If you were me, Do you think this is offensive?
My class was supposed to do a reflection Journal. In my diary I wrote about my problem of smoking and cancer, my mother and I want to stop smoking etc.
One of my phrases was: Nobody knows about this waiting for my close friends. The reason I wrote here because I feel guilty and need to take it out of my chest.
I thought you were thinking of magazines for you to write or reflect their thoughts or actions / feelings, etc and what they did. I had the impression that it was not written to THE DAILY teacher.
I got this answer from my teacher as a comment (just to quote this sentence) ..
"Unfortuntately, I am not the" father "in a confession box and that can help you in your guilt: p".
I thought it sounded offensive. I did not mention religion in my affliations magazine. The only thing that may be mentioned that I like Christian rock.
Do you find that offensive as well or indifferent about it? Do you think you should ask what does the phrase / ignore and move on or write about it in my next journal entry? or do you think that means that my journal is getting a bit tooo personal.
I mean I wrote what was supposed to be my thought .. and I find nothing wrong with abt.

I think that comment was out of line. Maybe your teacher has a problem with Christianity or religion in general.
I would ask around, only to discover exactly what it was. And also to make sure you understand the assignment. That is not supposed to be a magazine in which the right thoughts and feelings … what are you supposed to write?
Wow. It seems that the teacher said "take this sort of thing than others".
I will just ask if this type of journal entry is appropriate. Or go to the dean or director of your school about this.
Teachers are human and as capable of being cruel and snarky as the next guy. I have a similar response to the assigned daily writing in high school 30 years ago! Things have not changed, I think is the most immature giving teachers the task. This is a good writer that, with comments on its contents are not justified, but since that is the position of power, disregard and move on. This is just a sample of the type of personalities that will have to deal with in the world of adults.
It seems that the teacher of the lame attempt to defuse tension and the use of a joke that after reading the post. Perhaps the teacher wants to still feel comfortable in the class after he / she may know that some personal information. Since it was written, probably just read in the context or the teacher may have made it.
I'd like to use the guide now, never write anything personal in the task unless your sure that no one will read it, not even the teacher.
