they are not a Christian Catholic. We know better.
Hi,
I'd follow up on Catholicism, but who attend services if you want to convert the break after 18 or when they leave the family nest.
Cheers,

Religion is your personal choice, and you are not born into their religion. Decide for yourself.

Personally, I think you should choose to be a Christian. I do not follow any man made doctrines. Use only the Bible to make such decisions. If you find that the Catholic Church is still "only the Bible and not man for the doctrine then you should convert. Otherwise, continue to read and study your Bible and find a church that does the same. The first century Christians of Antioch called themselves Christians. They do not need any degree or another man to make decisions for them. The Bible tells us exactly what we should do (in my opinion). Have a great week.
Thank you,

I understand your dilemma. When I was young, I wanted to convert. My mother was incredulous and never considered that possibility. Sorta like "on his body" and who were Episcopalians. Not much of a difference.
I still want to convert, but what I have now is I'm not sure I can really agree with everything any church. I think I agree with what is most important, but the question really history. I am sure that many of the stories are illustrative and not always in fact.
So God bless you, pray a lot, keep learning, and when they are outside of their parents and of itself, make its decision.
Between now and then, you can have changes in their belief, or perhaps to be strengthened. It will not hurt to wait.
I do not bash Catholics but I can tell you this,
There are some Catholics who are really Christians
The Catholic Charasmatics are authentic Christains have received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and pray that you fill baptized in the Holy Spirit.
But this is the question of why some are Leary is this Catholisim
Some Catholics (not all) OJ pray to Mary some even go so far to call her (in collaboration with the Christ the Redeemer) This is the problem when she was the mother of Jesus.
An account of Jesus is the answer does not really doctrine of any religion or creed.
When Jesus was concerned for his heart is in the (not shouting) how you're not religious.
Ask Jesus for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Know the best.
If you are persistent search Charasmatic Catholic groups to get a.
Now former Catholic Spirit filled Christian
Like most Christians would agree that the level of authority in Christianity is the Bible then that is where your answer.
The Bible says that the true Church was built on the foundation of the prophets and apostles, and as such, for a reunion to be truly a Church, as defined in the Word of God, there must be an apostle as founding members . Is said to be a true Church date back to the apostolic era, which excludes all meetings Protestants.
This leaves only the "Catholic" Church, which literally means "universal" Church, not only Roman Catholics as many believe.
They are Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox, who broke with the Romans in AD 1054 and lastle the Oriental Orthodox Churches, of which the originals before the Roman Catholic. These include the Church of Jerusalem is the original church, which happened on the day of Pentecost. The Church of Antioch in which we read about the acts and where Christians were called "Christians" and the Church of Alexandria, founded by Mark that we recorded for the second Gospel.
But one can not assume that all these have remained loyal to the faith we need to look to the Holy Spirit inspired Word of God to see that the Lord is acknowledged in the day of the trial.
The following prophetic words of Isaiah tells us which of the "altar", as they are known to be places of worship, it is recognized.
"In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, the Assyrians, and shall enter into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians. 24 In that day Israel will be one of the three with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, 25 of whom the Lord of hosts will bless, saying, "Blessed be my people Egypt, Assyria and work my hands, and Israel My inheritance. "Isaiah 19:23
Of course, those outside the apostolic and true "Catholic" churches try to explain these verses twisting by attempting to change its meaning or its context, but ask who is right, the Holy Spirit that inspired the prophet Isaiah or persons today need to justify their claims of authenticity meetings?
First, read the article to come if Google "The lie of the Universal History."
Then, read "The Age of Reason" by Thomas Paine.
No decision is taken with the lack of information.
Raised Baptist, he converted to Catholic because I thought that was the supposed story correct. My mom turns. It was not until many years later I realized that the story of Jesus is a myth anyway.

Catholicism is not Christian. Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works that leads to eternal torment in hell (Galatians 1:6-9).
It is clear from the Book of Acts in the Bible that Catholics did not even exist in the days of the event. Those in the Book of Acts are the early Christians believed and what is called a fundamentalist doctrine today. Anyone can read the Book of Acts and see for themselves. Catholicism had existed during the time of Acts, the early Christians were completely rejected Catholicism.
Christians here also that the "pope" the Antichrist, and also totally rejects Catholicism, long before Martin Luther was even born:

So not only is it wrong to say that "Catholics were the first Christians," but this list blows away from the Catholic claim that "there are no other churches in the Catholic church, until Martin Luther."
I had always kept away from the faithful Catholics in worship, knowing Catholicism can not save anyone. Catholicism is not Christian. Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works can not save (Gal. 1:6-9).
Catholicism can not save. Just believing in Jesus alone for salvation, is what saves.
Salvation is a free gift that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, 1 John 5:13).
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and reach heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell is by believing in faith alone that Jesus is God, died for our sins on the cross as full payment for all our sins, then Jesus was resurrected from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). And I think this will be in heaven, no matter what!
Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Thank you for eternal life! "You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die.
