Pop along to your local Catholic Church and talk to the priest or any of the congregation that the point in the direction of the RCIA group. You could go along to these meetings to determine if Catholicism is right for you without compromise. I suggest you try them! God bless. You can also try to talk calmly with your parents and family and pray to it.

Very good! I'm glad for you that you want to become a Catholic! That leads to salvation through Christ and Baptism. I am a Catholic and I have gone to Catholic school from 1st grade and now am 10. If you are not sure about conversion, only talk to a priest or spiritual adviser in the Catholic Church. I hope that helped turn me happy! If it does become a Catholic, God will take up the issue with their parents. Just believe in Him and He knows he has everything under control! Dios te bendiga! A.M.D.G

This is a big question. Look at this from another angle. We are all one church under God. Most Protestant (root word of protest) is part of the Catholic Church to begin. For services that are very close to the Catholic Mass. I do not think that would be dishonoring to the conversion of their parents. Remember that the Father will serve first. But because they are 15, I am not sure if they would turn their parents without permission. Also, you need a católico "sponsor" to go through the process of becoming a Catechist. (someone who is studying to be Catholic). Your best bet is to go to the Catholic church near you and talk to a priest. Must be able to answer all your questions about it. God bless

Yes, the Catholic Church is the true Church of Christ. I was the same way. I was a Protestant, anti-Catholic Bible thumper at 14, I am Catholic by 18. Matthew 10: 34 "Think not that I have come to bring peace on earth. He came to bring peace, but not the sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother and a daughter against her mother-in-law; 36 and the enemies will be those of his house. " I've been Catholic for 20 years, my parents still give me a hard time. My sister became a Catholic a few years after me. Peace be with you. <<<Devout Catholic>>>

I suggest you talk to a priest at the parish closest to your residence. I do not think it should be renamed because the Catholic Church recognizes most Protestants as valid the baptism (the Church can also give conditional baptism, which is valid provided that baptism is not Protestant). As expected, the agents of Satan and Chris and Ye Olde Fasc-Fiter try to prevent anyone from joining the Church founded by Jesus Christ.

That is great to hear. Remember, however, Catholics do not pray to Mary, we ask your prayers. No, it would be dishonouring them. Hopfully see why, and only display some facts. This is the religion of God, founded by Jesus himself, not for Martin Luther. Good luck and I hope to join the faith and worship the God who loves us all so dear.

I would say that you should talk to the priest of the church who are interested in joining. Join a group of teenagers who are involved and study the Bible. Go through the RICA. And then make your decision in the year. The Catholic Church is the church that Jesus started with Peter and other apostles. All other commitments are broken. History shows that.

Juan, Talk to a priest about this dilemma, and will guide you. Good luck on your journey. BTW - do not listen to those who say they are not a Christian Catholic. We know better.
