Hello. As you can see from my other questions I am 16 years old born again Christian. Now I have a question for all Christians out there. I've been telling my dad about how I read my Bible every day and talk about Jesus in school. Now it says it wants to take me to church on Sunday. But it is a church that my parents have been born and with which I used to go to school there. I've read a lot online about how the Catholic Church does not teach everything in the Bible and how to do things like purgatory and worshiping people like Mary. Now is it right for me to go to a Catholic church? I mean it is true that Catholics do not fully follow the Bible? If it is true I do not want to go there. Please any answers would be much I can explain to my dad why I do not think a church is the place to go to worship God. Thank you

I think that, as of 16 years, you are obligated in the eyes of God to obey their parents and honor their wishes. I think the only possible exception is if your parents asked you to do something against the will of God … and I do not think attending a Catholic church to qualify!
